For Once, The Prince Will Prove The Villainess’ Innocence!
When Crown Prince Vincent announces their engagement is over, Elizabeth faints. What will become of House la Montlivere? Of her entire family? At the prince’s side, the so-called heroine smirks. Elizabeth is doomed to a villainess’ fate… Only for the tables to turn when Vincent suddenly calls out the heroine for her misdeeds!
Jump into the story of an ill-fated but handsome prince as he fights for his darling fiancée, deflecting every attempt to turn her into an evildoer by any means necessary! They’ll have their lovey-dovey happily ever after, even if it kills him!
started out as a quirky, amusing twist on the villainess genre, and ended up going downhill from there. one side character truly ruined the whole thing, and there’s only so much I can deal with feelings being hidden when there’s no good reason - unlike in most villainess stories, where there IS a reason even if I don’t always agree. There’s… none, here, and it makes both the mains come off as unintelligent.
wouldn’t rec it honestly. raphael alone makes this book a hard no. sexual assault isn’t funny, thanks!
I don't know if you can really say Elizabeth was a villainess fiancée, but otherwise if you're into isekai, villainess stories, and other similar light novels, you'll probably enjoy this.
I do like at the end that there is a little parody of isekai stories that are so popular right now. I cracked a smile when I realized what it was, since I've read so many.
While this isn’t a BAD book, I wouldn’t consider it a GOOD book either. I stopped reading when the Raphael person was talking about what he found out about “Yulie” because I didn’t care. If I don’t care about the characters, I don’t want to read the book.
I’m sure this is an interesting take because it is told via Prince Vincent.
Not particularly engaging. I've read better, and the art work was a bit eh. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't exactly catch my eye either. Recommended? Eh Buy/Borrow? read it free online
If you're looking for a diffrent kinda villainess novel, seriously read this! The Prince refuses to fall for the heroines predictable charms and instead simps for his kind fiancé. Refreshingly told from the princes point of view.
