Cameron’s Homecoming, book six and the final instalment of The North Avenue Live Guys Series written by Sophia Nixs. Another great read!
A trauma medic in the army, Cameron has returned home to the USA! Now he has to adjust to his new reality settling in to life back home. A chance meeting with Zac at the airport during a flight delay has sent Cameron into a tailspin. Zac has “unlocked feelings and emotions” Cameron has “buried deep within a steel cage” for so long.
I particularly enjoyed supportive network of friends both Cameron and Zac have, especially during tough times. They shared an immediate connection, I was drawn in by how these two pursued their undeniable chemistry.
Thank you Sophia Nixs. I have enjoyed this series of sweet love stories. I felt the underlying theme of supportive love, whether it be lovers, family or friends to be the takeaway for me. I look forward to exploring more titles from Sophia.
💖Received a copy from Booksprouts!💖 This book was truly my favorite! We meet Cameron an army medic who’s finally coming home but gets frustrated when his flight gets delayed and Zac a flirtatious singer who’s flight also gets delayed. They meet and instantly hit it off that the join the Mile High Club 😏😏 This MM romance was a beautiful insta-love, military romance, opposites attract book. We see how protective Cameron is with Rebecca and Zac. Cameron was just this beautifully scarred man who just wanted to find someone who loves him unconditionally and he does meet that person in Zac. Zac goes through a situation who no one deserves to go through and mentally scars him and he starts to push Cameron away (which broke my heart) but thankfully Cameron us stubborn 🤣 The ending just made me want more!! Possessive man ✅ Insta-love ✅ Military man✅ Fated love✅
Cameron’s Homecoming by Sophia Nixs is a steamy, insta-love military romance novella releasing as part of the Romance Bunnies Shared World Coming Home Series, as well as the sixth book in the North Avenue Live Guys Series. Cameron was dreading his transition back into civilian life as PTSD hangs over him like a dark cloud. The sun peaked through the clouds, though, when he met Zac in the airport and felt an immediate connection. The universe kept throwing them together, extending their fling, but could they be more? A traumatic event forces both of them to evaluate what matters most.
For personal reasons, I always have a place in my heart for wounded soldiers, especially those suffering from PTSD. I’m often on the fence with novellas though. Because they are so short, they often have little substance in them, but this one is excellent! Yes, there’s an instant sexual attraction and hot and spicy chemistry that we love, but the emotions explored are raw and real, and very well done. I don’t want to give details away, because I was honestly surprised by the twist in the story, but I do want to mention that there is a scene that may trigger victims of violence. I was truly moved by this story and its characters. Cameron was already a hero, but he really solidified that status. Although I didn’t like some of Zac’s behavior, he took care of Cameron as well. They really seemed to complete each other. I look forward to the next character’s book, partly to catch up with these two.😉

I loved Cameron's Homecoming: Coming Home. Cameron is coming home on leave and meets Zac at the airport when their flight is delayed. They have chemistry but didn’t think it would be more than a one time thing. Until, Cameron shows up at North Avenue Live and sees Zac. They can’t stay away from each other but aren’t together. Then tragedy strikes when Cameron is supposed to be leaving. Will he still want to be with Zac? Will Cameron let Zac push him away? Such a sweet story and I loved these characters. There is a few tearful parts. I would definitely recommend this book.

Cameron and Zac's story is load with struggle, heat, heartbreak and acceptance.
Cameron has been discharged from the military and was headed home. Zac has been on the road and was finally taking the break he has needed. Catching each other's eye on the plane, let them to a quick moment in the bathroom, but where parted after they departed.
Fate plays her hand and brings them back together at the North Avenue Live bar, where Zac's friend are and Cameron's cousin works. They may have said they did not want more, but when they are int he same room, the temperature rises and their chemistry ignites.
Great story that I did not want to end.

Transitions usually are never easy. Returning to civilian life can be as much of a shock as when warfighters first join the military. Deployment and engagement can add additional burdens. Serving as a medic adds a heavier load to carry. Cameron met Zac in the airport when Zac was returning property he dropped. They had a connection and were relieved when they were on the same flight to NYC. Cam's final destination is home to TX. There is a lot happening that tests human decency, emotional support and friendship. There is a tragedy that changes the path for our guys. Does Cam make it to TX? Great story! Way too short but the reader is left with a good story. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Zac and Cameron meet at an airport when their flight is delayed. Cameron is back from the military and suffering from PTSD and Zac helps him. Their connection is instant and turns heated quickly but both think it’s a one time thing. When Zac disappears on him when the plane lands Cameron is hurt. Cameron’s cousin works at North Avenue Live so him a Zac are thrown together again and start what they think is a physical relationship only but feeling soon become involved. When Zac is attacked Cameron comes to his rescue and they both open up to how they truly feel! Very emotional, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, drama, danger, hurt, love, friendship and a wonderful HEA.

Cameron is on his way home from deployment, planning on stopping to see his cousin in NY. He is in the airport when his flight is delayed, where he meets Zac who is also traveling to the same destination.
The pair have such a chemistry, they join the mile high club on the flight. Cameron is disappointed when he cannot find him after the flight. Luck is shining on him when the place his cousin works at is the same place where Zac is preforming.
The story maybe triggering as one them is the victim of assault.

I thought this was a cute military type romance. Cameron, a medic nurse, returning home from the war, and Zac, a singer returning from the tour, accidently met in an airport after delayed flights. One thing leads to another, and they start having more than just flirting feelings for each other. After trying to get used to home life again, chaotic chaos in past relations, and building their own relationship, things start to go south. Cameron is one that knows what he wants, won't take no for an answer, and pushes back. This is a must read too find out how it ends. I gave this short novella read 5 stars.
If you believe in the premise that everything happens for a reason. Then all of the darkness that war and its atrocities had inflicted on Cameron mental well being and subsequent PTSD put him in Zac's life in the middle of a busy airport. Cameron had learned through experience that dealing with PTSD requires lots of help. Both personal and professional. Zac's recognition of Cameron's need for a quietvsafe place in the midst of chaos gives them a strong bond. Now the tables are turned and it's up to Cameron to "be there" and support the man he's fallen for after Zac is cruelly assaulted.
Cameron is on his way from on leave when he meets Zach. They have an instant connection and share a heated moment together. Cameron arrives home and his friend Rebecca takes him out to where she works. Shockingly he finds Zach there performing in the bar. Will this be another chance for them? Can they be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I think this was my favorite story of the series! Cameron comes home from deployment and who does he find on his flight home but Zac? Their chemistry is instantaneous and the Nike High Club gets checked off their bucket lists ASAP. There are some short twists and turns in this story, but as always, an HEA for our guys!
The audio was fabulous! Tor Thom is fire as Cameron. Hugo Locke is a new-to-me narrator, but I found his performance lively and heartfelt. Thanks to Blue Nose for giving me the opportunity to listen and leave an honest review!
Cameron went to his sister’s place before going home in Texas after getting a medical discharge met Zac at the airport when their plane was delayed. They hit it off right away Cameron knew that Zac was his but Zac loved to flirt one night it backfired on him but Cameron saved him. Good book!.

This was another great addition to the series, this story was a lot deeper than the other books in the series and covered some hard topics but the author wrote and dealt with them sympathetically. Great book and great series, looking forward to the new series starting.
Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling and action-packed roller-coaster journey filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. An edge of your seat read from beginning to end.
Zac and Cameron are a great couple. The chemistry between them was instantaneous and grew over time to be so much more. Both are what he other needed and be the calm in each other’s lives after all they had been through. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Cute story which starts with a hookup. I've got to be honest, I found myself skimming and flipping through as it just didn't capture me. It's not bad and it may just have been me on the day I was reading.
Audiobook narrators were 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ story was ok. Short. Cams on his way home meets Zac and a one night stand turns into something more. Deals with PTSD .I think Cam deserves better.( that’s just my opinion) .
Zac and Cameron meet at an airport and have an instant connection. Cameron is coming home from the military and is visiting his cousin. When he goes to see her…it turns out Zac is part of her friend group. Cameron and Zac are meant to be! This is a quick hot read that has a lot going on. The characters have some baggage to unpack which makes this story oh so interesting. The author covers a few extremely sensitive subjects very well and it gave this story extra depth. I would definitely read more books by this author.
More from the North Avenue Live Guys. Short stories.
Comeron is returning home and has a four hour flight delay. Zack is on the same flight and they hav a spark from the start. Will they see each other after they land?
