Guy Tal is a naturalist, writer and photographer based in Utah. His internationally-acclaimed images and essays were published in numerous media and languages. Guy seeks to inspire a closer kinship with the wild and to promote a deeper understanding of the natural world. Guy's diverse background and life experiences - from a childhood and military service in the heart of the Middle East conflict, through academic work, business, and Information Technology - have given him a unique perspective and appreciation of the most basic elements of existence - both physical and spiritual - that bond all living beings. Through his art, Guy hopes to celebrate the raw beauty of wilderness, and to inspire more people to see it as both the literal and proverbial common ground - the root of all that we are, and the most valuable legacy we can leave to our succesors.

I am a professional writer and photographic artist living in Utah. I am the author of several books, a blogger, and an educator. In my photographs, I aim to express emotions and moods rather than to document or commemorate the appearances of places or events.
