Maeve grew up with one rule: stay a virgin, or your marriage contract will be voided. It caused her to shut down and shut everyone out rather than risk her heart for something she could never have. Her first semester at Elmwood changed everything, bringing both friendships and heartache. When she finds out her intended husband is her frenemy Bennett, and that he knows a secret that could ruin their lives, both of them have to figure out what is it they want, and how they fell under each other's spell.
This was done really well for the length of the book as I absolutely hated Bennett at one point. I like the fact they did the arranged marriages from years ago which can happen for allegiances
Maeve was a lovely MC quiet and reserved but Bennett brought out another side of her
Bennett and Maeve are arranged to be married because of some conflict their families have but at the same time Bennetts dad wants him to sabotage it for a bigger pay out....what better way than to become secret pen pals, seduce her and then break her trust 😅
