We All Have a Hell

He’s a psychopath.
For weeks I’d been waking up to dead bodies beside me. I told myself that they were hallucinations, but the truth was, my reality was a jumbled mess. It was hard to tell what was real and what was merely a product of my traumatized mind. They had to be hallucinations. I wasn’t a killer. But those bodies on my bed every morning had me fearing the police would take me and throw me in jail, despite the lack of blood on my hands.

When I started a new position as personal assistant for the founding partner of Volkov Law Firm, I wasn’t prepared for the upheaval thrown my way. Everything changed the moment I laid eyes on Attorney Volkov. He was this mysterious, grumpy man who chased away my demons. A surprising feat considering I woke up to them every morning. He made me face them head on and feel brave for once, though I don’t think he realized it. But I ran from him when I found out he was the thing that terrified me the most.

Dimitri Volkov wasn’t human.

He was tenacious. When he set his sight on something, he didn’t stop until he had it. And he’d set his sight on me, even though I was the one thing he despised. Human.

How could I find myself attracted to the very thing that terrified me? Did I have a death wish? Or did I unconsciously need to sink deeper into the depths of my schizophrenia? Was I really that far gone? Perhaps it was because he made me feel seen, feel brave. Perhaps it was because he’d somehow become my reality and the center of my universe. The one thing I knew to be real.

His penchant for fucking someone to death was the only thing that stopped us from being together.

But the one thing he didn’t realize we had in common was that when I wanted something, I got it. And I wanted him.

Because he’s my psychopath.

We All Have A Hell is a dark paranormal romance. Please look inside the front of the ebook to read the author's note about what the book contains. This is a standalone novel with mental health representation (schizophrenia) in a paranormal world.

I don’t even remember how long this book has been sitting in my KU borrows. I don’t remember why I picked it up either. I’ve been in such a reading slump for a frustratingly long time. Despite not really loving this book, I think it might have helped. I’m primarily a dark romance reader but I’ve been avoiding reading my favorite genre with a few exceptions. I apparently have a masochistic streak. I think I just need the dark stuff. I might be broken. All the sweeter romances just end up boring me.

I didn’t love this book but it was okay. If you like DARK romance, this is a solid read - it just missed the mark for me.

This is definitely dark. It’s also definitely not safe. If you need safe reads drop this book and run the other way. I’ll give more specific safety details and spoilers below. Proceed at your own risk.

This is a book about a demon who hates humans. There are too many triggers and content warnings for me to feel comfortable covering them all. The author does give extremely detailed content warning before the book begins so read those first if you have triggers. Maybe read those first before you read this review, it couldn’t hurt.

The heroine here is very sweet and innocent. She’s also very schizophrenic. I don’t think I could imagine a worse match for her than Dimitri. The only thing that makes it plausible is the fated mates stuff.

Dimitri is a demon who literally hates humans. He finds them beneath him. It doesn’t stop him from fucking human women though. The book opens with his first scene fucking a nameless woman to death. She’s already dead when the scene picks up. It’s very descriptive and he has a grand old time. There are two more scenes later after he’s met Emma. One where he fucks another nameless woman to death and one where he’s dug up a corpse to fuck because he doesn’t want the hassle of finding a woman. His demon half knows that Emma is their mate but Dimitri fight against it. He’s also obstinately against jerking off because he feels it’s beneath him. He eventually gets over that once he’s succumbed to the realization he only wants Emma.

Initially Dimitri just doesn’t want anything to do with the human. Eventually after he comes to terms that she’s his mate he holds back not wanting to harm her. Being a demon he’s a giant asshole to her most of the time. He runs hot and cold. Ultimately it was the hot and cold that turned me off. It just got a bit tedious to me and I was bored with his back and forth.

He doesn’t actually end up fucking Emma til past 80% and mating near the very end. All the other sex is either with other women or masturbation/fantasies/hallucinations. This ends on a HFN. There’s no separation between them but it takes a long time for him to give in and claim her. There is apparently another book. I’m intrigued enough to probably read it.

We all have a hell was my first book by Willow Mcquerry; I was able to be an ARC reader for this book.
The first thing is to pay attention to the TRIGGER WARNINGS! She made it the most detailed TW I have seen to date, and I appreciate her including what chapters contained them. This dark paranormal romance was easy to dive into in the novel. I don't wish to spoil the book for anyone. Emma and Dimitri are the centers of the story, the perfect sunshine and grumpy trope. The author showed a look into schizophrenia threw the female lead, Emma. I would recommend giving this book a read.

Review : This was super dark and spicy this is about Emma who has schizophrenia and has hallucinations and panics and then her new boss who is a demon btw has fascination with her . They end up fooling around a lot and it's freaking hot . Dimitri doesn't like humans but Emma is the exception and when she goes out with some creep who throws her out after she she has an episode and he kills the dude and then he finds out Emma is his mate . They end up going to Russia cause Emma got sent some threatening email . We find out Tyler Emma supposed friend is a demon hunter and Dimitri kills him and Emma hears it all on the phone and she runs and the demon finds her and fucks her and she dies but she comes back due to the mating bond this was a fun read .

⚠️⚠️⚠️Reseña CON SPOILERS ⚠️⚠️⚠️

2 ⭐

Loved it very much 💜

WAHAH was very eye-opening to schizophrenia and Willow did a very good job of explaining the mental health illness while also writing a very well and enjoyable read. I will say to ABSOLUTELY HEED THE TRIGGER WARNINGS ⚠️ because they will be VERY dark for many readers. I liked Dimitri but fell in love when he started to soften towards Emma and helped distract her when she needed it. This was a very well written and informative representation of schizophrenia as it should be written. I look forward to reading Emma's and Dimitri's next story 💜

Man oh man. I loved this book. I didnt expect to eat this up.
From chapter one it starts off dark… that pitch darkness that I was just stunned reading. This is one of the darkest books I read, but the plot was great and the spice is the spiciest.
The demon/Dimitri (MMC) is a dark, twisted character that fights to take what is his and his human form fight to keep him at bay to not hurt the girl that caught their attention. His development through the book made me drool and my heart beat fast.
Emma (MFC) .. oh gosh, I love her. It dives into the mind of someone who deals with schizophrenia. She’s a beautifully thick and quirky girl who is taken by awe of dimitri the moment she sees him.

This book had me shocked, intrigued and I didn’t want it to end! Beautifully written!

PLEASE check for TWs before diving in!

I got lucky to be apart of the ARC team for this one and honestly, I'm glad I did.

This was actually a really good read. There's definitely a lot to unpack within the pages but it kept my attention and I enjoyed the experience.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! This book does not play during certain scenes so take what she says seriously!

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Dimitri is a demon who couldn't care less about humans. All they're good for is for hurting and raping to satisfy his inner Demon.

But when he meets Emma, something feels different. Even his Demon's voice is claiming that she is their mate. Dimitri isn't convinced. And is trying to push her away. But it's getting harder to do the more he's around her.

Emma has schizophrenia and frequently has hallucinations and episodes of psychosis that leave her confused and unsure of what's real and what isn't. But despite her fears, she finds herself drawn to her grumpy boss, who she later finds out is legit a demon.

REVIEW:

This was interesting. Definitely dark and lots of shock value stuff going on.

At first I found Dimitri to be quite dark and interesting. He's definitely not for everyone. I can't say I even ever liked him. But he's definitely fascinating!

But he's no hero for sure. Considering before Emma he has no qualms about raping women to death and then continuing to rape them after they die. Yeah...he's not a nice guy. But it's like a train wreck situation. I just can't look away! lol

Anyways, where the book kind of lost me though was his softness towards Emma. We are told it's because she's his mate. But it's just hard to believe that this guy would soften at all for anybody. And while Emma was sweet and nice, I didn't necessarily see anything about her that would warrant changing his entire personality.

I think part of it is that Emma was almost too nice and sweet for him. I think a villain like him would've paired better (and more realistically) with a more bloodthirsty woman who sort of matched his viciousness better. It would've been more believable.

Still, I did like how unapologetically dark the book got. I am a fan of dark books that don't hold back on the villainy. So I liked that about it.

The sex was hot but also painful sounding? I mean, I guess that's the point. But I donno if it's just me, but it did cross a point where I wasn't convinced it was sexy anymore and just found myself cringing on behalf of Emma (and his other victims).

But overall I like the darkness of it and it kept my interest. So I think I'll read the sequel when it comes out.

What's real and what's a delusion? Demon fated mates must read.

"We all have a hell, sunshine. If you let me, I’ll be your moon on your darkest nights. Because you are my sun on my darkest days.”

This amazing book tells a story of a strong curvy female who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia but proves all the stereotypes wrong. She may have episodes but through therapy, medication, and finding a routine to help ground her during or after she comes out the other side. Emma is Sunshine and pure hearted and works in a law office. Her boss, being an insensitive person, requests her be transferred to be Dimitri's personal assistant. The job that most don't last more than a few weeks.

Dimitri is a founding partner, built like a Greek Adonis, and the personality of a piranha on feeding day. Oh, and he hates humans. Being a demon and living for as long as he has, mankind, particularly women, have become his way of keeping his demon satisfied and barricaded behind a mental shield.

Everything changes when Emma shows up to work and sends everything Dimitri felt and fought up in smoke. His Demon pushes him, all while he fights back and denies that this human has consumed his thoughts, dreams, and everything in between. To make matters worse, she has a crush on him, but he's her boss and the voices are constantly telling her someone's watching, waiting to send her away.

Emma is a snarky woman who has accepted her diagnosis but doesn't let it rule her and her attraction to her boss sends this book to some amazing spicy heights.

But do read the trigger and content warnings. The Demon and Dimitri are not warm and fuzzy and the way they need to satisfy their needs could be very disturbing to some. This is a unique insight into the mind of someone who turns her diagnosis and gives it a one finger salute and enjoys her life. The author has poured her personal struggles and victories into developing an amazing book that is so spicy and had me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait to start the next book.

I was lucky to get an ARC copy of this book! I loved Realm Walkers Rising and this one was a wild 180. It was twisted to the point I had to put it down for a bit (never for long!) Or go back and reread to make sure I read it correctly! I loved the reading the schizophrenic aspect of it because it's not a side of mental health that we see often in books. She did a great job writing about it and it lined up a lot with my own knowledge and studies on Schizophrenia.

The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the slang terms but that did not stop me from reading the book.

I was lucky enough to get this book as an ARC and I loved it. It is a little different from what I have been reading but I truly enjoyed it.

At times it was faker than I was expecting but it was well written and easy to read. I loved the internal bickering of the MMC and his development through the story.

The FMC Emma had her struggles but was able to work through them. This book gave me new insight to those dealing with schizophrenia and I will take that with me.

I will remember this book for a long while in a good way. Just make sure to pay attention to the trigger warnings.

DNF - I honestly don’t know why I decided to start this book, especially after reading the trigger warnings which I usually take seriously. For some reason the premise intrigued me but I deeply regret picking it up.

From the very first chapter the male lead completely repulsed me. The male lead r*pes a woman so violently that she dies and he enjoys it. It was appalling to read and I couldn’t believe the narrative wanted me to see him as a love interest. There’s nothing redeemable about him, he's cruel, disturbing, and disgusting. Looking back, that’s when I should have dropped this book.

I initially liked Emma and thought she had potential to be a compelling protagonist but she slowly became hollow, submissive, and completely consumed by her feelings for a man who never truly cared about her. Her character became flat and frustrating to follow. She stopped feeling like a person and became little more than a device to romanticize someone utterly unworthy of it.

The only character I actually found myself caring about was Tyler. He showed genuine compassion and concern for Emma and I kept wishing the story would shift in his direction, at least he treated her like a human being.

This is one of the most disturbing books I’ve attempted to read in a long time. It crossed too many lines for me. This experience has taught me to trust my gut and respect trigger warnings more carefully in the future.

1 ★ - never again.

Top Tier Terror Romania

I always believe CW/TWs are love notes from the author to their readers; it's a definitive way to know they care. Read the extremely detailed and thorough Content Warming and Trigger Warning pages; I knew I was in for a treat. First, do not read this story if you are not checking for a dark demon romance. If any piece of the CW/TW makes you clutch your pearls, do not move forward. The author takes care of us, so make sure you are taking care of yourself.

I love dark romance, especially paranormal dark romance. Even though I know what I'm getting into, I need CW/TWs to know if one of my hardlines is being crossed or if there is something I don't want to engage in at that specific moment. This book was chef's kiss perfection. I know people will address the plot, so I plan to use the description tags for my review:

#mentalhealthissues #sunnyxgrumpy: I was looking for a book with neurodiverse characters, especially if it's the FMC. I was tired of reading about cookie-cutter perfect people, and I strongly feel that those with illnesses deserve representation in love stories and romances. The FMC, Emma, has schizophrenia, and it was well done and written in the story. Not only did the character appear as a full person, the author, through strong writing, but it also educated me about life from a schizophrenic person's perspective. I was constantly pausing to think about how I would feel in those situations and what I would do as someone not struggling. Not only that, Emma was pure sunshine, but naturally. Thank goodness she was 27 yo (older than the norm in romance), and I was happy to see a grown woman handle things. Her flighty, light nature was perfectly juxtaposed against Dimitri, MMC, and her brightness propelled the story forward. Her outlook was refreshing but also added to our empathy when she was having an episode.

#alphahole #stalker: When I read demon romances, I want the MMC to really be demonic. Usually, you get demon-lite, where the MMC is basically human but with some attitude issues. I loved that his mindset, methodology, physicality, and moral system of Dimitri were all representative of dark demon hood. He didn't understand or even like humans. He operated on a totally different level.

#horrorparanormalromance: The TW/CWs will prepare you for his actions; since I was prepared, and he was a demon, I read the story easily. Nothing felt like a tick mark in dark romance scenes. Everything was set up and fully engulfed in the story. Every dark issue the Demon has or dark moment presented serves the story and pushes the story forward--all of those actions build the characterization. I liked that there was no pause or going back. Dimitri wasn't going to change his rationality become he fell into a bond. Instead, he kept being whom he was always meant to be. No third act, "I will now do right," changes. Instead, he learned to make space his sunshine, and that was it. This story has horror elements so you will see lots of blood and gore. At times I felt this was just a good old-fashioned gothic story.

#smutt #extremeerotica: you will see necro, somno, noncon. The dirty talk in this book is melt-in-your-chair-worthy. So many "dirty girls/good girl," so much force, "you will take this." There isn't BDSM with its rules and consent. Nope, Dimitri is a taker. He takes what he wants when he wants.

Alright alright alright ....
Where do you want me to begin?
Cause I could begin with how inclusive this book is and how it shows the REAL side of schizophrenia; or I can start with how Willow once again wrote a homerun of a book; or I could start and say that I always fall for the brooding assholes that ALWAYS have issues, and sometimes might actually be part demon.

I had the honor and the privilege to not only ARC read this, but also ALPHA and BETA read it and every single draft I saw of this book, just got BETTER and BETTER to the point where I am BEYOND feral for Dimitri and Demon.
Emma is the PERFECT Sunshine.
Did I mention I am also HEAD OVER HEELS all for the grumpy x sunshine trope?

This book gives you such a dynamic look into everyday schizophrenia and the daily things people can experience with it. This book shows you that this illness should NOT be demonized and these people immediately wrote as the bad guy. This book opens a new world to seeing schizophrenia for what it is. Something that effects the person, but does not turn them evil.

The story between Dimitri and Emma is something of Fated Mates meet Billionaire Boss meets GrumpyXSunshine in the BEST way.

And yes ... the book is dark, but it also has all its TWs listed. (READ THEM)
When you go in to read this book, do it with an open mind and a open heart.
I guarantee you will swoon and aww it.
You will also scream and be like WTF?!
But that's part of dark romance.

I wont spoil it - I wont give intimate details, but what I can say ... This book may of taken her years to write, but it was written perfectly, beautifully and put into our hands when it was needed most.
Always your biggest fan Willow, and I wish GoodReads and the Zon would let me rate it 10 Stars!

March 3rd, 2023: I received my ARC copy, will update when I have them. (Release date March 21st,2023)

March 5th, 2023: I did not see any of this coming! What I expected is not what Willow is giving, holy cow!

March 7th, 2023: The way Willow is able to show us the reality of schizophrenia is good. It makes you step back and think, it also gives way to a little more understanding of what people with this may endure on a day-to-day basis. People who have this are just like you and me, and they should NOT be demonized because of it.

March 8th, 2023: He fudged her to death... and then the mating bond brings her back to life!!!! WHAT?! This is flipping wonderful, out of so many books I have read in the past few weeks this one has been squealing and flipping to the next page!!!!

This was a wonderful read, it kept me on my toes, biting my nails and oftentimes reading with my mouth hanging wide open with bulging eyes. I could not get enough of the MMC, he is grumpy, possessive, and pompous but in all the best ways!

Reading Rate: FIVE OUT OF FIVE FREAKING STARS!

Spice: ANOTHER FIVE OUT OF FREAKING FIVE STARS!

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GREEN READ YOUR TRIGGERS! This is a DARK ROMANCE, and not intended for everyone. But if you decide to read, go in with an open mind and be ready for a wild ride! I cannot tell you how amazing this book is, Willow has found a new fan in me.

Now excuse me while I go download everything I can of hers!! Happy reading everyone!

We all really DO have a Hell 🖤

Whoa! First of all, read the trigger/content warnings and BELIEVE THEM. I’m the type of reader who sees these warnings and thinks, “meh, it’ll be fine.” For the love of everything, believe Willow’s warnings.

Although I’m certainly no fan of screwing someone to death (and continuing to do so well after the fact) and the fact that it’s not a huge focal point in the story - I just can’t bring myself to giving an author a lower rating when they clearly warned us readers.

This book is well worth the read. I found myself trying to find time throughout my day to read more and see what happens next. Dimitri has big “touch her and die” energy (quite literally). The spice was spicy but mainly I wanted to know what happens next.

And I love the fact that the character of Emma explains several times throughout the book that just because she takes meds doesn’t make all the symptoms go away. In the first few pages of the book we are giving a ton of information about the types of mental health disorders written about in the book. I am so impressed by how Willow addressed everything.

Some of the scenes were a little hard to take for me. I struggled with if they were for shock value or actually had a purpose in the story. And honestly, I still don’t have an answer but would easily read this book again because I enjoyed it that much. Seeing the artwork of the characters was fun and helpful when you’re reading and imagining what’s happening. That was very cool.

I received this book as an ARC.

I volunteered to read this book for Ms. McQuerry when I happened across it on TikTok. While dark anything isn't my typical reading choice it sounded interesting so I gave it a shot.

Though I still stand by my it's not a genre I'll be seeking out when not an ARC, the book itself was very good. It was interesting to read a story where the main character has a significant "disability". (I hate to use that word but cannot think of another one currently, I mean absolutely zero disrespect in using it.) And the story kept me engaged so that's always an important factor.

I am interested in seeing what, if anything, happens next. It feels like there will/should be but that's just me. So if there is a book 2 for Emma and Dimitri I will be checking it out despite the genre.

There is a lot of spice (monster sized) and if you have a problem with forced activities, degrading, etc this probably isn't the book for you. But if that's not a hard no for you I'd suggest giving it a try. This book just might surprise you.

**it would be a 4.5 star if that were possible because there were several things that were repeated many times, almost word for word (which may have been intentionally due to the characters mental illness idk) and it somewhat annoyed me but I grade on a curve. **

For morally corrupted readers!

One of the principal goals of the author was to present a more realistic scenario of what is to live with schizophrenia through Emma, and let me tell you, she achieved that goal. Emma suffers from schizophrenia since a young age and battles daily with her demons. She meets Dimitri, a villian without morals ready to take what he wants. I loved that the author integrated some of the sweetness of fated mates in this story. Even though Dimitri is a ville demon, he succumbed to the cunning hands of love for his mate. The fact that he learned about her condition and still handled her like a normal person touched my heart. He didn't make her feel out of place, he just accepted her as she was and molded his life to hers. Even though this is a slow burn romance (I would say), the smut in the last few chapters compensates for all the time Dimitri resisted his feelings for her. Please, PLEASE, read through the trigger warnings. This book is NOT for everyone, it's great to provide a different perspective of schizophrenia but definitely not a healthy read for people with trauma and more. This demon certainly does not care about human's morals and what is considered wrong or right. I myself extremely enjoyed this book, and I definitely recommend it, just read at your own discretion!!!

🔥🔥 read the trigger warnings for the beauty right 🔥🔥 and no, i do not want to hear, but I like to go in blind. Willow did a phenomenal job at outlining what may be triggering to you.
With that said,
Oh, Emma. I just want to hug her honestly. What a beautiful representation this of how a mental illness can affect your everyday life and the inner struggle that is to want to be *normal*
She is a ray of sunshine despite her mind literally tearing her apart, and she is one of my favorite FMCS.
Dimitri <---- this man. It should be illegal for him to speak the way he does. What a filthy mouth. However, this man is morally pitch black. He is not to be confused with morally grey. He is dark, hates humans, and this showcases so well throughout the whole book. He's a grumpy ass MMC, and im here for it.
Onto my favorite part. DEMON. Is he also Dimitri? Yess and no, but man, he is as possessive as they come, and his obsession with Emma is swoon worthy *toxic* but swoon worthy.
These two together are a perfect mix of sunshine and dark, and I loved it when we finally got to them being together. Demon and Dimitri, despite being very tough ass men. Neither of them can resist Emma, and I love that for her. Job well done.
The story was a very quick read for me because it was impossible to set down.

This is my first read by Willow and I can’t believe more people haven’t read it. In my opinion, it’s a sleeper hit of the summer.
I was pulled in from the beginning and was kept in the grasp of this story. This is dark, darker than I expected, but it’s dark in ways I wasn’t expecting and loved it.

Dimitri is a demon who despises humans and uses them for his own pleasure and needs. His coldness in the beginning made it hard for me to like his character at all, but as the story went along and I got to see his other sides, I ended up liking him a lot.

Emma is a woman who has battled her own demons for so long and it was heartbreaking to watch her suffer through her bouts of psychosis. She is so kind and pure of heart, so when I learned that Dimitri is her fated mate I was actually nervous for her. But, her sweet soul brought out the humanity that Dimitri thought he didn’t have.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the realistic view of a mental illness (that is frowned upon in today’s society) is definitely refreshing and I loved how Willow gave it a twist with a demon love interest. This book was one that I battled with myself on whether or not to read it and now that I have, I wish I read it sooner. Willow’s storytelling talents are perfection and I can’t wait to dive into the next book.

This book really couldn't be much darker. It's pitch black. Proceed at your own risk. Let's get into it.

Favorite quote: "If you let me, I'll be your moon on your darkest day nights. Because you are my sun on my darkest days."

The above quotes makes you want to swoon. But do not be fooled. Dimitri is NOT a good guy. He's not even an anti-hero. He's unapologetically a villain who falls completely in love with our sunshine, Emma.

The book can be classified as a slow burn as our couple don't get together until at least 80 percent of the way in. But there's plenty of spice. It's just very Dark spice. Read those trigger warnings.

Plot? There wasn't much of one. It was character driven, driven by the couple's relationship and a subplot involving demon hunters that's wrapped up very quickly. No, the HEA doesn't cure our FMC of her mental illness, just like medicine isn't a cure but a band-aid.

Spice? I'd 3-4 out of 5, but its very dark.
HEA? It's more of a HFN since there's a sequel. I'm content with the story as is and don't see myself picking it up. I did really enjoy this book. It was my first by this author and didn't disappoint.
If you like pitch black romances with supernatural elements, full non-con and various other shopping list items, then this is the book for you.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Please check triggers before reading this book!! I enjoyed the book, but there may be something it in others would not.

This was probably the darkest book I've personally ever read! But to some, it may not be or not seen so dark. I was a bit out of my usual area of reading to be completely honest, but i did enjoy the book! This book was very well described as well!

Emma, our main gal was so wonderful to read. The descriptions of her schizophrenia definitely give an inside look at how people affected by this can view things and how it honestly affects their everyday life. I loved her sunshine attitude even with everything she goes through sometimes on a daily basis. It was such an interesting thing to read about.

Then we got our deal Dimitri and his inner demon. I enjoyed them being separate and having seperate feeling/thoughts and being able to have an inner conversation with basically himself was enjoyable. He's definitely a grumpy guy, but we love those characters.

For being out of my box overall, i enjoyed pretty much the entire book. Some of it I wasn't so keen on, but hey it doesn't hurt to dabble and find new things! I'd suggest this to anyone who loves dark romance and has checked the triggers!

Are you looking for:

Morally Pitch Black MMC ☑️
Fated Mates ☑️
Amazing Mental Health Representation ☑️
Spice 🥵 x 5 ☑️
Demons

Then look no further than ‘We All Have A Hell’ (book 1) ‘We All Have A Heaven’ (book 2) by Willow McQuerry, this dark paranormal romance duet follows Dimitri (our psychopath demon) as he reluctantly falls for Emma (a sweet human girl dealing with Schizophrenia)

When I say this is dark, it’s pitch dark. Dimitri doesn’t like humans and doesn’t shy away from making that known, but Emma gets under his skin like no one ever has. When he finally sweetens up a bit, he’ll go to whatever lengths to not only protect Emma but make sure she knows she belongs to him.

This is definitely a horror dark romance with plenty of spice and murder mixed in. I couldn’t read this series fast enough as I finished both books in two days.

‘We all have a hell, sunshine. If you let me, I’ll be your moon on your darkest nights. Because you are my sun on my darkest days.’

‘Emma, you are the center of our universe. Everything we do is for you. We don’t give a f*ck about anyone else. If we were given an ultimatum to save the world or save you, we’d burn the f*cking world down.’

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I am book hungover right now. In fact I'm so hungover that I'm going straight into the 2nd book. It's VERY rare I do that!

First off, the author who has Schizophrenia, has been able to put her experiences and struggles in life into just a gorgeous FMC. There should be more Emma's in the world. It would be a kinder place.

It was just dreamy to watch her meet Dimitri and find home in him, despite being the one thing she's afraid of - A Demon.

Dimitri is the poster boy of grumpy MMC. If he could murder with his looks alone there'd have been no one left in the book. His devotion and possessiveness towards Emma is the sweetest. He cares beyond life for her. It must be exhausting keeping Demon suppressed 😂.

Demon. What a guy, the bad influence, the wildchild and the one who loves Emma FIERCELY. His level of protection and love for her is ethereal.

Please PLEASE read the trigger warnings. This book is no joke. It features heavy themes of mental illness, necrophilia, murder, torture to name but a few. Your mental health matters.

Also - THE SPIIIIICEEEE 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
