Could an ordinary man from modern day Earth change the fate of an entire world?
Coach Duncan Hawkwind is transported to another world by a corrupted spell. Equal parts confused and terrified, he finds himself in a dungeon with three menacing strangers, one very confused mage and a still-warm corpse as screaming creatures scratch at the door, intent on devouring everyone in the room.
Still reeling and full of questions, Duncan is convinced to help the strangers (and himself) out of their dire predicament.
What he doesn't know is that he will soon face a danger that will make this situation seem like a pleasant walk in the park. A danger embodied by a reawakened evil that threatens to destroy an entire world ... and, as it turns out, an evil that only Duncan, the Outsider , can defeat.

"This is a sword and sorcery epic with a healthy dose of humor that fans of Dungeons and Dragons will love- I know I did!"- Scott Medbury author of America Falls
I was born and raised in Hobart, Tasmania (yes, where the devils are from).
I’m spending a brief tenure on Earth before I head off to another planet. I haven’t yet decided which one.
For now, I live on Earth.
I write stories (I make stuff up and write it down).
I read a lot.
I also played and coached cricket. The stories of my past cricketing achievements are usually my best fiction works.
I've written a few books, but now I've unpublished them and am re-releasing them! I’ve become a much better writer and I’ve been given an opportunity to redo these books, to present them as I would have liked to have done them originally.
In my spare time, I love jogging, bushwalking, and playing the guitar and bass guitar badly.
Got a little less than halfway through and quit. I don't care about a story involving a main character who is a sheep. This is not someone who I remotely care to read about.
A cracking first book full of fighting belligerent dwarves busty damsels a picture of a rat plus intrigue, what has befallen our poor protagonist you must read and find out.
I found the premise intriguing and the characters had potential but the writing style was basic at best. I completed 62% of the book before deciding it was not worth my time.
