This young children's book has a clear message as you read it. Don't let fear make you unable to do what you need to or want to do. The little snail was trying to fly like the butterfly, that was his goal. He struggled everyday to overcome his fear and the butterfly asks why?
My 8 year old loved the book about the butterfly and the snail. She did laugh at the ending of how the snail flew and was pleasantly surprised but then said 'Mom, that is not very realistic.' Well that is my honest kid reviewer for you. LOL. The illustrations were so cute and well done too!
