An avid daydreamer, Laroux has always had a story to tell, whether it be an animated recount of actual events, or a wonderous tale of adventure and romance. She creates vibrant, complex characters who feel more like friends than mere words on a page.

Growing up, Laroux devoured every book in her reach, but never truly felt represented by the characters in the stories she loved. In turn, she chooses to portray that representation in her own works, with women-loving-women characters and the exploration of consensual non-monogamy and polyamory.

Women-loving-women shine in Laroux's works, often in intense pairings with scorching hot chemistry, or within polyamorous dynamics that smash the love triangle cliché to pieces and beg the question, why can't we love both?

When she isn't writing, Laroux enjoys being outdoors under the Australian sun, taking her dogs to the beach, and spending time with her favourite people.

I have read quite a few polyamorous stories and sapphic stories but nothing has compared to this one. This story is beautifully written. It had me hooked from the beginning and the drama was realistic. Loved that the changes in POV weren’t redundant and added to the progression. Highly recommend giving this a read.

I do like the spice but i missed some plot elements. I felt like it was only spice. The break up was predictable but overal the book was fine.
