Saving Savvie
Former assassin Savvie Sanders is captured by the family of one of her previous hits. She escapes but is trapped on the family's fortress island, with no way off. She puts in a call for help from her old friend, fellow assassin, Kyla Russell.

Saving Savvie by Elle James
Brotherhood Protectors: Yellowstone #6. Spinoff from original Brotherhood Protector series. Can be read as a stand-alone although there are a few characters referenced from the original series and included throughout the various stories. Mostly support and background of the organization.
Savvie is a burned-out government assassin. She’s calling it her last job and she’s going to disappear and find something else to do to make a living. But she wasn’t given all the details on this mark and now the traffickers are looking for her. Savvie calls an ex-coworker and subsequently gets help from Hunter and the Brotherhood Protectors. They vow to take the traffickers down and rescue the women that are being held. There are leaks though in the FBI, the police departments and authorities and that’s going to make the rescue very dangerous.
Fast moving action, passion and endangerment. It’s all hands on deck to get this rescue done.
Yes, formulaic, given the number of similar books in all the connected series. It’s still breathtaking to read and enjoy the action while being safe in my own home.

My heart is still racing from all of the action and suspense and I absolutely loved it!!!
Elle James has built such an incredible world with the Brotherhood Protectors and this is hands down the best addition yet!!!
These two...sigh....what can I say that will do them justice? The chemistry is off the charts! I adored Savvie and Hunter so much!!!

A beautiful trip back into the world of Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone. It’s like meeting up with old friends, where you slip back into the friendship as if you’ve never been apart.
This is one heck of a rollercoaster ride, lots of manoeuvres up and down, not to mention the heat between these two strong characters!! Fasten yourself in well because it’s gonna be a ride you won’t forget!!
Hunter carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. Guilt has seeped into every pore of his body, mind and soul over something he couldn’t have predicted, but none the less carries the guilt and failure with him.
Hunter is a strong alpha male. He has an immovable moral compass and works alongside his brothers in arms to protect those who cannot protect themselves like a well oiled machine. They moving seamlessly alongside each other, each member of the team a vital cog in the machine.
Savvie is such a badass!! She’s strong and resilient and has dedicated her life to helping rid the world of evil.
Watching her living with the pain of her past is heartbreaking. The one person in our lives who should do everything in their power to love and protect us allowed Savvie to be subjected to the atrocities that have stayed with her every day since.
Watching Hunter and Savvie work with the team to find the evil that is intent on ending Savvie’s life is heart warming and addictive.
Savvie is just as capable as Hunter and it’s a refreshing change that although he wants to protect her, he also realised that she is more than capable, maybe more so, of getting the job done as him and the guys.
This is an addictive read with lots of action and chemistry that keeps you spellbound.
As always, can’t recommend Elle James highly enough. She has once again knocked it out of the proverbial park and delivered yet another fabulous read.

I always love the strong women and men in this series. Savvie has been alone for a long time and now she is in big trouble and needs help. When Hunter and the Brotherhood Protectors come to her rescue, she is glad for the help, but doesn't want to endanger anyone else. To bring others into her problems is unthinkable, but this is so much bigger than she anticipated. Hunter has been alone for a long time too, but he has come to realize that sometimes you don't have to do it alone. Savvie is slow in accepting help, but she realizes that she will never be able to save some captive women without it. When all of this is over, she will have to move but Hunter makes it very tempting to stay in one spot. Can she do that? Her friend has and Savvie isn't sure she will be able to do that too. Could she stay with Hunter?

This book is a compelling blend of brutal intensity, raw emotion and sharp poignancy. Savvie and Hunter's story seizes you by the throat, steals your breath and squeezes your heart. Thrilling action and danger have your pulse racing, while the romance and heat cause serious amounts of heart melting, feels and swoon. This is my freely posted frank review.

When she calls on her friend she gets to meet Hunter who is one of the Yellowstone Brotherhood Protectors. A fast moving, adrenaline filled story commences as they take down the bad guys while falling in love.

Saving Savvie: Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone: Book 6 is by Elle James.
Savannah was an assassin. She had been recruited at a low point in her life when she didn't care what happened to her. She worked for a company that got rid of "bad" men when no other means worked. She took them at their word that they needed killing. However, she was now tired of the nomad life and tired of killing. She wasn't sure they were getting the right people. Her "last" assignment, although her employers didn't know it yet, was to kill Marcus Caldwell. He was a playboy who funded his lifestyle by selling women into slavery. She had no regrets in getting rid of a man like him. However, mistakes were made and Savvie was nearly killed and then left witnesses. She also learned that Marcus was just a pawn and the ringleader was still loose.
Since she was trapped on an island, she called the only person she knew who could help, her former assassin, Kyla. Kyla had gotten out and was living a free, normal life so why couldn't she. Kyla had no hesitation in helping Savvie get off the island to safety and then help her, despite the fact that she was largely pregnant. Her husband, Stone, didn't hesitate to support Kyla as did his partner Hunter. Despite her being eight months pregnant, Kyla insisted on going to Florida with them, although she did agree to stay on the plane.
Stone and Hunter managed to get past the police and onto the island where they searche for Savvie. Their password to her was "delivering pizza". They managed to find her and then find their way off the island and on her way to Colorado.
When they realized the extend of the trafficking organization, the men decided to hunt where the women were being held and release them before they were sold. With the help of Hank Patterson, his organization, and two squads of the Brotherhood, they set off for Florida to rescue at least this one group of woemn who were captured. It is going to take all their skills to make this happen without killing someone. Will this be possible?

One last mission as an assassin.... Not the typical way a book begins:) But Elle James sure likes to catch our attention. Saving Savvie is Book 6 in her Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone Series . Savvie is a gov't sponsered assassin on her last mission-which of course it means it goes upside-down . Luckily she has a friend called Kyla (from a previous story) who is married to Stone, the head of the Yellowstone branch of Brothers. So help is only a phone call away. Enter Hunter, the protector sent to extract her from her bad situation. But it's never that simple and while Savvie gets saved, now the Yellowstone Protectors have to help her rescue a bunch of women that she discovered were going to be trafficked. A fun story that brings back old friends like Stone and Kyla, as well as Hank, my favorite head honcho that started the Brotherhood Protectors. It's a great, easy read. Enough adventure and plot to be interesting but not so complicated as to bog you down. And Savvie and Hunter are such a perfect couple, having similar experiences in their past, that you can't help rooting for them. Who knew trying to retire could be so fun! I received an ARC of the story for my honest opinion.

I loved that this book started out with action, danger, and suspense. Savvie proved to be not only strong, intelligent, quick witted, inventive, and well, savvy.
I liked that Hunter didn't blink at the knowledge of Savvie being an assassin. No hesitation at all in his interest or attraction.
I also appreciated that ALL of the Brotherhood Protectors were all in on this mission. Savvy got a taste of what it meant to no longer be the lone wolf, and be part of a team.
With Hunter and Savvy having so much in common with their past traumas, it seemed inevitable they would end up together. They had good chemistry.
I really liked the commitment Savvy had to the team when she stepped up for them during the mission. This book really had almost non-stop action, even down to Swede's issues. I thought the ending was also a nice touch. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a fast paced read full of action and suspense.

Talk about a roller coaster of emotion and danger This is a story in which anything that could go wrong does wrong but in the middle of it two people who don't think they are entitled to love and a future may just find it.
Savvie Sanders past comes back to haunt her when she is captured b the family of one of her previous kills as an assassin for a government agency needing help she contacts one of her former team mates Kyla Russell who sends in the Brotherhood Protectors They soon have her but as her and one of the team are separated the rest are captured. Hunter a member of the Yellowstone team has always held himself a little apart after all he knows he can't be trusted because he caused the death of his teenage sweetheart but now he will have to work with Savvie if he hopes to rescue his team and even though his instinct is to protect Savvie he will have to admit that she is just as good as him if not better. Can they save his friend can they bring the human traffickers down and can they have a furze. You will have to read to see

When Savvie, an assassin, calls Kyla for help after a botched mission, no one hesitates to get her out of Miami safely. There is a hunt for her and it seems no matter what she tries, the bad guys are right behind her. When she finally lands safely in Yellowstone with the help from Hunter, Stone and Kyla, she can’t help but want to go right back and save those other women who were kidnapped. The BH pools their resources and gets ready to go back and while they wait both Hunter and Savvie can’t help but fall into each other. Her past and his may stop them from moving forward if they don’t survive the mess she has gotten into.
A good read with suspense, surprises, good characters and action. I liked these two, no drama between them and how they opened up to each other revealing their secrets. I would have liked more of a wrap up on her handler and the Miami situation, considering who they were up against. I did like their epilogue and what is to come for another member of the BH.

Intense and easy-flowing with lots of action, realistic characters, and a nice update on the Keystone Brotherhood Protectors family.
Suspense and intensity are provided through mission and retaliation scenes but are balanced by the warm Brotherhood interpersonal interactions, Kayla’s end-term pregnancy, and the instant attraction/acceptance romance between grieving and determinedly single Brotherhood sharpshooter operative Hunter with the dissatisfied and lonely retiring US secret assassin Savvie.
When secret US assassin Savvie’s last mission to take out Mafia son and human trafficker Marcus Caldwell produces feelings of warning, she contacts her former trainee friend Kayla, who arrives in Florida pregnant and with Stone and Hunter as backup.

Saving Savvie is an excellent romantic suspense by Elle James. Ms. James has once again provided readers with a well-written book that I couldn't put down. The cast of characters makes this book fun to read. Savvie is a government-sanctioned assassin. When her last kill turns into a mess she reaches out to her friend for extraction help. Hunter works for the Brotherhood Protectors and flys to Florida with his boss to help get Savvie out of the state. Savvie and Hunter's story is loaded with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to my next book by Elle James. Saving Savvie is book 6 of the Brotherhood Protectors: Yellowstone Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

Hunter and Savvie are a perfect pairing. She carried the weight of her guilt as an assassin around with her and even when she tried to quit, her employer doesn't want to let her go. Hunter loved and lost once, the next time he tried, she betrayed him. So now he thinks loves not for him - even though those around him keep falling right into relationships!
Hunter has a firm code of ethics and he can see that Savvie's job was just as important as his - even if she thinks she's nothing more than a gun for hire. Savvie doesn't think she can fall for anyone either because of her traumatic past but they are just what the other needs to smooth all those ragged edges.
Savvie is the kind of tough, determined, disciplined and slightly dinged-up heroine I love to read about getting her HEA. She needs someone who won't try to walk over her, but not capitulate to her dominant personality either.

Starts with an assassination and so many questions when the job goes wrong. Loved the tenacity, intelligence and strength that Savvie has. When the job goes wrong and she reaches out to Kayla the Brotherhoods come to assist. Not to the rescue as Savvie is capable in her own right. Neither Hunter(our chosen Brotherhood) nor Kayla are into romance and HEA, besides there are women waiting to be rescued. They plan and in their planning stages there is a jaw dropping moment which goes to show, even our Brotherhood are fallible. When they take the steps to mount a rescue it is not easy, nor smooth. Plenty of intrigue and thrills to keep you riveted to the page. Savvie Sanders is an assassin for the government. When she is sent out on her last assignment too many things start to not add up. What she uncovers puts her in danger and she knows that anyone who helps her will become a target. Needing help and having no one else to call she calls Kayla a former teammate and wife to Stone the leader of the Brotherhood Protectors of Yellowstone. After hearing her story Hunter, Stone and all the Brotherhood Protectors know they have to help her find and rescue the victims of what she has uncovered. Both Hunter and Savvie feel an attraction to each other, but being the strong independent types they will have to find a way to open up with each other and to the possibilities of finding their HEA. It is always nice to spend time with the Brotherhood Protectors.

Can you imagine being an assassin for the government that will not come to your aid, or admit you work for them? That is what Savvie was recruited for after she couldn’t meet the requirements of the armed services. She had to kill her step-father who was a monster that was beating her mom to death. She has decided that she wants out and that this will be her last job of taking out the worst of the worst. When everything goes wrong, she killed her mark but his men saw her and now they are after her. She calls on her friend for help. When the help gets there, they find a way to get out of Miami and Hunter and the Brotherhood Protectors vow to keep her safe and take down the rest of the human traffickers. I recommend this book. It’s a great addition to the series.

Savvie works for a CIA assassin agency. She is in Miami to kill a human trafficking scumbag. The hit doesn’t go off perfectly. Savvie wants out of the game. She contacts Kyla who she knew in training. Now part of the Brotherhood Protectors in Yellowstone Kyla, her husband Stone and Hunter fly to Miami to assist Savvie.
Hunter and Stone get Savvie out of Miami.
In Yellowstone Savvie repeats that before the hit she overheard a sale was getting ready to go down. With Hank and Swede up working on intel with eight months pregnant Kyla, they plan to stop the sale.

Saving Savvie by Elle James is book #8 in the Brotherhood Protectors Yellowstone steries. Wow! This was really scary! Close calls! You know things are bad when two teams of Brotherhood Protectors are needed to get the job done. I loved all the action. Pulse-pounding. I really liked the two main characters, Savvie and Hunter. Both were so anti-relationship and love until they met each other. It was great getting to see so many characters from past Brotherhood Protectors books. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is book six of the Yellowstone Brotherhood protectors’ exciting series. I loved everything about this book. I loved the courage of the female heroine and her ability to overcome her issues but mostly I was charmed by the overwhelming passion between Savvie and Hunter. They were the perfect match, even if Savvie initially convinced herself that she didn’t deserve love. The plot of the book is challenging but it doesn’t shift the attention from the main story that is the attraction between the main characters. I can honestly say that this is absolutely my favorite among the other books of the series and it is really a story worth reading.

Always a pleasure to read this series, I dive right into the Brotherhood Protectors tales like I'm coming home.
Savvie is an assassin, hired by a secret Gov agency and yet she's on her own if anything happens.
Human trafficking, what a disgusting crime. Savvie lets herself be caught so she can take this creep down. Slightly botched and she's on the run to save her own life. In come the heroes to try and save the day.
Plenty of drama and action in this story....of course there is romance too as attraction takes hold.
You can read any of these books alone, buuut why would you want to :) Absolutely loved it.

This book was very similar to Saving Kyla. They were both assassins and burned by people they trusted.
The book was okay, but I liked other books in this series much better. The insta love was crazy. They only knew each other for a couple of days and Hunter was ready for more.
When in Miami, were not worried about fingerprints left on the wave runner or rental car? In the first part of the book Kyla was Stone's fiance. But later in the book she was his wife. Which was it?
I did not like the ending. Was the baby a boy or girl? I have read later books in the series but don't remember if a baby was mentioned.
A quick read.

Changing paths
Savvie and Hunter. One of Kyla’s old friends needs help. With the same profession and wanting to retire she finds herself in danger and Stone and Hunter save her just in time. As she settles down from that almost bad ending, she realizes that others are still in danger and the mission was not as clear cut as thought. She and Hunter realize they have feelings for each other and that they both have a trauma from their teen years that impacted them greatly. The team comes together to fix the wrongs that Savvie figured out and help each other. Kyla’s family growth had a major moment at the end and Savvie and Hunter got their HEA. A cute and quick read.

Ok, what a way to start a story. This story is about Hunter and Savvie. The beginning will definitely get your heart pumping a little faster. Savvie is definitely a strong woman and finds it a little hard to believe she could fall in love. Both have similar pasts in common. Rescuing captured women is much better suited for Savvie. Glad the majority of the bad guys were captured. Don't you just love happy ending? Oh, too bad we don't get to read about Kyla giving birth. FANTASTIC job Elle! I would recommend this book!
