God's Elephants

Rate this book
Michael Tod's most recent novel set in the dramatic mountains and plains of East Africa. When the young female elephant, Temba Kidogo and her Grandfather, the wise old Tembo M'zee, are inspired to climb Kilimanjaro and seek the sacred tusks of the legendary Tembo Jay, they have no idea of the events their action will trigger. "A 'feel-good' book, vibrant with joy and love."

I love the characters MT brings to his books, both animal & human ... sentient beings all, but struggling to communicate & find a balanced & mutually respectful way to live & enjoy our amazing planet. ‘Be Kind, be gentle & be fair ‘ .... a good mantra to live by
