Bueno últimamente he estado leyendo bastante sexo sin historia, y me molesta, porque aunque hay libros que directamente sabes que te están ofreciendo smut y ya, pues aún así se espera un mínimo de calidad, o MÍNIMO un Smit que no de cringe.

Creo que de toda la basura que he leído últimamente ésta es la que más ha valido la pena, si tiene escenas que me siguen dando cringe pero son más tenues, y al menos hay un poquito de historia, nos contextualizan y shalala.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. This was a new to me author, and I can say it will not be the last of their books that I read. Mr Macan is as your expect from the Title, one hot older guy who's not only sweet in his own way but will have you salivating. Aileen & Mr Macan's story is definitely short and spicy. Recommend!

Aileen is trapped in an abusive arranged marriage. Her fiancé constantly belittles her to boost his own ego, knowing that she can’t do anything about it due to his father paying off her family’s dept. Looking for an escape, she agrees to cover for her friend at a burlesque club after finding her injured and unable to perform. There she meets a masked stranger who catches all of her attention, and when he offers to pay for a private dance, she agrees. What she doesn’t know that under the mask is none other than her future father-in-law, Angus.

I’m familiar with this authors writing as I have read most of her books. This is one of her tamer stories and a great start for those who are interested in reading her books. As this story is only 201 pages, it doesn’t focus much on plot and more on the spice that happens between Angus and Aileen.

There was a bit of repetitiveness regarding Declan’s behaviour towards Aileen but then again, it helped highlight the vas difference between father and son. While Declan was cruel and degrading, Angus offered up support and comfort in moments where Aileen felt venerable.
In the end, Declan somewhat changed his ways after being sent off to university but we never saw any type of retribution for his actions.

I do wish we got a book on Sean. His character drew me in first and I think it was because we were introduced to the man in white (Sean) before the man in the burgundy (Angus). I was hoping that he was going to join in with Angus and Aileen during their private room scene but all he did was watch 🫠
We did get a book similar to this one called "Dinner with Daddy" but unfortunately, he's not the MMC.

This story ends with a HEA for this couple 🥰

Epilogue - 3 Months Later
Aileen and Angus have just gotten married. After Declan found out about their involvement with each other, he tried to get them broken up by spreading rumours about them. He told Aileen's parents that she was a cheating gold digger, seduced Angus for financial gain and that she was gang-banged by 4 men. Once Angus proved that Declan was lying, he tried to break them up again by telling everyone that Angus 🍆💦 Aileen in front of the entire club. When everyone laughed him off, he ran and told his grandfather who didn't find it very amusing (He's the head of the Irish mob). Instead of breaking them up, he demanded that they get married as there was video-graphic proof of the encounter. Declan's plan to get them broken up backfired on him and he was sent off to university, where he's training to became a mafia accountant.
He makes an appearance at their wedding and apologies for his actions towards Aileen and his father. He's now moved on from her and is dating someone new. Aileen invites him inside to join in with the wedding and he agrees.

Although a relatively quick read this book was hot!

The main female character is Aileen. She’s a young curvy woman; smart, kind, creative, beautiful. When her fathers business goes bust she agrees to an arranged marriage in return for her fiancés father saving her dads business.

Her fiancé Declan is the complete opposite of Aileen in every way - selfish, egotistical, cruel. His favourite things are drugs, money, women and humiliating Aileen telling her she’s fat and ugly. He’s decimated her self esteem and confidence.

After her friend has an accident leaving her unable to dance Aileen begrudgingly agrees to dance in her place at a burlesque club. What follows is pages of adoration, appreciation, praise, sexuality, spice and realisation. Realisation that Declan is wrong. Aileen is beautiful, she’s sexy and she’s wanted, she’s also got major voyeuristic tendencies. This book does a great job of building her up and making her entire burlesque experience sexy and sensual whilst rebuilding her confidence and making her soar, and I was loving every minute of it - it was hot.

Add in the introduction of her future father in law and things just get even hotter. If she felt wanted whilst doing her dance on the main stage he magnified it by a million. The chemistry between the two is off the charts.

If you’re looking for a hot and spicy read with an age gap, a curvy female lead and the adoration of her curves this book is for you!

I absolutely loved that her fiancé, courtesy of an arranged marriage, turned out to be a douchebag rich boy who treated her like absolute crap. Because honestly? His loss was everyone else’s gain. 😏 And who better to step in and take care of her than said douchebag’s dad? 👀

And boy… did he take care of her. 🥵

The spice was spicing, y’all. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Every time I read a book with voyeurism, I swear it pushes me further and further into that particular kink. 😂 Too bad my own hubby doesn’t give a damn about helping me explore that one. Sir, please step up to the assignment. 🤣🙄

And THAT BED SCENE. 👀🔥 The whole “please look at me” moment had me sitting there like:

My biggest complaint is that I desperately needed MORE. This book could have easily been 300–400 pages, and I would have happily devoured every single one. There was so much potential for Siggy to dig deeper into the characters, their relationship, and especially the ending.

Because that ending? Way. Too. Rushed. 🏃‍♂️💨 Like Flash Gordon had somewhere to be. 🚀😂 I needed more! More buildup, more payoff, more everything!

Despite that, this was still a fun, spicy, quick read that absolutely delivered on the heat. 🌶️🔥 If you're looking for something short, steamy, and a bit little taboo … definitely give this one a read. 😏📚

She's a diamond in the rough.   Hidden behind a timid exterior is a femme fatale.  I love the body positivity message in the story that praises her curves.  It's thrilling to see her begin to discover herself and find the hidden Goddess within.  

     🌶She is far from a vanilla type of girl in the bedroom.  With her kinks unlocked, she gives in to the pleasure she finds while performing. The story is a fast-paced and fast-burn super spicy erotic romance with some BDSM added. If you like it hot with a little taboo, this tale will have your toes curling and your heart racing!
