Part of a Series: This whole thing is a series called The Minnesota Marshalls; also part of Susan May Warren's interconnected books.
Thoughts:
So... The only reason I read the whole series was because I heard they were all really interconnected. I wanted to read the last book, but I didn't want to be confused and missing things the whole book. And I am glad that I read them. It was confusing, with all the characters, and references to previous book (Susan May Warren has a bunch of different series that are all connected) but still really, really good! There is romance, all clean of course, danger, excitement, princesses, bodyguards (a must), and a whole lot more. I think I understand how it all fit together, but not fully, which makes this the perfect series to re-read.
I know that I read these really fast so maybe next time I can slow done some, now that I know what happens, and catch everything I missed.
Favorite character, part, quote.
Characters: Creed, Hudson, and York (Yes, I know that he bearly shows up. He was actually in the book for only a few pages, but with that and the references... I know I like him. He loves the Lord.)
Quotes: ... Since I borrowed the books, and already returned all but the last... You'll only get one quote.
"We need a travel ban on anyone named Marshall"
That one quote basically explains the whole confusion of all the Marshalls, what they do, and all the trouble they get into.
Part: Um... Anytime the parents are in the scene... They give good advice.
Bible Verse:
Luke 14:26-27 KJV
[26] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. [27] And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
