THE SECOND INSTALLMENT OF BELLA JEWEL'S NEWEST MC ROMANCE IS HERE!!!
Dear Nightmare,
I f*cked up. It wasn’t meant to be this way. I wasn’t meant to hurt you. I wanted the world to know the truth. I wanted them to see who you really are. I never thought it would end like this. I wish you would hear me out. I wish you would let me speak. I’ve made a mistake. There is no coming back from that. My life is in danger. Your life is in danger. The club is in danger. I’ve done this to all of us, yet I can’t turn back the clock. I can only fight to keep you safe. Even if I must make a deal with the devil. I’ll do it. For you, I’ll do anything. I hope you can forgive me. Because, Night, I’ve fallen in love with you. You’ve captured my soul. Then you ripped it out. There is only one way back. I must end this. For both of us.
Loved books 1 and 2 but wasn't a fan of the heroine. The hero was a tall drink of deliciousness, but the heroine could use a backbone transplant. She kept thinking about how much she hated him, how she was done with him this time and how humiliated she felt ..all while dropping her panties... Pff, grow a pair!! Not a fan of these kind of heroines. I prefer when they stick up for themselves and let the men grovel and work for it.
Still enjoyed reading these books though because the hero, though he was a big asshole at times, and the side characters more than made up for the heroines behavior.
Bonnie's life is turned upside down after her article is released without her consent and Western throws her out of the club. Bonnie is devastated that the man she's fallen for, who she wants to help, refuses to speak to her. To make matters worse, Bonnie's life is in danger now that the article is out and the club isn't protecting her. But she's determined to prove Western's innocence at any cost and fight for their love.
The first book in the series was interesting and left me wanting more at the cliffhanger. We definitely get a ton of action in this book, and twists and turns. The problem I had is just felt kind of meh. There wasn't anything wrong with the story, it just felt like it was missing something. I normally don't say this, but I think it needed to be longer. There was a lot going on, which sometimes made the story feel a bit rushed.
If there was one man who is still in purgatory it is Western Aiken and Bonnie is the woman who can set him free. I loved that Bella Jewel created a man like Western, full of hate, anguish yet the man he used to be is still in there somewhere. It takes a strong woman like Bonnie to get past the high walls he has created in his life. For years since he got out of prison people around town still see him as a prisoner no matter how hard and the club tries to redeem themselves. Now this is where the book gets exciting because a woman like Bonnie doesn't take no easily and boy is she perfect for Western in every way. One is just trying to just live his life and the other knows when a person has been wronged. The real devil is out there hurting kids and it takes a strong man to out devil him even when there's a woman life in peril. These two may hate each other right now but man when push comes to shove nothing will stop Bonnie from setting his man free. The love they have goes beyond what they ever expected and no story is going to break them even if it means sacrificing their own hearts. This was a great book and knowing that Bonnie is close to getting her man and the big story just proves how talented Bella Jewel is when it comes to this Club. This is one series full of hate, betrayal, passion and most of all one man's dreams of finding the happiness he has only ever wanted in life. Loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
Absolutely adored this second instalment in the Prisoners of purgatory series. Bella Jewel as usual didn’t fail to deliver on the excitement, suspense and that all important spice 😜
I fell in love with Western and Bonnie in the first book and couldn’t wait to see how everything turned out. If you read the first book you’ll know we were left with a cliffhanger and sure enough, it all comes together in book two.
There are some major twists in this though and I was nervous at some points but it all works out how it’s supposed too.
If you love biker men and strong female leads mixed up with that perfect amount of spice, then you need to get on this series.
Cannot wait for book three where we get to explore Colt more 🙌
Great conclusion to Western and Bonnie’s story!! They were so toxic for each other yet so perfect. Bonnie had the best intentions when starting to write the article about Nightmare, but it went off the rails. Now he won’t even talk to her and the club won’t have anything to do with her. But danger is lurking just around the corner. With the lies and betrayal, mounting, who can they trust? Can Bonnie and Western find their way back to each other?
I had to go back and read Nightmare again last night so I could thoroughly enjoy Western and Bonnies story. Bella Jewel writes really enjoyable stories and this was as good as all the rest. I hope this the beginning of a long line of PoP MC stories, next in line Colt.
Deceiver by Bella Jewel, is the second book in the Prisoners of Purgatory MC Series, you should read Nightmare before diving into this second book as it picks up right where we left off in the first book. It's Bonnie's time to apologize for her big mistake and she will do what she can to get Nightmare's forgiveness but it won't be easy. Now there is more danger lurking and more tests for these two beloved characters, we will also receive answers to many of the questions we asked ourselves, I can only tell you that you must prepare yourself because thousands of emotions will be experienced in this book and you will be glued to it and to the edge of the I sit until the last word. I can't wait for the next story, I can only wish that Colt and Myla have their own story, I loved that woman, she is a force of nature and porbre Colt must prepare. I highly recommend this story, you will enjoy it from beginning to end. *Thanks to Bella Jewel and Valentine PR & Literary Management for my ARC. I voluntarily leave my honest review*
Deceiver de Bella Jewel, es el segundo libro en la Serie Prisoners of Purgatory MC, debes leer Nightmare antes de sumergirte en este segundo libro ya que retoma la historia justo donde la dejamos en el primer libro. Thank you to Bella and Valentine PR for the early copy in exchange for an honest review.
Nightmare was never a nightmare at all. Through all the darkness he's really just a dream!
After the tragic twist at the end of Nightmare, Bonnie doesn't know what to do with herself. She realized she's falling in love with Western but now that her article leaked and he found out who she truly is he wants nothing to do with her. She's lost and now her life is in danger. Bill knows she was close to discovering the truth thanks to that article and now that just made her target #1 and Bill won't let anything stop him from eliminating a threat.
With her life on the line several times and Western practically icing her out she gets desperate enough to come up with a plan that will hopefully keep her safe. But can she truly avoid Western for good? What they shared was raw and true, but can he admit to that or just throw it all away. The push and pull these two have are intense. I definitely internally yelled at these characters several times while my heart broke for them at other times. Bonnie goes through so much shit in such a short period of time but her determined attitude is what keeps her going. She's definitely a strong individual who doesn't like being told what to do and can definitely hold her own.
Thank you Valentine PR and Bella Jewel for an ARC copy of Deceiver. I loved this book so much that I practically devoured it in a day. I knew I was going to love Western after reading the first book and this one solidified that feeling for me. I can't wait to see what you have planned next. I'm not ready for war but I know it must happen. DON'T HURT FURY! (He's to precious).
I liked this one, but the h annoyed me with some of her actions. I liked her a lot more in the first book. While the H did a lot of asshole things in this book, he also had a lot of sweet moments, too. I really enjoyed this duet but definitely take the trigger warnings seriously. I can't wait to for Colts book!! I love Maya already!
**** the h does miscarry in this book. I know this is a sensitive topic for many readers, so I wanted to give a warning.

Oh wow! I can’t even tell you how eager I was to get my hands on the conclusion of Western and Bonnie’s story. Oh boy this story really had me an emotional mess. I absolutely loved this book and I could not put it down at all. It has me crying a lot and I’m not an emotional person or easy to cry but phew this book got me. It was a perfect ending to their journey and I just can’t recommend it enough. I am purposely not giving you much to go by m. All you need to know is that it is very heartbreaking and emotional with lots of angst and you must read it. Highly recommend. Look fluyo more and hope to get Colt and Myla’s journey next.
So much trauma, so much anger, so much heart wrenching moments. Caught in the middle Bonnie doesn’t know what to do. She knows who she wants to believe and love but the consequences might just kill her.
Deceiver by Bella Jewel is book Two in the Prisoners of Purgatory MC Series. This continues the story of Bonnie and Western/Nightmare. Their story started in the first book 'Nightmare'. So, you will need to read that book to fully enjoy this one. This one picks up after the fall out of Bonnie's story being printed without her consent. Western and the MC think she did it and have kicked her out but she is working her way to proving Western innocent. Exciting read. I hope to read more from this author.
Fantastic conclusion to Western and Bonnie’s story. However, Bonnie became slightly annoying in this book- sticking her nose in everyone’s business. I’m excited to read about Colt and Myla next.
Book 1 had me hooked and that cliffhanger had me waiting anxiously for book 2 to come out!
We left off with Western finding out that Bonnie was using him for a story. I felt heartbroken for both of them. It was clear that they were both falling for the other. While Bonnie went into this to clear his name and make a name for herself it was obvious it became more about saving him as she got to know him. Book 2 did not disappoint with the angst that I hoped for with this kind of story. There will be lots of drama and it will not get fixed right away. The danger Bonnie put herself in will hurt and help her with Western. Well done Ms. Jewel!
What an explosive couldn’t put down read in the second book in this must-read new series, nobody does gritty, sexy yet emotional MCs quite like Bella Jewel, as once again I was transported into a world of suspense, mystery, double-crossing and danger, Bonnie may have had the best intention when she started her article on Western, but it couldn’t have gone more wrong, he now won’t even talk to her and the club would nothing more than to throw her in a ditch but the danger is coming for her, as the tension builds and the lies mount who can Bonnie, trust and will she and Western find their way back to each other.
The second part of Western and Bonnie's story picks up from that cliffhanger ending that saw what Bonnie was doing revealed. I enjoyed all the drama, you get a real sense of the feelings of betrayal that Western and the rest of the club feel at her actions. I really wanted to hate Western for some of his actions but I understood it was coming from a place of hurt. There were plenty of twists and turns in the storyline and we did get answers to some of those burning questions. I enjoyed the mix of club business with the sexy love story that still manages to deliver the darker elements I like in MC stories.
✨ARC Review ✨ *** Thank you to Bella Jewel and Valentinepr for the ARC to review. *** Deceiver was so good. I loved and hated Bonnie's and Western's relationship. They were so toxic yet so perfect. The story was so good and all the twists and turns were amazing. I loved and hated Western but I am so glad he got his HEA. Bella Jewel did an amazing job with this story. My heart was pulled in different directions constantly and it was so awesome. The spicy scenes were amazing and I cannot wait for Colt's story! *** ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 ***
4.5⭐️ Weston and Bonnie’s conclusion was done very well. We pick up exactly where we were left in book one. Reading how Bonnie put herself out there to apologize profusely and just beg Nightmare to talk to her was heartbreaking. He was so closed off. But even the tenacious woman she is she could only take so much of being pushed away. I’m so glad their story worked out even though they had to go through so much pain. I’m looking forward to Colt & Mya’s story… seems like it’ll be very entertaining 😂!
Great ending to Western and Bonnie's story! This is as dark as the first one with different elements thrown in. After a major mistake, Bonnie has to come to terms with what happened while also coming to terms that her life is on danger. What will it take for Western to forgive her and help take down the ones tormenting them both? I love how she sets up the next book close to the end of this one as well.
This is book 2 in the Prisoners of Purgatory series and it cannot be read at a standalone. After the jaw dropping cliffhanger at the end of Deceiver, I couldn’t wait to find out what happened between Western and Bonnie. Fast paced, edgy and twisted, this installment didn’t disappoint. Suspenseful and exciting this was a great conclusion to their story. They certainly had to jump through plenty of hoop so we could discover their secrets are learn more revelations about them.
Deceiver is book two in the Prisoners of Purgatory MC and is the continuation of Nightmare and Bonnie's story. If you haven't read book one please do that before reading this book. This book has no chill. The twists and turns a this book took had me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Just be sure to check the TWs.
For the second part of Bonnie and Western's story we get more danger lurking in the corner just waiting to attack. We finally get answers. Plus there's a lot of drama involved. I loved it! It is an easy read that sucks you in. Plus, one thing I appreciate about this book is that the author always kept it true to the biker vibe, even when there was a happy ending, it didn't feel like a fairytale. AND Western's roughness will give you the tingles, wink wink.
Oh wow! This book was so good! Love Western and Bonnie. They are awesomely put together characters. I am also really hoping Colt and Myla get their story!
Well written ending. I think I cried at least 75% of the book. The end was happy tears. Perfect ending and hopefully you Colt and Fury will get there own books soon?
Plot Summary : Bonnie knows she messed up. Her intentions were never bad but the way she approached them certainly was. In the end all she did was ruin the man she loved more than anyone else had before. He was already broken by the world and she delivered the final blow. She knows she has to make things right and for that she is ready to do anything.
Overall Opinion : Bonnie and Nightmare are back! I swear after that cliffhanger of book one , I knew I had to get my hands on this book asap! The way the story unfolds made me love all the characters so much. I get why Bonnie did what she did but I expected her to be more honest about it but I also felt bad for her later.
Nightmare on the other hand , my heart broke for that man. He was always innocent but had to take so much pain from the world just because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I always hoped he would get justice by the end. This duet is absolutely amazing when it comes to storyline and steam. I have been reading Bella for a long time and therefore picked this one asap as I always had faith in her. If there is one thing this woman excels in , it's writing biker romances. She is the queen!
Definitely recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there!
