KB!!!!! Assignment under-fking-stood!!!! Y’all!!! 🥹🥹 My herat is ready to explode after reading this!!! 💜💜💜 I mean if you loved Thane and Callie in “The Last Sad Love Song” then you’re going to be obsessed as you read about their journey down the aisle. I blushed from page 1-100!! Happy tears were shed for sure 😭😭😭 I mean every scene was so beautifully written that they had a bish DEEP in her feelings. KB who gave you permission to tie these puppet strings to my heart and have it dancing around in my chest like this?! How rude!!! *Stephanie Tanner voice* This was such an amazingly heartfelt story. The way black love, friendship, brotherhood and everything in between was represented, gave me so much pride! Like I said in the beginning of this review my heart is FULL and I will forever root for everything and everybody black including our love! Don’t sleep on this read because it was EVERYTHING 💜🥰🥹💜
Once again, KB showed TF out with this beautiful display of black love! Ma’am, come to the front of the class to receive your flowers! Callie and Thane didn’t have snatch my hopeless romantic soul like that. The love, the chemistry, the passion, and the attraction are still very present with these two. Dare I say, they were even more in love with each other in this book?!!! Callie and Thane’s journey down the aisle had your girl in an emotional choke hold from start to finish. From the proposal, to the wedding dress fitting, to Callie and Mo sharing a dance at each other’s wedding, to the gems being dropped by the OGs at the rehearsal dinner, to Callie making her own wedding cake, or to Luna and Bubbles being the cutest ring bearers turned me into a blubbering fool. When I say the tears were flowin’, they were flowin’. And, the wedding vows?!!!! Come on now! They just about took me out! Callie and Thane’s union is definitely a love story for the ages. This Very Moment was an absolute pleasure to read. It was beautifully written and the attention to details were amazing. Hell, I felt like I was sittin’ middle row on the bride’s side with my plus one. The love of family, the sisterhood, the brotherhood, and the friendships were well represented and my heart was filled with so much pride. This book is just another example of why KB will forever have a fan in me.
This was drenched, saturated, soaked in love. As much of a sap as I am, I usually don't like wedding stories. I just like the journey before we get to the wedding. Just let me know they kiss, rode off to the sunset, and live happily ever after. But this little gem here...I'll read it over and over. Callie and Thane are still madly, passionately head over heels in love. Ms. Brown's delivery of the details in this book was amazing. She had me smiling and blushing the entire time. I've said this before and I'll say it again. K.B is a writing genius. She doesn't know how to be anything else but a freaking amazing writer. Read the first book, then get into this.
I loved this couple…l’m we received an update and invitation to Callie & Thane’s wedding….this couple was definitely attracted to one another from the very beginning and They kept that loving going….Granny & Unc even got connected from this union.
Oh goodness 😭 I was just overwhelmed with all the love in this book. Thane and Callie are going strong, and they seem to have fallen deeper in love. I loved how they loved each other, I mean it was big and consistently displayed. They had a thoughtful, sweet love. The way Thane catered to Callie, yes please! Don't let all the sweet love fool you, cause these two were also hot for each other and the BDE was on full display from Thane in the bedroom. They couldn't get enough of each other and I loved that for them. I enjoyed the merging of the families, the planning, the details, the sweet puppies, the game from the Elders...Everything was so beautiful. I absolutely loved Thane, I am always here for a man that has a way with words AND acts on them. Their special day was perfect! It was definitely hopeless romance at it's finest❤️
Now because I'm a greedy reader, I wanted them to cut that damn cake they were up all night fixing. I needed the guests reactions🤷🏾♀️. I also wanted an epilogue with a pregnancy reveal lol, don't judge me. Also does Porter and Mo have a book?? because he was a little ghetto and I happened to love a man with a little edge to him😂🤣
Lastly why y'all didn't tell me Granny was out here getting her groove back ??😂 I was also glad to see Stephanie got some karma, but a punch in the face would've sufficed lol. Excellent recommendation book frans!
I knew this was going to be a tear jerker. This was such a beautiful way to allow readers to share in such a special moment between characters that we've grown to know and love. Sometimes we don't get to "see" the wedding part of the happily ever after, and that's ok. But it sure is nice when we do get to "see" it
I love them! I’m a sucker for a sugary sweet novella with spicy sex scenes and this was just that! Kimberly Brown is very good at this writing stuff! Lol but seriously this was a cute update on Callie and Thane and I enjoyed it💜
Miss Kimberly, I almost forgot how adorable Callie and Thane were, but you reminded me real quick! The fun, attentiveness and love that these two shared was swoon worthy! 😍 The flashbacks and moments leading up to the wedding, had me tearing up and smiling like a crazy person! 😂 I loved seeing that all the crew was on hand to share this special time with our couple. The gems that were dropped at the rehearsal, were priceless! ❤ Granny is still a mess, and those scenes with Callie and Mo.... whew! Ma'am you were trying to have us short circuit our kindles huh? All that crying! 😂 What a display of love that rose from the pages! Really enjoyed this read! Bravo! 👍👍👍
What to say? I LOVED it 😍 It was sweet, it had all the favs in the KB universe drop in, and Callie and Thane got their happily ever after 🥰🥰🥰 I’m so happy they got to get to this moment and I know they on they honeymoon right now making 👶🏾
This short is an absolutely, adorable, super extended epilogue in the for fans of The Last Sad Love Song, allowing us to attend Callie and Thane’s wedding. It is 100% angst-free and drama free. It takes us from the proposal through the wedding day and all the ways their love is positive in between. You’re basically getting spice and awwws worth this. There’s no real plot in the sense of highs and lows, it’s more a slice of their HEA around the wedding and I really enjoyed it.
This was a great follow-up to Callie and Thane's story. From the moment these two met, their chemistry and attraction was undeniable. Not only did they spoil each other with their love but they equally balanced each other out. And thatnmade this wedding all the more special. Callie and Mo's friendship was still going strong and I liked that about them. Now they can add sister to their bond.
Mrs. Kim understood the assignment and executed it. Thane and Calliope's story was plotted to perfection. They had a fantastic adventure getting to the altar. Callie got to make one of her dreams come true by baking her wedding cake. She accomplished it with her friends and family. Thane stood behind her making it when everyone didn't think it was a great idea. The white velvet wedding cake sounded like it looked and taste good. I love the little getaway they had before the wedding. Some things haven't changed. Luna and Bubbles are still hilarious. A simple walk turned into Luna being a mother...lol. 😆 However, they were incorporated into the wedding and it was beautiful. They both sat beside their parents like professionals. Thane and Callie were made for each other. Thane had Callie beyond spoiled. Callie loved her man with all of her heart. Thane was into knocking things off of Callie's bucket list hence where they were spending their honeymoon. I get the vibe the St. Thomas family will be expanding sooner than later.
Mrs. Brown, you have done it 🎯 again. I love how close Callie and Mo were. They are sisters from another mister. They need each other, Mo has to have a shoulder. Her mother is a looney toon. I also love how grandma is living her best life. She may have to show Callie a few moves to keep Thane whipped. 😉 Mrs. Brown did not disappoint. Therefore, grab this book today. If you haven't met the St. Thomas' then start with The Last Sad Love Song first.
P.S. The colors of the wedding and the graphics in this book are superb.
BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY!!! This book was so amazing and gave me all the feels. This may be the sweetest book I read all year. Kimberly Brown had me crying, smiling, and laughing throughout this entire book! I fell in love with Thane St. Thomas in The Last Sad Love Song so I shouldn’t have been surprised at how sweet, loving, and caring he was towards not only Callie but his family and friends as well. This man was the epitome of perfection. There is no other way to describe him 🤷🏾♀️. My girl Callie was everything and then some. If a beautiful soul was a person, it would be her because she just embodied positive energy. Even going through troubles in her past, she remained genuine, and I was so happy to see her get everything she deserved in this book. I know I went on and on with this review, but this couple needed their flowers! Kimberly Brown said she wanted a feel-good read, and she gave just that! As y’all know, she is a favorite of mine, and all of her books hit, but this one definitely hit different! I would love to see more from this couple and their families in future books.
Kimberly Brown such a great read. I enjoyed this sweet read so much. You really give me hope that life isn't over, that my soulmate is still out there. Sometimes you have to go through weeds to get to the perfect flower. Thank you for allowing them to see the greatest things in each other. Thank you for giving Cam and Stephanie their karma, or at least Steph lost something that's not replaceable ever. Trust and loyalty are expected when you love someone. When it's lost it never comes back. So good to see Thane and Callie getting their just deserved karma. Such A beautiful thing for them.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💝
I am a hot blubbering mess. Before reading this, please get a few boxes of rolls of tissues and yes, it’s necessary! This book should definitely come with that disclaimer. The Last Sad Love Song was already one of my favorite books, so this as a follow up?! I just, y’all just gon have to read it to understand. This was a beautiful surprise and I basically finished in a day. Thank you, Kimberly! You NEVER EVER miss.
‘I found the one who my soul loves’. This was perfectly expressed and felt throughout. Calliope and Thane’s love story was breathtakingly beautiful and inspiring. They both showed each other love in action and words. The journey to their wedding was memorable. Now I want white velvet cake 🤭
Thank you for the invite! Cali and Thane are such a beautiful couple . Their wedding story was filled with so much love and sweetness. I really love the sisterhood with Mo and Callie. They way they love each other makes me think of my friendships! Kimberly never ceases to create such magical stories with black love as the focus!!
This was an amazing addition to these two characters story. The connection between bestfriend a remind me of me and mine. Now I want another update to see about the kids and other things (so get to writing 🤣). Another amazing story by Kimberly Brown that will have you engrossed definitely 1-click!
Loved the update from the couple. Callie and Thane’s love oozed throughout the pages. Their attraction to each other hasn’t waited a bit. This was a quick but great read.
Ms. Brown, you have an amazing gift! Your novels evoke emotions, are full of passion, romance, and just the right amount of sweet and sexy. But your wedding stories have me awwwing, hand-to-heart, and bawling my darn eyes out! 😭 I absolutely adored Thane and Calliope in The Last Sad Love Song, and this book of their journey to walking down the aisle is the MOST PERFECT follow-up to their love story! It was heartfelt, emotional, sweet, sensual, and very, very sexy! Such a BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING wedding! Your imagination and way with words are beyond me! Keep these stories coming!! 💜🩶💜🩶

Thane and Callie are surrounded by a strong, supportive community of family and friends, which adds depth to their love story. Warmth and love radiates from every page. Kimberly Brown did an excellent job showing that love doesn't have to be chaotic or painful to be powerful.
