It was a wild ride! A fight for our FMC, her strength to overcome her ordeals was well written imo. As much as she didn’t want to cry so as not show weakness, I believe it shows more of her ability to be real to us readers and at the same time put her emotions into good use 😉 I really enjoyed this series but be aware of the trigger warnings, they are there for a reason.

Loved Malik, his spontaneous responses giving us a laugh at times and his darkness simmering on the sidelines. Diego was lovely though he was for me definitely milk chocolate with a hint of dark 😬 Laith well, he was just adorable. Quinton and Jaeger hmmm! You are gonna have to read the series and make up your own mind about them.

I couldn't wait for the third and final book. I had many questions and hoped for redemption with a couple of the guys.

Overall, the book and storyline are original. The Steel Dragon series is a why choose MC trilogy. As much as I loved Chino in book one. Diego and Malik stole the series. So hot and spicy, both with an open heart and mind.

Five stars alone for spice and Genni’s character growth. So what are the three stars, you ask?

Please note I hate giving bad reviews, and in the past, I have never didn’t love a book this author wrote.

Here is my constructive criticism. I understand where the author was going with Chino and Jaeger’s redemption; my concern is it became repetitive. The book also seemed to drag. The ending seemed rushed, and a few details seemed glossed over.

I will say the ending is an excellent intro to the next book.

An epic ending

Steel Dragons MC been a series that I have loved from the very beginning. Dragon Scorch wrapped it up beautifully. Genni and her guys go through absolute hell and the emotions were riding high. Although I did find it a little slow in the middle the pace picked right back up again. Dragon Scorch’s spice is right up there! (Those scenes are WOAHHH 🥵) The plot twists and secrets revealed had me hanging on the edge. I’m going to miss Genni, Malik. Jaeger, Chino, Diego and Leith but I do hope to see how they are going in Hell’s Viper.

What a finale to this series!! I loved the development of Genni's relationship with everyone, but especially Jaeger. This was so good. Very satisfying ending, and I can't wait for the Viper to get her own book!!

I loved gettin all the different points of views as certain characters finally came around. I seriously loved this series and can’t wait for the next! CA Rene did an amazing job with this series. Very highly recommend it to all RH lovers!

Loved every page

I would recommend this trilogy to anyone who loves a strong female character who has to rise out of the ashes to become the woman she was always meant to be. Whilst also capturing the hearts of damaged lovable (in their own way) men. Couldn't get enough of these characters and this world.

I almost gave it three stars and then the redemption never happened with one and a half characters, and I just couldn't.

!!! Spoilers and TW For What's Discussed Below !!!

This why choose felt very lobsided even by the end. She cared for them all, but it was clear that she cared most for the two who deserved it least, at the expense of all others, if need be. She's lucky they others cared enough about her to put up with her antics because the rest were really afterthoughts and any of her interactions with them were initiated by them once they'd had enough and sought her out.

"Why is it not okay that Genni found herself behind enemy lines as the next President of an MC? It happens all the time to us and we’re often tortured and killed for it. She fucking survived, and on top of that, she now has a taste of what it’s like being President and the risks that come with it. How are there different rules for her because she’s a woman?"

Yeah, that's a quote from exactly who you think it's from. This is his only reaction after finding out she was raped and tortured by them. Wow. He doesn't get it at all. He never changes his stance on this, btw, he just mentions that he realized at some point that he doesn't deserve her for what happened, but wants to make things right before trying to. We never really get him admitting that he should have made a different choice, he just wants to make up for what happened because of that choice. Although surprisingly I felt okay with him by the end. I don't think he groveled enough, and even at the end he felt his reasons for betraying her were right for the information he had at the time, which means he's okay betraying even people he says he loves if it means he gets his way in the end. That's...worrisome. He mentioned that he started falling for her before it all happened, so HOW exactly does that mean he was okay with what he did to her? Agh.....I can't with that. He even mentioned that it only made her into the strong woman she is today. BUT I at least felt by the end that he finally was putting her first above everything else, and I can accept that. I guess. I felt at least okay with him by the end of the book.

The other one, whose name shall never leave my lips (fingers, whatever), was still waffling with his loyalty at the end. He never once put her first, despite endless internal monologue since book two about his regret for not doing so the first and second times he had the opportunity to. He was the step-brother's lap dog right up until the end and the switcharoo they did with the MCs had me rolling my eyes because of course he ended up there.

“I will protect him until the day I die. He is my brother, my family. You don’t know the whole story. He put his hands on you, he fucking handed you over to the enemy, and none of those things are okay, but I know the person he is underneath all of that."

I hate him the most.

*Eye roll* He's Jaeger's fanboy first and foremost. This is the same guy who didn't feel like she could be their president because she's a woman (the woman he's in love with), mentioned constantly in his internal thoughts that it should be Jaeger and not her (even late in this book!!), but he went along with her as president in a "I'll humor her for now until daddy gets home" way. And then ended up in Jaeger's MC when everything was said and done. I'm not surprised at all.

Honestly the other three of her men are the only reason for the two stars I gave this book.

Ew they're still going from back to front door while having sex in this book too. The poor FMC and the infections she'll be having with these guys doing this.

Ugh okay and then she's so dumb. After all her supposed training, they go into battle and she suddenly turns tstl. She leaves her guys behind to chase after her in the middle of battle as she takes off to who knows where because she was screaming and panicking over them possibly being shot but actually just distracting them instead. And her actions end up in one of them being shot as he tries to protect her and the one who was sniping to protect her having to instead cover him and the one trying to save him. She just keeps going not even realizing the ones who were supposed to protect her are not following her, getting herself taken and having to be saved, which only results in two more of her guys being injured to point the book wants to make us think they're gonna die. But of course they don't, because this is fiction and even after a gun fight with the cartel, of all things, they all survive. Who goes into battle like that?

And don't get me started on the cartel. You're trying to tell me that some random guy from Arizona somehow raises himself high enough to run the cartel? THE CARTEL? Yeah right. And that after he's killed, during an attack on their compound, the cartel just....disappears with no retribution and all is good? Only in fiction.

The mlm stuff still felt a bit like queerbaiting in this book, even though the characters attempted to establish a relationship. Every time they did anything (which only went so far as kissing and a BJ in the book), one of the characters was mostly thinking about how much it turned the FMC on, while the other had much sweeter thoughts of things developing with that character, so it's a toss-up for me.

It ends on an HFN with her apparently having to split her time between two MCs because even though she had her guys work to join the MCs, it was all for nothing because they separated days later and she gave the presidency of the MC he didn't grow up with over to Jaeger. I was annoyed but not surprised.

Thank you C. A. Rene and JLCR Author Service.

“I got it from here, Ma,”

Been waiting for this one and MAN, was it worth it. Chrissy knocked it out of the park. What a conclusion!! Questions answered. Loose ends tied. Club life. For most, growing up seeing the worst. But gaining a family through the brotherhood. Danger always present. That’s just the way of this life. Do what needs to be done. No questions asked. But that also leads to consequences. Slayer. Genevieve. Genni. V. She brings them together, uniting swore enemies. That’s the strength of the bond they all share. Secrets. Lies. Betrayal. Retribution. Connection. Brotherhood. Family. Passion. Love. This series has it all and Dragon Scorch wrapped it up perfectly. I can’t get over how good it is!! Dare I say better than SOA… because I felt every emotion. Was invested the entire time. Couldn’t put it down. Finished in one sitting. Didn’t want it to end. It’s intense, passionate, dark, spicy and the best MC series I’ve ever read. Don’t sleep on this one.

“You want to be with her? Show her you can match her strength, that you can deserve her. Even if it’s only for this short time.”

“You own me, Genevieve Varga,”
“My heart, my soul. You own me.”

“I know you as well as I know myself, and I needed to come in here and give you a taste of what we could be, just to make sure you come back.”

“Let’s go to the park once a week at least,” IYKYK

“I would rather die a hundred deaths than to ever experience her loss.”

what a way to end this amazing series!

I have been on the edge of my seat with this one! I have followed Ca Rene since her first book, and I am obsessed with her work. Diego and Malik are mine!

Honestly love the dynamic with all the characters in this series. I really enjoy how you don’t quiet know how it goes with them either. Are they, aren’t they? It’s a ride I love and this one was filled with tension all the way. I love genni’s growth, yet she still has that part of her that’s vulnerable. I love how each of her guy’s compliment and bring something different out of her and each other. Seeing the workings of their unique dynamic was fascinating in this series.

Secrets were revealed, revelations that stunned and shook us to the core and an ending we all love! This book ended the series perfectly. I must admit I had reservations with one character but towards the end I came around and I really enjoyed how it all came to an end. I’m going to miss Malik, but I hope we see these characters in future work Ca Rene comes out with.

This is a great MC series and it has some unique twists to it which sets it apart from others and is memorable. Hands down love this series.

Final rating: 4.5/5
Heat: 🔥🔥🔥🔥/5

What an incredible ending to this wild, twisty trilogy. If you haven’t read the first two books, Dragon Slayer and Dragon Strife, please do so now because there may be spoilers in this review and because you MUST know the sweet, deliciously chaotic wonder that is DADDY MALIK CHARLES.

This series has all the tropes and couple combos: MMF, mfm, MF, stepbrother, brothers best friend, twins, doctor/patient, unhinged cinnamon roll, regular cinnamon roll, alphahole, feisty FMC, revenge and reborn FMC. Lots of groveling and forgiveness and redemption to be had, because for real, JAEGER VARGA HAD SOME MAKING UP TO DO. And he did a veeeerryyy good job of doing that 😘😏

The twists and turns this book took blindsided me. There were so many secrets and truths laid bare, I was gasping for breath. Genevieve/Genni/V goes through literal H€ll and back to achieve her final form, and while it’s agonizing to read, she’s so beautiful and strong at the end. And she has an amazing group of crazy, loving men to support her. Hands down, Malik Charles is my favorite chaotic character - he had the best lines of the whole series. MALLLIIIKKKKKKK!!! 😍

The sneak peak at the end had me drooling and I’m excited for the next series!!

Holy Hell that was just incredible!

Malik is my favorite his character is like a one man show with all the one liners. This book is full of twists and turns as well as action packed right to the end!

I gotta say Jaeger finally gets some love from me in the final book. About time he realizes things.

Laith is a sweetheart the teddy bear of the harem. Absolutely protective of Genevieve no matter what. I love how his story ended up with his brother.

Quinton ugh he tugs at your heart strings. He’s such a great character especially how he pains for his decision he made in book one. He does get his happiness and it’s so great what’s side during it.

Diego he’s one bad ass sniper. Always around to protect the people he loves. His relationship with Malik is swoon worthy in my opinion. I do feel a bit bad for him and Delia for what they find out as well as what Genevieve finds out about her past as well have the tissues ready.

The final book was amazing such an incredible story right down to the epilogue be prepared to cry a bit at certain parts as well as giggle especially with Malik ugh he’s a hilarious character and a great part of a dark story. Sad to see their story end but so excited to see Delia’s story next I’m hoping we get some crossovers.

Remember this is a dark RH with dark themes and always check your TW it’s ok if it’s not your jam. If you absolutely love reverse harems and MC romances with a touch of taboo relationships and a strong female character this is definitely a top read.
All books need to be read in order as it’s a trilogy.

You’ll definitely fly through these books they’re so well written and these are my first from this author and I’m definitely a fan and will be reading more of her work.

Whoa what a wolf ride that was 😱

We pick up where book 2 finished and that ended on a massive bombshell. I wasn’t sure what the direction of this book was going to go in but was excited about the journey.

I was hooked from the beginning, I have been waiting for the final book of Genni of her harem of men and I loved every single minute of it. The plot is soooo good you get lost in the world of the Steel Dragons and the shitshow that surrounds them. It’s oh so addictive you don’t want it to ever end 🖤

I had so many emotions whilst reading, even to the point of tears because of the things that happened. It’s an emotional rollercoaster of secrets that start being revealed and just don’t stop.

The twists and turns where amazing and finally that explosive moment between Genni and Jaeger, well, I’ve been waiting for that for a while and it did not disappoint 🖤

Spice was next level for this book and I seriously want to be the filling in that man sandwich 🥵🥵

The conclusion of these characters was amazing, I didn’t know what to expect but it was just perfect. I know we haven’t seen the last of them and can’t wait to see more of the other characters from this story.

Dragon Scorch is the third and final book in the Steel Dragons MC series. This book is told from multiple points of view by Genevieve (Genni), Jagger, Quintin (Chino), Laith, Diego, and Malik.

This book starts off right where book two ends, so these books need to be read in order. Genni will do whatever she has to to get back at Jagger, Chino, and Laith. They have wronged her, and she wants revenge. As she's trying to get revenge there is a new threat to her.

Can she work with those who have wronged her to go after this new threat? So much happens in this book. Relationships grow stronger, secrets come out, battles are won and lost.

I loved every minute of this series and getting to know these characters. I'm sad to see it go, but am very excited to see what new adventure this author brings to us!

And with the release of Dragon Scorch the Steel Dragons MC trilogy wraps to a close. If you’ve come this far you know that Genni has been through the wringer but she’s come out the other side a stronger, more confident, fierce queen.

In this third installment we finally uncover how deep the rabbit hole of lies and deception truly goes. The entire MCs foundation is rocked to the core and it’s up to Genni to sift through the rubble and rebuild to something even better than the original. Everyone is fighting against their own demons and finds the strength needed to grow in this new found family centered around one badass queen.

I loved watching these characters knit together (even if I still don’t TOTALLY forgive Jaeger 😂) and how they all mesh and flow. My heart belongs to Malik & Laith 🖤 and I am very much looking forward to the continuation through Delia’s story.

All in all this was a dynamic, spicy MC series and I had fun reading it.

Talk about an evolution. This entire cast of characters showed a wild amount of growth and change. I was NOT confident that Jaeger would redeem himself, and even though he made strides he's still got hella groveling to do.

I thought I had figured out what was going on but I should have known better, there were still some twists in there. I have some questions still but with the promise of a duet to follow I'm super excited to see if I get my answers. i wouldn't call these books plot heavy exactly but there is SO much to chew on.

We got a little of everything and our emotions were messed with, but in the best ways. I know this is going to be a comfort series for me which may sound weird but they're just easy for me to digest and enjoy over and over. This has been one of my favorite series so far.

I'm ready for the Viper!

I’m really bad at reading and finishing a complete series in one go, so this third and final book in the “Steel Dragons” series has been sitting on my kindle for a while now. With Delia’s story on the way though, I felt the need to complete Genevieve’s part.

“Dragon Scorch” finally provides all the answers to questions from the first two books, and the path to redemption and forgiveness. I’m not sure this redemption arc would be satisfying to me, but I can see Genevieve’s point of view and how she is no longer the young woman she was at the start of this series. In a way, she embraces the new her and the things that happened to become the strong woman she is now. While I’m sure not everyone would respond to trauma like her, it does make sense for Genevieve.

I truly love Malik; he’s my kind of book boyfriend, and I have to admit none of the others managed to touch me the same way. Still, I like how all five men are truly different, and how they all add something important to Genevieve’s life. I absolutely enjoyed this final book, and I’m already looking forward to the start of Delia’s story

Wow!

When the underlying message of the book hits FUCK DOES IT HURT.

These characters are unapologetically a fucked up mess. And I love them so damn much. Saying goodbye to them being the mains is so hard.

I loved seeing Genevieve grow. I love that she didn't grow into this perfect person. She grew into herself.

The twins' healing was everything. Malik is MINE! But so is Jaeger, so yeah! Diego my sweet sweet. I loved the progression of him and Malik 😘 Quintons statement of ID turn my back on it all for her 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Also the name drop of my babies in there I SAW THAT 🤌🏾🤌🏾😭

I hate when C.a wraps up a series I feel like I lost a friend knowing that's it for them..

Now I can't wait for Delia's story!!!! The fucking Fire that is going to be!!!

That was a heck of a ride. I’ll be honest, it started out pretty slow and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen but then woah. So many revelations, some I didn’t even see coming and it was totally worth it.

There has been a lot of character growth within this trilogy, and I especially loved seeing the some of the MMCs finally smarten up. I loved how the author used so many POVs in this book. The jumping around told a much better and cohesive story because you saw what happening from all angles.

I enjoyed these characters and this world and I’m even more excited to see the next duet featuring some of the characters we met. I was pleasantly surprised that this book takes place within the shared world of the author’s other series so there were mentions of some of those characters. I can’t help but wonder if we are in for future cameos or even a shared book. Maybe?

Dragon Scorch (book 3- Steel Dragons MC)
Author- C.A Rene

MC
Why Choose
Dark
enemies to lovers
Redemption
Strong female main character
Heat 5/5

Dragon Scorch is the third and final book in Genevieve's and the Steel Dragon's story. And honestly it was my favorite of the three. So many secrets are uncovered and so many revelations will leave you reeling. Just buckle up and hold on because it is a fast paced, HOT ride. It brings out the lusty and wanton biker bunny in you because dang was I looking to go buy my husband a leather jacket and a Harley. Too bad he doesn’t have a deranged twin. 5/5 recommend.

The ending we've all been waiting for has finally come. The story comes full circle with secrets and lies being uncovered, apologies being made and forgiveness doled out. Genni's story has been a wild ride and this finale does not disappoint. The spice is hot and heavy with multiple group scenes that will leave you panting. Everyone finally comes together to face the common enemy. It was painful to read at some parts and others made me want to throw my phone. But overall I loved this story and these characters. I loved the redemption arcs and getting to see inside every person's head about what all was going down. Hands down one of the best mc series I've read.

I don’t want this series to end! This has been such a wild ride since book 1 and I enjoyed every second of it. I will dearly miss Gennie and her men (most of them at least.).

Dragon Scorch was a very well-done series conclusion. All the questions have been answered and we have closure for most of our characters (there is a spin off series coming!). There were many twists and turns that I did not see coming and I was glued to the page the second I started this one. This was also probably the darkest of the series, which is saying a lot as this series has been very heavy! I love that we got to see more of the history between everyone’s favorite twins, as well as the major drama in the Varga family.

The boys have all come such a long way, the character development in this series is phenomenal. Diego and Malik will forever be my loves. I really grew to like Laith and even forgave Chino by the end of this book. I could do without Jaeger though. I just never really felt the chemistry between him and Genni and he could have been left out of the harem. I do think he was important to the story overall and his character really has come strides in this book, but I didn’t need him as a romantic interest.

The ending was perfect and I am so sad to see these characters go. I will definitely be rereading the Steel Dragons MC series, probably sooner than later!

“You’re so fucking strong, your potential stretched and reached beyond what you could have ever imagined. You’ve killed without remorse, you’ve been to Hell and basked in the warmth of fire and brimstone.”

This basically just sums up Genevieve in the best of ways. Her character has always been strong but she definitely discovers a lot about herself. She's been through Hell and back. Has completely dominated in a place where women don't usually dominate. And she gathered up 2 clubs and ran with it. She gathered a harem and made them work together when they shouldn't work together. Made Jaeger get down on his knees. This entire trilogy has been nothing but a nonstop epic ride and I can't wait for Delia's story.

It start out where the last book ended. Genevieve will discover a new enemy and many secret about her family past. Her guys will have to learn to let their Slayer do what she does best and that is love them and seek revenge sometimes on her own. Plus Jaeger will final let go and listen to his heart and join her group of guys. He will also have to adjust to life after the MC. This is an incredible ending to Slayer’s journey. I have love all the twists and turns that Chrissy throws our way. As much as hate to say goodbye to Genevieve and the guys, I can’t wait to beginning Delia’s journey next.

Absolutely loved this final book in the series. Genevieve really came into her own in this book and I loved how much she dominated.

It was amazing how this why choose came together in this book. I love a hard fought why choose where the MCs overcome their disagreements with each other, and their resistance to sharing, all to make sure their woman gets what she wants.

Diesel and Malik are absolute fire together. Seriously any scene with Malik in it is hot hot hot.

Am so intrigued to read more about Delia because she sounds bad@ss

Overall highly recommend this series.

Explosive ending to this action packed series! Genevieve has gone through so much and is about to discover things that will change her life. The battle that comes their way is one none have seen before. March and Hell band together for the epic fight. Lives will be lost, but like a Phoenix something new will rise from the ashes. Plan accordingly because once you start this you won’t be able to put it down until the very end!

So sad it’s over

I absolutely love this series. MC and RH are definitely a win in my book. Malik, Diego, Laithe, Quinton and Jaeger are quite the group of men but Genevieve handles them all like a champ. I was a bit shocked by how everything ended, but I enjoyed it very much. I do wish we got a better scene with two of the men (if ya know, ya know)… maybe a bonus epilogue? Hint hint 😏 . I am very much looking forward to the next series in this world.

Dragon's Scorch is the third and final book in the Steel Dragons MC series. This is not a standalone and MUST be read from the beginning.

What an intense ride this was!! I have to admit, it took me a tiny bit to get into but DAMN!! Definitely worth the read!! I've loved Genni from the beginning but her growth was absolutely phenomenal!! There's plenty of action, development, spice, and twist and turns to keep you entertained!! Definitely a must read series!!

SO GOOD!!! So much action and WTF moments in this book. The secrets that come out😱 One of my favorite parts of this books was reading all these men grovel for Genni, as they should! I really didn’t like Jaeger but let me tell you that man has my heart now!! Jaeger definitely showed her in actions that he’s sorry and earned her forgiveness. Let’s talk about the spice… HOLY MOTHER OF SPICE🥵 There is a scene that involves a belt with Jaeger, Chino, and Genni that made me laugh and then turned really hot! I’m so sad for this to end but I’m even more excited ti read Delia’s duet😏

MC
TURF WARS
STRONG FMC
REVERSE HAREM
MMMFMM
ENEMIES TO LOVERS
STEP SIBLINGS
REVENGE
