Leia has every intention of sacrificing herself to her father's political ambitions by marrying a guy she barely knows and feels nothing for. But one drunken night with her best friend changes everything. Wade has always had feelings for Leia, but standing idly by while she marries someone else is definitely not in his plans. He's going to do everything he can to get the girl he's always wanted, but the sins of the father always have a way to screw up even the best laid plans.
What a fantastic ride! The storyline is interesting and intricate with tons of suspense. Intrigue coming from every direction: long lost mother's popping up, mysterious groups pulling political strings, and don't forget the mystery of who killed Bree is still left to unravel. The character development is fantastic and Leia and Wade compliment each other in the best of ways. Leia is a good girl who is loyal to her core and while Wade plays by his own rules, his loyalty to the ones he loves is unrivaled as well. There's such a great cast of characters like Shelby who completely cracked me up. Can't wait to see how everything plays out, because eventually, secrets will be revealed. Can't wait!
Testing Limits is the 3rd book in the Corrupt Cowboys series and ends on a cliffy. It is told in first person, from multiple perspectives. I would highly recommend reading these books in series order, although not entirely necessary.

Every time I read this author I know it’s going to be one heck of a ride! I was twisted and conflicted with how I felt about some of the characters and then I gain clarity only to be reminded that this author loves to torture us and then the book ends…… I can’t wait to read the second half of this dual!!!

Testing Limits picks up as No Limits ended, with a surprise visitor to Carson Ranch. Will this visitor be welcomed?
But more importantly, can Wade keep Leia from marrying a Mason. I was not disappointed in this book at all! As with all the books in this series, I could not put the book down. The secrets and twists were expected, but not these secrets and twists. This is a duet, and I cannot wait for the second part after this ride.

What is it with these boys that seem to get their head stuck in their ass for the better part of the books? They want, they don't want, they suffer, they provoke suffering...This one gave me whiplash... But it was so fun to read. Anyone with the feeling that Caleb isn't just what it seems to be?

There are more twist and turns in this series than there are on a roller coaster. Just when you think k you know what’s coming, Emma Creed whips the rug from under you and leaves you wanting more. The burning question is..,will Wade and Leia get their happy ending or will the actions of others keep them apart?

I couldn't love Wade and Leia more if I tried! Wade is swoon-worthy with his overprotective nature and attentiveness toward Leia. She is so loved but doesn't even realize it.
Their story is perfect and heartbreaking all at the same time! I couldn't believe the revelations that took place in this book! I went from happy, to sad, to crying, to almost throwing my Kindle. I cannot wait for the conclusion of their story!

Trying desperately to remain calm for book 4 in the series. In books 1 and 2, we were introduced to the Carson brothers, focusing primarily on Garrett and his love interest, Maisie. Now.. after being teased through those books about Wade Carson, we finally get part 1 of his duet. His love for Leia is what poets talk about… what everyone burns for. And yes, because it’s Wade, you also get a bit of comic relief here and there.
The Carson brothers are known for their strength and fierce loyalty, but also for their strong distaste of the Mason family. When Wade’s best friend, and true love, Leia Walker, is set to marry Caleb Mason, Wade knows that this wedding cannot happen. He doesn’t trust Caleb, or anyone else in his family, and believes that Leia will be in danger if she becomes a Mason. But Leia knows that if she doesn’t go through with the marriage to Caleb (even though she doesn’t have feelings for him), she knows that there will be dire consequences for those she loves. This arranged/forced marriage is thrust upon her by her own family and she knows she can’t back out… even if her heart is not with Caleb, but with her childhood best friend. But she’s a stubborn and feisty one… and something tells me she won’t go down easy.
Part 1 of Wade and Leia’s story is a helluva page turner. These boys continue to nestle their way into my heart. There are parts of this story that reach out and warm my heart, and other parts that make me ache and weep for the characters. Emma is gifted in the area of world, plot, and character development, and Testing Limits is no exception to this. Make it a point to make the Carson Ranch your home as well. You won’t regret it. Highly recommend!

I loved this book more than I expected. Leia was ungodly annoying to me in the first two books in this series. I couldn’t figure out how she couldn’t see that Wade was in love with her, plus he’s super hot. It turns out Leia has a lot of reasons for being so distracted. There’s a lot going on in this book. People come back to town out of the blue, solving a murder mystery, and how the power struggles of three families greatly impact the happiness and lives of the “kids.” Leia and Wade are clearly meant to be together, but lord will you want to scream at Wade at the end of this book. It’s a bit of a cliffhanger, and though we’ve learned a lot of new information - there’s still so much more to come in the second half of this duet. My only complaint is that the spice level wasn’t where it usually is for these books.

I just love the Carson brothers and their band of merry men who work to keep their ranch and their family as a unit.
Wade and Leia have been friends for years so the change of status in their relationship is not uncommon BUT this is one of the best friends to lovers book that I've read!
Of course the Carsons are still striving to unravel clues to past events, so it won't surprise any reader when they have more questions than answers by the end of this latest Corrupt Cowboys novel.
As expected if you've read any of the others in this series, Emma Creed successfully leaves you wanting even more.
More Wade and Leia, more Garrett and Maisie, more babies....in fact, just more!

Another great book in this Corrupt Cowboys series! I was anticipating Wade’s story to be good, but damn you’ve got me obsessed! Leia & Wade’s story is my favorite so far. Wade’s unrequited love has been heartbreaking and so emotional to read about. Also damn this secretive town that sprinkles lies everywhere and pushes for arranged marriages! I can’t wait to see the corrupt men get their comeuppance! I need the next book so much! Thanks for that cliffhanger…I’ll just be here “patiently” waiting.

So as we’ve already read in books 1&2, Wade has loved Leia since they were young but has made sure she didn’t know as he’s older than her, but now she’s set to marry Caleb and he now wants to ‘claim his woman’
Leia, is set to marry a man she’s doesn’t love, all for her love of her dad
Leia needs a night out and ends up getting drunk with Wade and as they both can’t drive home, end up staying in a motel….then…..🥵🥵🥵
The next morning Leia flees without knowing how Wade really feels about her…..
And then throw into the mix the reasons of why she’s to be married off, the Carson’s mum making an appearance and finding out who got Bree (god rest her soul) pregnant makes for one hell of an AMZING EMOTIONAL READ!!!!!!

Wow! Wade and Leila’s story is fire. There is action, drama, secrets and sexy times. Wade is so broody and intense. He is so good with Leia and I hate that they have to sneak around to see each other. Leia feels she has to marry Wade’s rival to help her father. We are left with a cliffy and I can’t wait for the continuation!!

Test Limits picks up right where No Limits left off! Both Leia & Wade have been circling each other for a while and they've been too stubborn to admit their feelings. More on her side than his.
This book totally exploded my mind! So many twists and turns and I didn't realize the depth to Wade who has always been the rodeo star fun guy. The drama in this series...holy cow!
I don't want to give too much away but one thing I will say is I despise Leia's parents. Both of them need a Carson style whipping. While Cole has a piece of my heart and I just want to hold him. Or maybe have a him and Noah sandwich.
Last but not least, the party was an absolute dream come true! IYKYK or read it and find out!

We're back in the Carson world,and it's the turn of Leia and Wade. A guy who's been in love with this girl ever since she pushed him against the wall at school lol Leia is already promised to someone else,but not in her best interests,but other peoples...although it's plainfully obvious the attraction between her and Wade,the stolen moments,the push and pull,the heat when they're in each others arms,he is determined to make her what he has always envisioned in his heart and his mind....HIS.
The war between the Carson's and Mason's doesn't look to be ceasing any time soon,there are so many secrets and lies to contend with,and so much hurt ,it makes you think will this ever end?? Wade and his brothers also have to deal with their mother reappearing after years of lost time and memories,and of course in true Emma style,she puts her characters through their paces and brings all of the feels from beginning to end which I love. This does end on a cliffhanger so it's a given you need to read book 4! Can't wait!

The faud continues between the Carsons and Masons, Testing limits kicks it up a notch, its dark, dangerous and dirty with secrets that I did not see coming, never in my wildest imagination would I have ever been able to work it out and it shocked me to my core.
The emotional rollercoaster this book took me on made my head spin. It's filled with love, loss, and heartache, I could not get enough.
It's left me with more questions than answers, I can not wait for more to find out what happens.

Another out standing book by Emma Creed! I love how everything flowed together from the last book! Not to spoil it for everyone, but I hope the wedding gets stopped or if anything the truth finally comes out about Leia's dad! And Wade will finally have his true love. I'm still curious about the mom, why come back after 20 plus years and the fact she freaked when she seen Finn, only leaves us with all kinds of questions! Looking forward to the next addition!!

Wow! This book had so many twists and turns that you didn’t see coming! As this is a duet, you are left with many questions and I can’t wait for the next one! We do get to find out what happened to Bree and it was not who I thought it was. I do hope Wade gets his HEA but will it happen?.

Oh my gosh, does Emma know how to rip at your heart but in a great way lol!!! This is Wade and Leia's story and it's steamy but action packed and full of drama and secrets galore! I don't want to say too much bc I don't want to give away anything. But if you've loved the first 2 in this series or her MC series......you won't want to miss this one!!

Wade!!! Gah! I could not put this book down and devoured it over the weekend. I looooved Wade and Leia! His devotion to her and love for her is just perfection. I’m like everyone else, I can’t believe she didn’t see it all along! But I’m so glad she’s finally catching on. They are amazing together. I love that they were besties first. So excited to see how this all plays out for them!!

Leia and Wade, OMG! The Carson ranch saga continues with more secrets revealed and even more twists and turns. Emma Creed writes so well that you are genuinely surprised when you look and see you're almost to the end. Again another cliff hanger and I can't wait for book 4.
