‘They’d already messed with the wrong MC but when they took her, their fate was sealed’
Betrayed by one of their own, leaving a brother fighting for his life and Waverley gone, Hudson will stop at nothing to find her, even if he has to disobey his President and tear the rival MC apart.
History is finally catching up with the Devil’s Chaos and Waverley is faced with someone she never expected to return into her life. They say there are two sides to every story and everything she is learning contradicts what she thought she knew about her family, and who she can and can’t trust.
Finding an unlikely ally, and back with the man she has fallen in love with, Hudson and Waverley must find a way to finish this.
‘Even if it means destroying family to get to the truth’
This is a Motorcycle Club romance and the conclusion to the Devil’s Chaos duet, you must read Book 1, ‘Devil’s Chaos’ in order to follow the storyline of the duet.
Chris Reilly has loved reading from as early as she can remember and would spend hours letting her imagination run wild. She was born and raised in Liverpool, UK and still lives in her favorite city with her son and their two cats.
She spent the majority of her 20’s/30’s reading thrillers, but made the switch to romance when she picked up a book called ‘Dirty Letters’ and loved it and the authors so much, she went looking for more. Reading Indie Romance became her passion and she was inspired by these amazing authors and decided to put her writing hobby to the test.
A 'Happily Ever After' is always the goal for her characters, but there may be a cliffhanger or two, and definitely some angsty situations to work through, occasionally a little bit dark, but oh so delicious.
Now that I condensed Book one into a paragraph in my review we get to book 2 which is more interesting but still has a lot of superfluous information. Book 1 ends with the h being kidnapped so a big portion of this book is about that. Like I mentioned in my review of Book 1 , this would have been a better read if it was condensed into one book instead of stretched into over 600 pages.

I couldn't put it down, jumped straight here after the first book... I wish we could see War's and Connor's happy ending, but I still consumed this book. This duet deserves better recognition. I mean it. Definitely one of the favorite books! Waverly and Hudson became my safe place. Chris Reilly, I love you. Definitely will read more of your books!
Done... I finished this duet. But am I fine? No. The books are good, REALLY good. Action from start to end. Sooo much action 😱 And I loved it 😎 Sometimes I didn't know if I really read an MC romance or a mafia romance 🙈 I think the borders aren't really straight all the time between these two 😎 I loved this whole dynamic of the club. With all the old ladies. This whole familiarity 🩷
But as I said, there is a lot of mafia-like stuff. You know with all the 🔫 and ☠️ A vvar against an enemy club. And these plot twists. I'm still not over all these plot twists. So good 🤩
Even though the book is dual POV, there are two chapters from another POV. I'm not saying who, but it was nice 😁
To get the full experience, I recommend reading the prequel novella first, and don't miss the bonus epilog at the end of the duet.
There are definitely a few side characters I would love to read more about 😎 But maybe it's better not? Does every book need to have books for side characters? No. But still, I'm curious about a few 🤣 So, I'll definitely read more books, if they will ever come 😉
Ok, I loved this duet but it left me wanting more from these characters. I’m happy that Waverly and Hudson got their HFN but why did you leave it hanging with War and Connor. Please, please tell me there will be more from this MC.
Fully enjoyed the sequel to devils chaos, I was already in love with the characters and enjoyed how the relationships blossomed, all tied up nicely. Love this MC family!
Wow!!! Hudson and Waverly were everything! I couldn’t get of them! I loved all the ups and downs that happened! It got them in the place they needed to be at! I’m so happy they got everything they wanted! ❤️🖤
3.5 rounded up I liked the drama and angst but felt like the dad needed a reality check. I really want Warren's book and I'm curious about Cassie and Handlebars
After book 1 of the duet, I was really looking forward to reading this on release - I was not disappointed!! It was full of action and steam and the plot was intricately thought out. It was great to see them get their HEA. I'm excited to read more from this author, whose books I highly recommend ❤❤
I really enjoyed this duet. I've always enjoyed an MC romance, but a lot of them, for me, often fall flat. I feel like they need to be written a certain way, and the characters need to come across a certain way. This duet does that. The storyline was believable and was written with a certain edge to it. I loved the characters. You get to know each one, and I loved how close they all seemed to be. This story had everything. The guys come across like you would expect bikers from a respectable MC would. They're brash, they're hot-headed and all alpha male. That all changes, though, the minute they're behind closed doors with their old ladies. Waverley was written brilliantly. She was the epitome of what you would think a girl would be growing up with a bunch of bikers. She's tough, she's prickly, and she does not back down. Sometimes to a fault. There were a couple of times when I felt like she should have stood down. This story was riveting. There were so many layers to this, I was so engrossed that I didn't put these down until I finished. The added smaller storylines also gave the story depth, and I was invested in each and every one of the characters' stories. There's so much more that can be taken out of this story, and I really hope there are others within this world because characters like Mace and Connor and Warren, their stories need to be told. A really well one MC romance.
3.5 stars. Better than the first book, but I still hated Waverley. Let's be honest here. She got her father shot. From the first book we know she doesn't listen and meddles in the club business. She get's people hurt and doesn't care. She was an extremely selfish and spoiled person. Both books were almost ruined by her character. She makes a terrible ol lady. Poor Hudson honestly. As far as the rest of the book it was overall decent. But at the same time it was disappointing as so many side characters storylines are just left without any resolution. Doesn't seem like this author is continuing this series which is a bummer honestly. I was more interested in the side character's stories. Especially War and Connor. Not so much Cassie as I dislike promiscuous FMCs in the stories I read. She was harsh and very unlikable. Her clinging onto Mace in the end pissed me off. But I guess this is the end for this series.

Devils Daughter by Chris Reilly continues the gripping story from book one, with Waverley kidnapped by her own mother. As Hudson, War, and King race to rescue her, we meet Mace—a charming and heroic addition who plays a key role in saving Waverley. The book is filled with passionate moments, unexpected twists, and plenty of romantic tension that kept me hooked until the very end. While there’s a bit less spice than the first book, the story and relationships remain captivating. I really enjoyed this read and give it a solid 4 stars!

As the second book in a duet, this flows nicely in from the cliffhanger at the end of the first book and captivates from the start. Having become really invested in the characters in book one, I absolutely loved the way that this developed and without giving too much away you get the answers (some of them unexpected) and an ending that doesn’t disappoint. Will be hoping to hear more from my favourite MC in the future!
This was a great duet. Knowing how everything fell into place took time, but ya know King. He's calculated. Waverley and War find out a lot about their real mom, their aunt who was after money, and how evil her cousins could be. The rival who was a hero is now an ally or chapter member. So many things were going on. But you got a lot of answers. This story could have been a little longer. How we get other member books.
Chris manages to leave some questions open to keep you guessing on the plot lines and make you unsure which way the story is heading. I love the main romance between Waverley and Hudson and the arc throughout as the plot unfolds. This is well constructed and thought out, with all characters contributing something important to the ultimate plot line. Well written and highly enjoyable to consume as a reader.
I couldn't put this down! So many emotions one after another, happiness, fear, anxiety, grief.... what a rollercoaster! I just loved Hudson, the bad boy arsehole biker who was a secret softie when it can to Waverly! I loved how their relationship bloomed. This is the last part a wonderful duet and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend!! I do have to say though... I dont know if I'll ever get over what Warren did!
Well dam honestly the plot of this entire duet is insane and I’m glad I read it for the plot. Let alone the spice 😂🌶️ The plot twists alone give it its 4 star rating!!
Also just finished the extended epilogue and all I can say is I’m upset please don’t tell me that’s the end of Connor and Warren I beg.
Girl I didn’t realise there was a prequel get it on Goodreads please 😂. - which I’d put at a 4.5 with ease.

I Love Chris’ style of writing. I said this when I read Devil’s Chaos and I still haven’t changed my mind 😂 This book gets better and better as it goes on. I forgive Chris for the cliffhanger in book one as this book was well worth the wait! Drama, violence, angst & spice. You name it, this book has it!
Great to have the characters I love back on the pages. Was excited for this sequel and it lived up to my expectations. It had me on the edge of my seat , eager to know what was going to happen next. I enjoyed this book more than the last, which I didn’t think was possible.
She left the MC after miscommunication. Suddenly her life is in danger dragged back to the compound and the one centre collector is none other than Hudson. What is this threat against her? Why is she in danger? Will? Her at Hudson ever stop hating each other
Loved the book overall, just was personally bummed the some of the characters didn't get the ending I was hoping for but that didn't take away from my actual love of the story
Okay, this was a good second book to the duet, and i enjoyed it, but i didn’t like how there was no closure for all the characters. And while we did get closure for Waverley and Hudson, but damn i’m still not sure if like how Waverley left her father to his misogynistic ways, but hey, small things i guess.
The twists were wild in the book, and i was immersed in it, so i did enjoy it.
