I didn't think it was possible, but the Vol. 4 manages to elevate the madness of the series to new heights, blending outrageous heists with some of the most heartwarming and hilarious moments between Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon. If you're looking for a perfect mix of action, humor, and a glimpse of the deep bonds that hold this chaotic trio together, this volume is an absolute must-read.
In this volume, the gang is as unstoppable as ever. But what really stands out is how their friendship is explored in deeper, subtler ways. The trio may steal, fight, and run from Zaza (who is relentless as always), but their loyalty to each other is clear through every page. The way they work together during the heists, cover each other's backs, and handle the dangers they face is something that, despite all the chaos, speaks volumes about their relationship. They may argue, joke, and bicker, but in the end, they’re family, and it’s those moments that give the series its heart.
Chapter 31, titled "Strange Bedfellows," really captures this dynamic. At first glance, it’s a typical Lupin caper—quirky, fast-paced, and utterly ridiculous—but beneath the surface, there's an incredible amount of character depth. The gang’s chemistry is on full display here.
