Exactly what you would expect and want when a legendary B movie maker like Ray takes a story idea from a schlock master like Ed Wood. There is a secret lab, piling bodies, some kind of creature from the sea, beautiful ladies, and a government cover up. Wish it was turned into a film way back when Wood was still around. It would have made a great one.
Basically, this book came out of a very young Ray hiring Wood at the end of his life to write a screenplay for a monster flick. Wood died before it was done, and Ray set on the story for decades, finally releasing it as a novel written by himself.
Highly recommended, a load of fun and again exactly what you want from such a crazy team up.
