Wiping Terra’s debt off the books comes with conditions, like a hulking alien in her home… and in her bed
Terra Cooper’s boyfriend did her dirty – he stole her intellectual property and left her drowning in debt. Now she has the offer of a lifetime to wipe out all her debt. What sane person would refuse?
Of course, she has to accept the hard one, that aliens are among us and two, her huge paycheck means she has to pretend to be married to one. No big deal, right? Wrong .
Reade Ammon has his own problems
Arrogant, playboy son of Lord Governor of the Planet Centuria, Reade just wants to lay low after a business deal went very bad. Agreeing to a fake marriage with an Earthling will protect him, even though hiding on Earth instead of defending himself is torture.
But when things go wrong, he must call on his warrior nature once more, only to discover the human has more fight in her than he thought. Maybe this human is more interesting than he gave her credit for…
Rachel Ellyn writes sharp, character-driven fiction that blends emotional depth, sly humor, and twisty suspense. After early work in children’s fiction and flash fiction, she found her stride crafting romantic suspense, comedic mysteries, and women’s psychological thrillers—with a dash of spice when the story demands it.
A lifelong observer of human nature (and questionable life choices), Rachel draws inspiration from her own adventures: several marriages, countless reinventions, and a hard-won understanding of what it means to “grow where you’re planted.”
Her voice is warm, witty, and unapologetically honest, earning her devoted readers across multiple genres.
Rachel currently lives in La Paz, BCS, Mexico, happily married to husband number four, the love of the rest of her life—and she means it this time.
This was my first alien erotica book. Wow! It's definitely spicy! I especially liked the way the story started. (If in fact there were aliens on Earth, you can see how this premise of a protection program is plausible in order to avoid total panic.) The interesting plot immediately grabbed my attention and then I just hung on for a wild ride. Fun afternoon read!
If I hadn’t had to get some work done, I wouldn’t have put this down. Not my typical “read” but I liked it. Escape for a bit within the pages of this book.
The book was good so far... But not knowing that it was going to be several books, I wouldn't have gotten it. I don't like this type of books. That's why I gave it only 3 stars
Oh this was good, witness protection for aliens . The storyline was great and so was the action, loved the attitudes. This is just the beginning of the story, can't wait for the rest.
