Knot Her Pack #1

Finding Their Omega

Rate this book
My life as a Beta is easy. Simple. Safe.
Too bad it’s all a lie…

I’ve been hiding my Omega status for years, using heat suppressors and scent blockers to keep anyone from realizing what I really am. But when the black-market pills I bought fail one night, I find myself living my worst nightmare—perfuming in a crowded club full of Alphas.

I swear I can feel every eye in the place lock on to me… but just as panic is about to set in, a gorgeous Alpha with the most enticing scent comes to my rescue.

He pretends we’re bonded, tucking me against his side and staring down every other man who approaches. And even though previous experience has made me reluctant to trust any Alpha, when this one—Ethan—offers me refuge with his pack, I can’t say no.

But the moment he leads me inside their sprawling mansion, I realize I’m in way over my head. Because the three other Alphas in his pack all smell just as delicious as he does, and more than that, they seem to want to protect and take care of me.

I’ve never been as drawn to anyone as I am to Ethan, Dante, Caleb, and Garrett. But can I let go of my old fears and accept the connection between us, or will I keep believing the lie I tell myself… that these Alphas are knot my pack?

What you’ll find between these
Sweet Omegaverse
Growly, protective men with hearts of gold
Group activities
Lots of praise
Knotting, nesting, heats, and bonding
“Touch her and die”
Billionaire Alphas who love to pamper their Omega

I think this was the first omegaverse book I read and it was so much fun. It's such a cute concept, and this book was definitely a great intro.

Ava, Dante, Ethan, Garrett and Caleb, are all so great. Yeah I mean it's not the best book in the world but it was truly lighthearted and a lot of fun to get through.

TLDR: This book is a good mix of spice and plot. Ava and her men have dreams and goals that we get to see plus lots of individual relationship building, group scenes, and heat scenes.

I love the reluctant omegas. They are just my favorite OV trope. Ava is living her life as a Beta and very disconnected from her Omega status until her illegal suppressants fail her. The government for this omegaverse forces them to register and it seems that they have to find a pack/alpha or they stay with the government, but the omegas do have final say in who they end up with. But Ava doesn't want any of that. She doesn't want to be tied to any Alphas... and so the story begins.

Ava is such a fun/intense character. She has trauma from her past and seeing her confront those demons, heal, relax, and grow all while dealing with truly being an omega for the first time made it difficult to put down. Plus the girl loves animals and wants to save all the babies - so clearly she is good people.

Then the pack. The pack that rescues Ava are four alphas who run their own tech company and want to make the world a safer place for omegas. Point one. They are rich but not obnoxious about it. Point two. And when they commit they are 100 percent fully committed. Point three. They are all great together but still stand apart. I love that each MMC gets alone time with Ava. Some OV books where the FMC is entering an established pack everything is done as a group, which is fun, but a bit muddy. This one has individual relationship building as well as lots of group activities.

Ethan - The one that rescues her. Cool, calm, and carefree. But all he really wants is a family.

Caleb - Gah. Such a little sweeeetie.

Dante - Leader of the pack. Holds the weight of his brothers, Ava, and the company on his shoulders and strives to make everyone happy. Plus he cooks for everyone. Nuff said.

Garrett - There is always a reluctant one. Although to be fair he wasn't reluctant for long. A reformed rich boy trying to do his best to be a better person. I loves him.

There is a stalkery/obsessed idiot background story for tension that I think is just the right amount of angst to keep the story moving but still leaving plenty of time for smutty scenes.

This ARC was provided to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This was really great!

Ava always thought she was a Beta, but in college she presented as an Omega. She hid her Omega status for years using black market suppressants because she didn't want to become an Alpha's property and be controlled. On a rare night out with friends her suppressants fail her and her Omega status is revealed. In comes Ethan, the gold retriever MMC of the pack, to save her. He acts like they are together and whisks her away to safety. Since she can't go back to her apartment, he offers to put her up in his pack's house until she gets on her feet. Her relationship with the pack develops from there.

Ava has trust issues. She had an abusive boyfriend in the the past and also has very negative views of the what Alpha/Omega relationships are like. The MMCs are understanding and respectful of her feelings and always put her needs before their own. The MMCs (Dante, Ethan, Caleb & Garrett) were distinctive and I could tell them apart throughout the book. There was some drama and conflict, but no angst (which is my preference). As with most Omegaverse, there was a lot of spice. The MMCs help Ava through her first heat, and there is a lot physical affection outside of that as well. Some might argue it was too much, but it felt natural and wasn't gratuitous.

There wasn't anything groundbreaking or unique about this sweet Omegaverse book, but I just enjoyed spending time with the characters so much. I wanted sweetness and spice and a good story and that's exactly what I got. I would recommend this to fans of Sinclair Kelly, Devyn Sinclair, and Alisha Williams.

🌟Brief Summary:
When I heard that Sadie Moss was writing a sweet Omegaverse, I was like…🥳💪🏻 I’m am sooooo all about this !
Until I got about half way into it and I was OVER it. So much sex… not that I don’t like sex and lots of it but damn… the book should be called Fucking Their Omega instead. Then the Super Snowflake FMC who cries constantly and really got on my last nerve by 50% in. Gosh I just got sooooo bored😩.
So here we go I’m gonna try and out a good spin on this. 🤩

Ava is an Omega in hiding she goes to extremes to keep her identity as an omega hidden. Due to a traumatic experience in her past with an ex boyfriend and Alpha. She absolutely doesn’t not want a pack or to be claimed by an alpha. She believes it will be the end of her freedom which she values above everything.

Dante, Ethan, Garrett and Caleb are a pack and are millionaires who have worked really hard to be able to provide for their Omega one day. They haven’t found one just yet but are ready for the RIGHT one whenever she might come around.

One night at a club Ava’s suppressants wears off and she is exposed. An handsome Alpha comes to her rescue. Through this act of kindness she is introduced to his whole pack where the vow to help her.

Everything is tense cause she doesn’t want to mate and they don’t want to get attached to an Omega that doesn’t want to mate/bond with their pack.

‼️ Opinion‼️:
-Ive read other sweet Omegaverse we’re I just didn’t understand the rules of that world. Since each Omegaverse seems to have their own set of rules. But I love that Sadie Moss really takes the time to lay out very clearly what those rules are for this world. It made things so much easier to understand. ✋🏻Now on the flip side of that it got to be a lot. So much over explaining and pointing out rules that it also got a bit clinical and boring.

-Gah 🥹 the way these Alphas take care of their Omegas is so sweet and beautiful 🫶🏻.
I did absolutely LOVE how amazing and sweet her men are so that’s a PLUS👍🏻.

-So it’s kinda insta-lust but it grows into love over the course of the book 💕At first none of them are sure if pursuing her is the right thing for their pack even if they are drawn to her. She is also unsure if she can trust any Alpha. Everyone has reason to proceed with caution.

-I hate to say it but there isn’t really a huge or very interesting storyline. This got really boring after the 50% mark.
It’s all about Ava being a complete Snowflake, being over sensitive, taking forever to figure out she can trust these absolutely amazing men, claiming to need independence but doing anything BUT being independent, LOTS of sex, and her harem being super amazing. I’m not sure this book needed to be so long since nothing really happened. Oh wait there was an ex boyfriend who caused drama at the very end👍🏻.

-It was very annoying that Ava put off making a decision about bonding with the men so long. I mean yeah this wasn’t a short book so I was like …. Come on already make a firm decision. 75% in on a 450pg book and by then they couldn’t have done more for her. Didn’t bond till 90% and it was syrupy sweet. Which I loved 💗 but I was SO over it by then I didn’t care 🤷🏼‍♀️.
Gah she was dragging her little snowflake feet. I mean🤯 she had already gone through a heat and they had bought her a freaking building for her business for F-sakes.

📖 Pages: 457
So very very long 🤦🏼‍♀️🥱😴

🦹🏻‍♂️ Hero:
♥️Alpha Dante- Leader of the pack deeply caring and patient
💗Alpha Ethan- confidant, sweet & outgoing
💙Alpha Caleb- sweet shy and the brains of
the pack.
💜Alpha Garrett- more reserved & Grumpy, silent and broody with a huge protective heart.
Her nickname- Little one

🦸‍♀️ Heroine:
💖Ava - Omega in hiding she a bit of a naive snowflake. She came out of an abusive relationship with and alpha and ran. She has trust issues and emotional damage from it.

💭 POV:
Multiple first person

🔥 Burn Rate:
Fast! First sex play at 17%-
Then it’s pretty full on from that point there definitely does not lack steam or sexy times
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I’m definitely not complaining (ok maybe I am a little) but it was a bit much at times and I would have like more story in-between like, maybe more than a paragraph between sex scenes. It was hot! But still…it was a lot. It was all smut. Mostly. Ok yes.

😡/😍 Angst level:
Low low low maybe at the very end there was some minor angst. Maybe.

❤️‍🔥 Sexy times & Descriptive sex:
YES oh some hot descriptive sex. 🔥🔥🔥
Get ready for group sex, threesomes and more. There’s a heat, it takes more than one or even 2 of them to please their OMEGA 😮‍💨

🌓 Push/Pull:
Definitely some push pull here because of her not wanting to mate with a pack the men are unsure and hot and cold and she is as well. But that’s over about 30%in

☠️ OW/OM Drama:
OM- her ex who was abusive comes back around and causes a bit of drama.
Zero OW 🙌🏻- love this there’s a few stars here just for that!

🤮 OW/OM Sex / Fluid or DNA Exchange:
Nope 🥳 another star!

🤬 Cheating:
Nope🥰

👰🏼‍♀️ Virgins:
Nope 🙌🏻 Ain’t no V here 🥳
-it’s been years of celibacy for her
-the men a slept with betas but they don’t do more than that cause they know they will find their Omega one day.

⛈️Separation:
Nope

Safety⚠️Triggers🗡️:
Petting - I like this a lot lol 💆🏼‍♀️
Purring - well … ok I’ll take it 🥰
Nesting - wouldn’t be a Omega without it 👏🏻
Scenting - well of course 😉
Praise kink - tell me I’m a good girl 🤭
Group sex - can’t have to many dicks 🍆
Knotting -to bad this isn’t a real thing 🥺
No MM - yay definitely not my thing in RH 😊
Cock pacifier - I need to try this 🍼
Cock warming - defiantly a fan 🙋🏼‍♀️
Kidnapping - yes! Some action finally😃

🌈Epilogue:
Yes

🥂HEA:
Yes

🤔 Closing Summery:
Gosh 😭😩 why!!! I wanted to love this! I should have loved this! It has everything I love in romance but damn it was boring and the FMC was to much of a snowflake for me. This needed more story weaved into the sex. I support sweet Omegaverse and no OW sex and no cheating so that’s why 3 stars. I wish I could give it more. I really do😢

This was okay but I couldn’t get over how unnatural everything felt. She just meets these guys after being attacked and it ready to share her deepest secrets that she’s never told anyone before. The guys do it too. Probably the second real conversation she has with Garret and they’re sharing really personal things. Everything just felt too quick and easy. It was also very insta-lust even bordering on insta-love. There was just no excitement to the story. We’re also spoon fed every little thought the author wants us to pick up on and it’s repeated multiple times (within like a page or two) really to drill the idea in. It was a fairly simple story that I just didn’t click with unfortunately.

This whole book could’ve been sent in an email…

It was painful to read. So much redundancy. The author felt she needed to describe every little explanation behind every little thought but it didn’t add anything to the story. I should’ve DNFd

The first 5 chapters I was in it and excited. But then it became an extra 47 chapters of monotony. This book could have been good but it wasn't. I think 15 out of the 52 chapters could have been cut out and no one would notice, because there was no reason for them. She could have been a strong main character but she turned into just a sex-crazed omega even though the first 5 chapters had her independent and living life, she fought against the system. Super bummed the cool girl, the powerful girl disappeared and she turned into a classic omega sex book with barely any plot! Max, you could have the whole plot done in 10 chapters, and even the Villain was a disappointment.

Nothing happens for a majority of the book except for them fucking. Was the sex good? For the most part but here’s the thing.. I need authors to choose if I’m getting 450+ pages I need something to happen. It just felt so long winded because they all knew they wanted to be together but didn’t finalize until 90% in and it’s just like you’re dragging it.

Also, I think this would’ve been better had there been gay shit! Haha sorry to the no MM in my RH stans but I want it especially in my Omegaverse books.

Meh...

I've not been really invested or captivated reading this book... Too many sexy scenes that felt put here to fill the blanks of the story. The story wasn't very original and the FMC, Ava, was a bit blank. She kept rambling about how she didn't want alphas during 50% of the book and the next 50% about how marvellous were her guys...🙄
Not a memorable book.

from nothing to something

A nice, sweet and charming read.
You get the hea and a fab story. If your looking for something simple with few men/alphas who are protective, loyal and supportive then this is your read. Ava is a late bloomer and after a dark past gets her chance to see not every alpha is a bad guy.

Look, it’s.. I don’t know how to say this, but barely anything happens in this book. Nothing really catches you, you just kind of float along with the story. There isn’t really any good tension, and when the one truly dramatic thing happens you realise how much you’ve missed actual action and actually being GRIPPED by the story.

The MMCs are all so perfect; they always say the right thing, reassuring and comforting the FMC, they’re progressive and caring, want to help the omegas of the world with their tech, perfect-perfect-perfect. The FMC presents with all the classic qualities; is vulnerable, sensitive, insecure about being loved/desired, experiences a moment of duress where she finds strength in the fact that the FMCS love her and gets herself out of aforementioned duress. A bad guy ex boyfriend who is a cookie cutter villain. I bet he even kicks puppies.

So there’s that. And meshing the characters together doesn’t really work well either. The way they are worked together in the story doesn’t do all that much. Low tension leads to only surface level drama. The characters are easily forgettable. It’s all so BLAND it’s boring. It’s like I have a feeling of crucial moments in the story really happening elsewhere? Like how the guys company experiences theft, and how that’s a really big part the story tying things together, but it’s only happening in the background, communicated through phone calls and conversations after the fact.

I would spare myself this book if I’d known, so consider this your warning.

I liked this book, but it could have been a lot shorter.
This was a fun omega read with a comfortable and familiar storyline. If you're looking for something unique you may want to keep looking, but if you want something familiar with a majority of the focus on the romance, then you will probably enjoy this book.
*Beware though, it is long. Or at least it feels that way especially during the middle portion of the book. *

I thought this was really good! it had all the aspects of an omegaverse i like. i enjoyed all the characters (although i do admit they could be somewhat more fleshed out). was it extremely original? no, but this formula/these tropes are popular for a reason. they work!

a few things were unrealistic for me, but this isn’t meant to be realistic lol. i could maintain suspended disbelief (even when they gifted her an animal shelter and she just…….. was able to own/run it when before she simply cared for the animals…)

anyways, i def recommend this!

I finished but it was just not really for me. The FMC was inconsistent and the relationships all felt a bit shallow in their formation. I skimmed through the sex scenes, which turned into !most of the book. Dropping this series.

I found the characters engaging at first but all MMC’s didn’t really have any character growth throughout the book.

It's not you maybe it's me

Four hot mates and DVP and well it was kinda boring. I'll be honest I'm a huge character reader and I found these characters so bland, paint by numbers and cardboard that I just barely finished. The story was also lackluster and strangely not compelling. I rolled my eyes constantly at their offensive joy and happiness....sigh

Tik tok has done it once again. A single quote for me to read an almost 500 page book.

Listen I’ve known about the omegaverse for quite some time but this was my first time actually reading it. And boy was it weird. I was genuinely confused why they weren’t like wolfshifter but in fact just regular people. Really weird but hey the smut was good.

The plot was all over the place. Forget third act break up whatever this was confused the fuck out of me but I was so intrigued I couldn’t stop reading.

Ethan <3 and Garrett <3

This is a solid, sweet omegaverse. It’s fairly low angst overall. The h is a late presenting omega who’s been masquerading as a beta. She had an abusive relationship with an alpha in the past so she’s determined to keep her designation hidden.

More specific spoilers below but if your just looking for general spoilers, this is a fast burn, no OW drama, some OM drama but he never stood a chance and no cheating. I’d consider this safe. Onto the spoilers.

Ava takes scent blockers and suppressants to hide her true designation. It’s going well until she has to switch to cheaper suppressants and they fail. She’s whisked away by a protective alpha to hide with his pack. The Hs here are sweet. There is one grumpy one because there always is, right. He changes his tune quickly thankfully and is not mean to her before then just grumpy.

The omega people learn of her existence and she’s forced to go with them. Despite being terrified it’s not a traumatic process. They are kind and honest. She’s able to select the pack who had rescued here before with no red tape or dramatics.

The conflict comes when they run into her old abusive alpha who’s not impressed that he didn’t get a chance to bid for her attention. He’d have never stood a chance anyway. He retaliates with corporate espionage and when that doesn’t work he falsely accuses Ava to get her arrested and then drops the charges so he can get to her before her alphas can pick her up. Of course, she’s rescued from him and we get a nice tidy HEA.

1.5. 'this omegaverse book isn't like the others!' they said. and to be fair, it isn't, but it also has a line where one of the characters says that the film 'you've got mail' is a classic alpha/omega romance. so, jail.

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Sadie Moss!

Finding Their Omega is the first book in the Knot Her Pack series and tells the story of Ava and her men, Caleb, Dante, Ethan and Garret.

I’m so happy that Sadie Moss is coming out with a new series! All the books I’ve read by her so far were amazing, and I had high expectations for this one! Finding Their Omega is a Fantasy Romance about Alphas looking for their Omega. I haven’t read this type of Romance yet, I’ve read other werewolves/shifter books, but nothing like the Alpha/Omega Romance. And I loved it. Sadie Moss did such an amazing job with this book and I really enjoyed the story and the characters!

Finding Their Omega tells the story of Ava, she’s an Omega who doesn’t want to be tied to an Alpha (pack). Caleb, Dante, Ethan and Garret are all Alphas and they are a pack together. The Alpha pack rescues Ava and that changes everything… I don’t want to say too much about the story, but I think this sums everything up. I really liked Ava, although she’s been through a lot, she still knows what she wants. The guys are all amazing, there wasn’t one that I didn’t like or didn’t like at first.

Finding Their Omega was such a good Fantasy Romance with the perfect amount of plot and spice. To be honest, I didn’t expect anything from Sadie Moss. She’s one of my favourite Reverse Harem Romance authors, and every time she comes out with a new book, I’m always excited! The Knot Her Pack series a standalone series, so I’m really excited to read about the next Omega and Alpha Pack!

I actually really enjoyed this one. I could not put it down. Omegaverse books are some of my favorites and this one hit just right. All the guys were super sweet and dominant. They each had their own flaws and things to overcome but each one seemed to compliment the fmc. It was interesting to see how things progressed and how her thought process on the whole thing changed even though she was still quite scared and unsure about how to deal with things.. She was terrified in the beginning but for good reason. The last half of the book was a whirlwind in the best kind of way. All the action and suspense had me gasping and groaning but spent about four hours reading it straight to the point where my boyfriend and roommate were asking me if I was going to be making dinner. I could seriously not put it down. The fact that it ended the way that it did was awesome. And I loved it. The action was superb. The spice was fantastic. The side characters were quite interesting as well. Everything worked out really well and every moment had a reason behind it. There were a few time skips that were placed just right and it was interesting to see how the guys interacted as a pack as well.

I actually enjoyed this book even though it had some things that weren’t perfect, but who cares right?
The story is easy and sweet and cute and fun. It might not be anything new and innovative, but that doesn’t really matter.
I feel like it was very well written, and that the emotional relationships in this book were deep immature, even though the story was somewhat simple.
I like the relationships that she had with the men, even though I feel like the writer could’ve given her a little bit of a deeper relationship with the Apex alpha Dante.
The leading lady was sometimes annoying in my opinion, but that’s just my personal opinion.
I did love that there wasn’t the forced and obligatory best friend. Because that always annoys me and there weren’t a myriad of forced secondary characters that take away the time from the relationships in the harem, which I also really appreciated.
And I could kiss the writer for not using the words smirk and slick 1 million times like per usual.
It was just an easy breezy fun read that was enjoyable.

Too little story, too much overly descriptive sex

Based on the blurb, I really thought I would like this book but, sadly I am disappointed. I loved the story in the beginning and was really invested in seeing how things went for Ava. Then, mid book, the story became all about sex. Very graphic sex. I swear to you there's soooo many chapters of sex, it becomes boring. Mind you, I am by no means a prude. I like a few steamy bedroom scenes and romance in books. But, the story just stops for a long while. Ultimately, I had to skip multiple pages just to pick up the storyline (outside the sex).
All said, the book is decent. Ava's journey is just buried in a lot of mindlessly hot, sweaty, throbbing, messy, continuous sex.

I had started the book with not many expectations and honestly was very surprised while reading. The book was a nice pace that could be on the fast side at times but was normal most of the time. Ava the fmc was a fun woman with a personality that you quickly liked. She had her insecurities but was able to overcome them with the help of the mmc's Ethan, Dante, Caleb and Garett. The boys were very easy to like. They had good personalities and all four also really wanted Ava to choose them, but even more wanted her to be happy and comfortable in her life whether it was with or without them.

This book was definitely good but what I found the only downside was that it was drawn out and that was what made it hard to be interested in reading further at times.

The description is very accurate, low angst sweetomegaverse reverse harem with high steam.

Overall, it's an enjoyable read if you are looking for something light-hearted and overloaded with 🔥.

Also, I like this author's writing style and how paragraphs flow.

However, what disappointed me was the character development. For the length of the book this could have avoided standalone RH problems where it's hard to develop that many characters in a standalone. However it was, imo, overloaded with 🔥 which got repetitive instead of building character depth. There was more telling than showing.

Any case, overall 3⭐

Listen, I’m usually a sucker for anything and everything that is an omega verse. This story started off really strongly, and I thought it was gonna be super entertaining. And in all honesty, the story was entertaining. I did get through it. But Ada is such a wet blanket that I could barely stand reading this. I understand that omega are usually soft spoken and non-confrontational and almost almost a pushover. However, there was just something about her that I just couldn’t stand. I think that my dislike for her took away from the story itself. But I say all that to say that the story is good it’s entertaining. It just was not my favorite.
