Hudson:
I don't have repeats, I don’t do feelings, and I definitely don’t make commitments.
If you come to me expecting your knight in shining armor, be prepared for disappointment.
It’s my senior year, and I want to enjoy my last bit of freedom before following the path my father has mapped out for me.
Well, that was the plan until Ryan showed up and ruined everything.
Fun.
That's all it was supposed to be, a game—just a way to mess with the new kid.
Except, what started as a game quickly turned into me catching feelings.
And what’s worse, he may never forgive me once he finds out.

Ryan:
This year has been chock-full of bad moments and even worse decisions.
The first was when my mom told me she was getting married again.
The second was being shipped off to a boarding school in the middle of nowhere.
The third was thinking I could trust the fuckboys of Lionheart Academy.
But the worst of them all was the fourth.
I should have known better. I should have listened to my gut.
Rich boys don’t have hearts.
And Hudson Reginn is no exception.

*Betting You is the first book in The Lionheart Academy series. It's a full length, new adult high school novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. It’s recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Please read trigger warnings before proceeding.*

I was really looking forward to reading this. The premise sounded so deliciously angsty, and I was very excited to see it all play out. Unfortunately, though, I feel like the premise itself was really the most interesting thing about this.

The story takes place at an all-boys boarding school, where Ryan is now the new kid, while Hudson is a popular jock. Hudson is best friends with Ryan’s new step brother, who absolutely hates him, and thus, convinces Hudson to take on a bet to hurt Ryan. This bet entails that Hudson will try to make Ryan fall in love with him and then break his heart. However, in the process of pursuing Ryan, Hudson obviously falls head-over-heels in love as well.
After becoming closer and closer to Ryan, Hudson fears there is no way out of his sticky situation concerning the bet without losing Ryan, which is something he desperately wants to avoid. He tries to lie his way out of things, but eventually things come to a head anyway, and both of their hearts end up broken.

As I said before, I loved this premise. I loved the angst surrounding the bet, and I was anxious to see how the reveal would go. I couldn’t wait to see how Ryan would react, and how Hudson would inevitably win him back. I love that kind of stuff, and I wasn’t disappointed here either. Hudson was genuinely destroyed on the inside when Ryan found out about the bet, and Ryan truly made him work for his forgiveness. It took plenty of tries from Hudson before Ryan finally gave in.

“I fucked up so badly, but I love you so much. I don’t want to go another day without you. I miss you. I miss everything about what we had. Please, give me another chance. I promise I won’t hurt you like that again.”
He’s so vulnerable, so open, and I just… “I can’t.” The words leave my lips in a whimper and I see his entire body stiffen as his face falls in devastation. “I’m sorry.”

Aside from the bet thing, though, I just don’t think there was much about their relationship that really captivated my interest. There was absolutely no depth to their connection, and that kind of disappointed me. I’m not really sure why Hudson fell for Ryan, since I don’t see what made him so different from all his many previous hook-ups. All they did was make out and be generally sappy, but they didn’t get to know each other in a special way. They didn’t have meaningful conversations, and they truly had an infatuation type of relationship rather than a deep one. I guess it makes sense that their relationship was mostly cheesy, physical and cutesy, considering they are only seniors in high school, and not adults, but still.

Also, when it comes to the characters, I thought they were a bit confusing. Apart from being kind of bland, I simply do not understand Hudson. There was absolutely no reason for him to take on such a cruel bet, considering he is not a mean person in any of his other actions or thoughts. It was completely out of character, and that kind of ruined the whole ‘bet’ thing a little, since it didn’t make sense. I feel like Hudson would have needed a better reason to take on such a bet other than his best friend simply asking him to. It was a bit ridiculous.

Anyway, long story short, I liked the idea of this book and some of its execution, but it could have been a lot better. The characterization just wasn’t all that great and neither was the development of the relationship. Something was definitely missing for this to be a truly good romance.

If like me, you are always in search of an MM/NA romance with some Cruel Intentions vibes, new boy arrives on the scene in an old-money boarding school where all the boys can probably quote (insert some pretentious author/philosopher) and wear their uniform blazers really well and the head popular boy is tasked with the job of seducing said new boy you will be very happy with Betting You. This stuff is my catnip, people.
The slow burn that comes with games of seduction, the angst and devastation when the deception comes out, mixed with the romance of a fancy boarding school setting and boys everywhere. Ryan and Hudson do get their HEA though (after some good groveling).

”It's an old school. Built in the early 1900s. There are a ton of secret passageways and hidden coves that most teachers don’t know about.”

That is just one reason why old boarding school settings are so much fun.

Greg snorts, clearly amused. “As if he’d sleep with you anyway."

And so it begins…..

Looking forward to future stories at Lionheart Academy!

I’m not completely feeling the three star rating but I didn’t like or dislike this sooo three seems right, I guess!?! Plus I’m rounding up for this being the only book I’ve managed to finish in (what feels like) a longggg time and it only took me a day so yay! 🎉 Characters / story felt pretty hollow and I wasn’t feeling the connection between Hudson and Ryan. The two guys’ friend groups were pretty interchangeable and sometimes the mcs themselves. But it was a fast one and I appreciate it getting me (hopefully🤞🏼) back into reading. I need a break from the word ‘cutie’ for a long time. Like I’m sooo good. Pet names are fun when they aren’t overused. Moments I’ll remember from this book: Hudson getting Ryan a little lion wearing a mini lion heart uniform. Cute! Ryan saying “Am I getting John Cusacked right now?” upon Hudson ya know holding the boom box etc etc etc…I will be stealing that phrase!!👍🏼💗 I’m not even complaining about this because I wanted the book to be over but the conflict resolution sure was speedy!

⭐︎ 4.75 stars rounded up! ⭐︎

I absolutely adored this, I couldn't put it down. This is one of the author's first, and man am I running to their first work after this, their only other published work, because I absolutely adored this one and can't wait to read more from this amazing new author.

This takes place is Ryan and Hudson's last year in high school. So they're 17/18 through the duration of this story. We never get their exact age, but this starts near the beginning of their senior year.

Ryan is new to the Lionheart Academy, having been shipped their recently as his mother is with a man who is rich and can afford that. The man, Theo, also has a son, Greg, who goes there.

Ryan has been all over the U.S. as they move where his mother's next infatuation with a man takes them, even since he was 7 and his dad died.

Greg, the son of Theo, has his own hang-ups, as he lost his mother a few years prior and doesn't have the best relationship with his dad. But he takes his anger, grief and bitterness too far and takes it out on Ryan.

He does that in the form of betting his best friend, Hudson, to make Ryan fall in love with him, sleep with him and then dump him and break his heart.

Hudson is reluctant to do so. He's a 'player', but he's very upfront with all his partners that it's just sex, and he has nothing against Ryan.

But he doesn't know him, and he very loyal to his best friend, and he doesn't think he'll catch any feelings.

Oh, famous last words...or thoughts lol

Of course as Hudson tries to pursue Ryan, feelings start to crop up. As for Ryan, he lasts a few weeks before Hudson's charm just rips through all his defenses, and he gives in fairly quickly, and falls head over heels for Hudson, as Hudson does with him.

But of course, the bet looms large, and it doesn't stay a secret forever. Of course angst and heartbreak and devastation happens, and Hudson has to work for Ryan's forgiveness, but it does happen near the end for us to get our HEA for these two.

Ryan just needed time at the end to work through his hurt and see that Hudson really loved him and for him to prove that to him.

I did just give .25 stars off for just the epilogue at the very end, feeling a little too fast and abrupt. I just wanted a little more from that ending, a little more of Hudson and Ryan being together and settled. Instead we just get a tiny bit of them, and then a cliffhanger set up for Winston and Rhys' book - which I can't wait for! But still - and I just wanted a little longer epilogue, focused more on Hudson and Ryan.

I loved these two together, I absolutely loved their chemistry, and I wanted the epilogue focused soley on them, and getting some more lovey dovey moments between them.

But other than that very small niggle, I absolutely adored this book, and I highly recommend it. Two massive thumbs up from me!😍🥰😘

Off to read "The Redemption of Ronan" now!

*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.***

Betting You is the first entry in the Lionheart Academy series. This story has many great elements that work so well, a New England boarding school setting works wonders in creating a great elite atmosphere to coincide with the sickly sweet romance between Hudson and Ryan.

Hudson and Ryan couldn't be more opposite. Ryan is a new student, shy and reluctant to form any romantic attachments, whereas Hudson is friendly, outgoing and very charming. Ryan is eventually overcome by Hudson's affections leading to such a sweet romance that I was anxious when the other shoe would eventually drop.

The other shoe being The Bet. Ryan's new stepbrother, Greg, wanted to see Ryan suffer, for his own malicious reasons. Hudson although resistant at first, reluctantly agreed to ease his best friend's pain. Then Hudson sets out to win his Bet, but he unknowingly falls for the adorably sweet Ryan.

Their relationship is the strongest part of this story, their is obvious affection and devotion for each other, which makes for the truth reveal so heartbreaking.

Overall Betting You is a great first entry that has a great group of characters that I loved getting to meet and I cannot wait to see more of. Such a great story that has me eagerly waiting for the next one!

I don't give a rats ass about how many of these types of stories exist, SUFFOCATE 👏🏾ME 👏🏾WITH 👏🏾THEM 👏🏾ALL 👏🏾

For a story with such an anxiety-inducing trope, this was so incredibly wholesome. It's always so refreshing when you expect the "jock" character to be a grade-A jerk and he ends up being the sweetest book boyfriend 🥺

"I don’t care about anyone else but him. He’s my fucking everything. I’d gladly sacrifice any of my own comforts to make sure he was okay."

As with any relationship established on the grounds of a bet, this one was practically over from the beginning. I was already counting down the days until the inevitable reveal 😩 I will say though, typically when there's a bet involved I don't trust a word that comes out of the MC who made the bet. However, with Hudson practically inducing a toothache in me, I swooned at every line from his mouth. It was also obvious that this man caught feels from day one. So while, I don't condone his actions, I recognize that he really was just trying to be a good friend.... I'm not saying any more, go read it 🤐😂

I'm so excited for Rhys and Winston!!! Gimme all the Besties-to-lovers all day erryday 😋

Can you fall in love with a book!? My answer is most definitely YES! And that's the case for me with Betting You.
Also, is it too early to say a book makes it to your top ten books of the year? Well, I don't really care if it's early or not because Betting You is most definitely going in my top reads!

It's hard to express it all and I will need some time to get all of my emotions under control to write a proper review.

But for now, I want to say this book was nothing like I expected. It was everything I didn't know I needed. I'm kind of angry at myself for not reading it sooner, but at the same time glad I did right now.

I loved everything. Hudson and Ryan *sighing* I ADORE THEM!!! Where can I find a Hudson for myself? Well, let's remove the betting, but everything else *grabby hands* 🤤🤌💚

"This is everything. Being with him is everything I didn't know I wanted. Now, I just have to hope I don't lose this before I really even get to have it."

Betting You by T. Ashleigh is the first in the author's Lionheart Academy series and this is Hudson and Ryan's story. Set in the Lionheart Academy boys' school, this follows the enemies to lovers story of a nerd (Ryan) and a jock (Hudson) who start 'dating'as a result of a bet from Hudson's best friend - who also happens to be Ryan's new step-brother, Greg. Who totally hates him.

You know where this is going but there's a nice little twist of angst thrown in when the bet is exposed, and between the 'warring' step-brothers.

Add some steamy (first) times, great side-characters (who will hopefully be getting their own stories) and a HEA and you can't go wrong.

This was my read from T. Ashleigh and it won't be my last.

4 steamy, happy stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really really enjoyed this enemies to lovers story based on a bet that kind of gets out of hand.

This story had 4 main emotions that were kind of used as chapters if that makes sense? annoyance, adorable sweetness heartbreak and full blown love.

Hudson and Ryan’s story is like a rollercoaster of events and emotions, but I held on throughout and the end result was worth it.

I have always loved an enemies to lovers book and I liked the concept of how it played out. I must say I just wanted to love and protect Ryan, the honesty of his character was super refreshing to see. Hudson is the typical jock, but he won me over quite quickly.

This is quite a fast paced story, but not too fast, I didn’t feel like I was left hanging. It flowed really well.

Great writing, great chemistry, great emotions and a solid set of characters.

Really looking forward to the next book in the series as this one has set it up well. I feel like there is so much to come from each of the side characters, Tyler in particular.

i enjoyed the pacing of this book, but it genuinely felt like nothing happened. the entire story is just hudson and ryan falling in love with this looming bet that’ll eventually tear them apart. but no worries cause they get back together fairly quickly! 👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌(i’m pissed that the groveling was trash😀)

speaking of groveling, that was literally the only reason why i kept reading for as long as i did. i started skimming because a lot of it was dragging but when it came to hudson begging for forgiveness, i felt NOTHING. like, not even a single flutter of butterflies were felt in my stomach. and that’s how i know that there really was no connection between the two mcs. i needed to FEEL that hudson was losing the love of his life and it just wasn’t giving. i should have dnf’d after the first few chapters, but i was curious and wanted to swoon over some trouble in paradise.

also, i’m going to spare ryan and not say too much about the cliff scene. i rolled my eyes when i read the prologue because it was soo dramatic and unnecessary. when we caught up to that moment later in the book, i felt some secondhand embarrassment. like, y’all have known each other a couple months, stand up and go study for an exam or something 🙄.

i loved it. i was fully prepared to give it five stars till about 87% but the ending has got me reducing the rating.

the scene where Ryan finds out the truth had a possibility of being crueler and honestly? the reaction from Ryan would have fit if it had but it wasn't, so it just looked overly dramatic to me🥲.

wonderful chemistry too🥵. the kind I've been looking for- all explosive and shit.

the sass wasn't the best but it was alright.

Betting You is the first book in a new series, Lionheart Academy, by author T. Ashleigh. This is the first book I’ve ready by T. Ashleigh, but I will definitely be coming back for more! I really enjoyed her writing style and thought the storyline and character development were very well done. She also had great supporting characters that made me long for more books for each of them. She even managed to somehow make me hate and feel bad for the “villain” of the story. Not sure how that happens, but I hope even he gets his own book so I can learn more about his struggles.

Since I started reading MM books, I’m always on the hunt for new stories. Bonus if I can find some good New Adult age MM books. I was stoked to hear about Betting You for the first time and I have to say the story did not disappoint. It checked all the boxes for me; strong leads, angst, fun side characters, opposites attract, heartbreak leading to a HEA, and fun/snarky banter. Definitely recommend reading the book if you are a fan of any of the above themes and are looking for a fast, fun read. The book sucked me in and didn’t let me out until I finished, in one setting. Who cares about work and other responsibilities anyways.

* Warning* Possible Spoilers below*

Betting You follows the story of Ryan and Hudson. Ryan is starting his senior year at a new boarding school after the surprise of his mother’s engagement. He's been burned in the past by guys, so he’s gun-shy and unwilling to trust the popular guys. Hudson is a self-proclaimed player who has strict rules when it comes to his romantic partners. Hudson is just looking to enjoy his senior year when his roommate and best friend proposes a “bet” to pull one over on his soon to be stepbrother (hello Ryan). The last thing either of them expected was to fit together so perfectly. Their feelings for each other are almost tangible which is why the heartbreak hits so hard when the news of the bet is spilled for all parties. It was really powerful to experience that scene from Hudson’s point of view because while it started as a way to help his best friend, he completely fell for guy and had to deal with the fallout from both sides. The character development over the course of the story was something I really enjoyed. Ryan’s confidence grew with each chapter and he starting to really open up to his friends and everyone as the story continued. Hudson went from a total player with no regard for anyone’s feelings aside from his friends, to a devote boyfriend who cared about someone so beautifully. I would love to read more about Hudson and Ryan but am happy with the little tidbits I’ll get as we see more of the other character’s stories.

Overall, I really enjoyed Betting You and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new MM read. I’m really looking forward to what the next books in the Lionheart Acadamy series brings. I can’t wait to explore some of the fun side characters as they navigate their own love lives.

I loved everything about this. It was the perfect setting, perfect pacing, perfect characters, perfect circumstances, perfect chemistry, perfect everything (except ).

🥵 MM
🕍 All-boys boarding school
⚽️ Playboy jock MC1 & virgin MC2
👯‍♂️ Stepbrother's best friend / Best friend's stepbrother
👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 all the boys hooking up and no one bats an eye; no homophobia at THIS school, yes!
💥 A bet
👌 low-angst but not no-angst because ^ of the bet plot point

Ryan and Hudson are so sweet, they make my teeth rot, and I'm all for it. Their scenes and interactions were so cute and their chemistry sucked me right in, I couldn't get enough of them. I wanted to read more of their moments together and how they continue to grow in the relationship with each other.

All the side-characters (with the exception of Greg) were great. I can't wait for them to all get their own story. I loved that even though they were in an all-boys boarding school, no one bats at eye at all the "gay" pairings and gestures. If you're out, that's ok and no one makes a big deal out of it. Boys are hooking up left and right and no one bats an eye. I LOVE IT! Gimme all the low-angst yasssss

Can't wait for book 2 of this series. Judging from the last scene, Maybe... Hmmmmm...

I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by the author.

I devoured this on the flight home and I swear it was the most emotional flight of my life. The world of Lionheart Academy has so much to offer and if this first book from this world is anything to go by, Iight just become addicted.

Hudson is the jock, playboy who doesn't do emotions. He doesn't have time for them, he just chases the physical release when he needs it and with his looks he has no shortage of takers. When the new guy catches his eye and a dangerous bet is put his way, he begrudgingly accepts but what he never expected was for his tightly controlled world to be ripped apart and his heart to be kick started.

Ryan is the sweetest of souls who has never been loved like he deserves, he's been dragged from pillar to post whilst his mum chases down man after man. Everything changes when he's sent to an all boys boarding school and he catches the hot jocks eye.

Their beginning may have begun as a secret bey but the connection they have is instant. As they spend more time together feelings are caught and the stakes of the game changes. Their story holds pain as we learn more about the challenges they face as individuals but it holds nothing on a broken heart.

You know when things are seemingly perfect that your heart is about to get ripped out and well, let's just say three hearts got shattered, and thrown onto the floor. The emotional roller coaster is epic and it was utterly addictive, this book was a brilliant read.

Aw! T, has done it again and brought an amazing read for such a new author. Betting you was such an extreme difference to The Redemption Of Roman, but I ain't complaining! I hadn't really known what to expect from betting you but I had thought it would be a little more angsty than it actually was. I'm not even gonna lie though I'm secretly glad this was written the way it was. Betting you was super sweet story of a foolish boy making a stupid bet over a boy who showed him he could be so much more than the Jock everybody saw him as. This had major After vibes by Anna Todd. But this is MM which obviously makes it 1000% better in my books. I loved all the supporting characters and can't wait for the next book in the Lionheart Academy, gonna need Greg's book real bad! Absolutely adored Hudson and Ryan. 💛

Highly recommend Betting You, and really anything T. Comes out with in the future because I already know she's gonna go far.

🌶🌶🌶

T. Ashleigh is a fairly new author and this is the first book of hers I've read and I'm telling you she's GOING places! Sometimes you read an author and you're just like yeah, they've got it, and she certainly does!

The writing was exquisite. The world building was outstanding. I loved the kinship between the friends in each group. And of course I adored the love connections throughout the book.

*M/M
*Slow burn
*opposites attract
*virgin hero
*stepbrother's best friend

Ryan is pretty used to following his love sick mom all over the country. So when she uproots him again it's not really all that surprising to him. What is, is the fact that he's being sent to an all boys boarding school/ Lionheart Academy, where he will be attending with his new stepbrother. His very hostile stepbrother and his close friends.

What starts out as a bet between Ryan's stepbrother, Greg, and his best friend Hudson shortly turns into the most important love connection none of them saw coming.

"This is everything. Being with him is everything I didn’t know I wanted. Now, I just have to hope I don’t lose this before I really even get to have it."

Hudson and Ryan's love story was so sweet. You could instantly feel the connection between these two. I loved the banter and witty comments both threw at one another and the fact that their relationship was based on more than just sex was amazing to see. Not to say there wasn't any sexy scenes because there definitely were and the one's you do come across are 🥵.

The friendships both these characters had throughout the story were so great, the guys all had each others backs and were there for them through the best and worst of times. They really added a lot of depth to the story and I cannot wait to see how T. Ashleigh plays off of their characters for future books in the series!

I absolutely loved Hudson and Ryan’s story!! This was a new to me author and I’m so glad I came across her writing! Hudson and Ryan’s story is a new adult romance set in an all boys boarding school. These two stole my heart as a I was reading, and I didn’t want to put it down. I loved seeing Hudson trying to win Ryan over. First for the bet he made his friends, and then because he realized he genuinely wanted to be with Ryan. Ryan tried his best to keep Hudson at arms length, but he started to melt for his romantic gestures and attention. I loved their connection, and their chemistry together was smoking hot! I loved seeing this first love unfold, knowing in the back of my mind this bet was still lingering in the background. The bet blew up spectacularly, as these things do. However the pain each of these guys felt was so palpable as the reader. It felt like my heart in my throat. Their pain jumped off the page and the emotions were so strong. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book where I felt the character’s pain so acutely. One of the best parts of an epic misunderstanding is the makeup and forgiveness. Their makeup took makeups to a whole new level and standard I will now measure all future makeups! Can I say how much I loved “the moment”?! I legit squealed and clutched my t-shirt and said “awww”!! It was perfection. I loved the roller coaster of emotions throughout their story and finished with such a huge smile on my face! I’m so glad to know this isn’t the last we’ll see if this group at Lionheart Academy.

Equal parts heartbreaking, heartfelt, hot, and wholesome.
Oh, man... Where do I even begin? Often with new "baby" authors, the stories are riddled with errors, plot holes, below-average writing style, and overall just a struggle to read; that is NOT the case with T. Ashleigh.
Betting You is a standalone within a series following a group of young men in an all-male boarding school—Yup, already hot and steamy off the riff. The journey we take with Hudson and Ryan is so very down-to-earth yet keeps you on the toes the whole read-through. True to T's token fashion, she ripped my heart out, took it on a ride, and stitched it back into my chest, feeling all the feels yet warm and fuzzy simultaneously. This is an enemies-to-lovers, bully MM romance that will definitely be reread with each new release for the Lionheart Academy. She made sure to hit the balance between emotional plot and steamy lead-up. Without a doubt, I just know that every book of her's that I'll read (which will be all of them, I can promise you that) will just wreck me and complete me each time. Betting You is a phenomenal read; as always, I cannot WAIT to see what comes next!

Betting You is book one in the new Lionhearted Academy Series. An m/m romance.
I’ve been so hyped about this book for so long and it did not disappoint one bit. This new series has started with a bang!
I absolutely love Hudson & Ryan. Their both so different but so perfect for each other. If only it wasn’t for the bet Hudson accepted from his best friend to try and make him feel better.
A relationship built on a bet and lies is never going to end well and unfortunately Hudson is going to find out the hard way.
This book is emotional with aspects of anxiety, hot & steamy, raw and real, teenage drama and mistakes.
I couldn’t get enough. This author is amazing in her ability to put pen to paper and really tell their story and bring it to life.
I got such a great feel for these characters and what their life is like. It was a movie reel in my head and I loved it.
Putting this book down was not an option. Once you’ve started, your addicted and I’m all there for that!
I can’t wait to see what happens with the other guys next in this new addictive series. There’s something at the end that will leave you begging for the next book already 😉
A enormous five stars from me. Highly recommend.

Very cute. Cruel Intentions vibes with a happy ending. It reads like it’s meant for teenagers, but it’s good for when you need something easy and predictable.

Betting You is book one in the Lionheart Academy series.
Three boys and a bet that wasn’t supposed to end like this.
Ryan doesn’t want to fall in love, Hudson doesn’t do feelings.
Greg is hurt, mad at the world because his dad is getting remarried after his mother’s death. He makes a bet with best friend in order to hurt his new stepbrother (Ryan). You kind of want to really hate him but getting to know his real reasoning behind this bet you kind of want to just hug him and wrap him up in a blanket…
The heartbreak following New Year’s is devastating, both Ryan and Hudson suffer immensely. The pain, the longing and Ryan’s humiliation is palpable through the pages.
During this story Hudson learns the meaning of true love and Ryan finds out what it feels like to have a home with another person.
This story was a wonderful read. I would have loved if Hudson had had to grovel and beg a bit more but honestly I don’t think Ryan’s (and my) heart would have made it through that 🙈.
T. Ashleigh built wonderful character, those young men seem more mature than high school boys in most of the situations.
I am very excited for more books about the gang Lionheart Academy

THE PLAYER MEETS HIS MATCH!

I devoured this book and need more from this author!

I was introduced to the blurb of this book on facebook for MM ARC sign ups and it really intrigued me and starting this gripping, heartfelt book entranced me....

The player of the Lionheart Academy all-boys boarding school, Hudson Reginn, sets his sights on the new boy, Ryan Graves when bumping into him in the communal bathroom but feeling obligated to his best friend and room mate Greg he agrees to break Ryan Graves - Greg' soon to be step brother's heart....

Their journey is not easy as Ryan is feisty and makes it difficult for Hudson to accomplish the bet and that is Hudson's weakness....

"The Cutie has some feistiness and I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a weakness of mine."
"I love a guy who can dish it as well as he can take it."

A lot of angst lies ahead when the truth is revealed but will Ryan forgive Hudson?
Will Hudson fight for his love or choose loyalty to his best friend?

A sweet love story with all the feels to make it superb!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the first book in the Lionheart Academy series. Each book can be read as a standalone. This series is a MM with a HEA ending.
Ryan's mom has a new boyfriend and that means they will be moving again. Only this time he is being shipped off to boarding school with his soon to be step-brother Greg. Did I mention Greg hates Ryan and has made it his mission to make his life miserable. He just has to make it through this last year then he can get out on his own.
Hudson is Greg's best friend and roommate. Him and his friends come up with a game to make Ryan pay for his mom being a gold digger. But somewhere along the game his feelings turn real and now he's just trying to keep Ryan from finding out about the game. He really needs to confess to Greg that he's not playing the game anymore.
This was a new to me author. I loved this book and can't wait for more from the author and from this series.

This is a sweet high school romance with a bully side. It all starts with a well meaning bet for a friend that is hurting, but what happens when the bet has feelings? What happens when you find yourself caring about that person ?

T. Ashleigh writes the best MM romances filled with heat and angst. This is a must read ! Watch out for the Easter eggs…because there’s more to come from these characters !

I loved this book! It's a high school romance set in a boarding school. But it's not all sweetness and sunshine either. There some angst thrown in and some bully style love but ultimately an HEA.

Definitely an MM book that everyone needs to read! It started a little slow for me but then BAM just sucks you in and keeps you up all night!

Can't wait (I mean I'm totally waiting patiently-shifty eyes-) for the second installment!

**I read a complimentary copy of this book**

This book really hit me in the feels from the get go. From the main characters to the side characters. The hurt/comfort side of the book really got to me had to stop for a sec and she'd a few tears. Not too much angst but the perfect amount of steam. I'm hoping there will be more from this series and seriously hoping there will be more books for the side characters 🙂

The book starts out with Ryan's mom moving them again due to her relationship and enrolling Ryan in lionheart academy with Greg his new stepbrother who has a lot of anger and resentment going on.

Greg makes the bet with Hudson (his best friend)

Hudson is charming, and Ryan is not falling for all of his charms so Hudson steps it up. Things progress with them and come crashing down at new years.

Hudson is determined to make things right.

No spoilers 😉, great start of a series!!
