He's next in line to rule the Irish mob, and he’ll do anything to make me his. I’ve been sheltered from the dangers of my family’s criminal activity for most of my life, but when one mistake puts me in debt to the Irish, I have no choice but to accept responsibility and agree to their demands. As Declan MacKenzie’s fiancée . Rumors paint the notorious womanizer as ruthless, wicked and devastatingly handsome. But I don’t know what to believe. You see, I’ve actually run into the Irish mobster before. The Declan I met was intelligent, a fellow art lover, and undeniably gorgeous. The lust he sparked within me was unlike anything I’d ever experienced, and the night we spent together was the best of my life. Until it wasn’t. Now, I’m his reluctant fiancée, and I don’t know what to think. Was anything about our time together real? Or was Declan manipulating me from the moment we first locked eyes? I suppose it doesn’t matter. I’m trapped in this arranged marriage whether I like it or not. Or am I? Claimed by the Irish is an arranged marriage mafia romance with mature themes, mild profanity, and slow-burn-steam. It's book one in The Claimed and Beloved Duet and ends on a cliffhanger.

This. Was. Amazing. I loved Catarina. This was told entirely from her point of view, so I was right there with her for the roller coaster of emotions surrounding Declan MacKenzie. Every time I thought I knew who he was, something would happen that changed everything. I could not put this down, and for some reason I thought this would be a standalone. So imagine my delight when I reached the end and realized we are just getting started. I am so freaking excited for the next book and to see what Catarina does next. And there are some characters in this that I need to figure out as there seem to be many secrets. This is definitely one I will read again and again, especially while I wait for book two. <3

When Cat’s story was introduced in Worth a Thousand Words, I knew I would like this book immediately. Even though we knew what the “deal” was from the previous book, I like how this one gave their back story and how she and Declan met in order to get to their predicament. The club, the fire, the “deal” together add up to such a page turning story. The next installment is sure to be just as entertaining!

Claimed by the Irish...

The Claimed and Beloved Duet book 1. Oh so twisty with plenty of WTF craziness. Two powerful families to mesh together with all drama angst, secrets, lies, and hot burning chemistry between the Italian princess and the next Irish Don. A new author for me and its fantastic.

ends in cliffhanger

Should be required to tell you the book ends in a cliffhanger I really dislike when authors feel the need for series. The story dragged and did not need a second.
