it was a bit toxic at the start, but eunwoo and hyun's relationship got better! i'm so happy she got the love that she has always desired and he got someone who see the good in him. their romance required a lot of trust and support from one another, with him being the prince and her being a palace maid.

Llegit el webtoon i vista la portada de la novel·la em sento una mica traïda ^^' L'inici és totalment horrible (dona de la cort humil, innocent i bonica que ha de satisfer l'horrible príncep hereu, qui està carregat de traumes del passat i s'esbrava a gust amb una noia cada nit, però oh sorpresa se n'enamora perquè "tu no ets com les altres") i el final d'allò més previsible. La narració té greus problemes de ritme: episodis importants es tracten de manera superficial o directament s'ometen, mentre que d'altres més banals, ocupen capítols sencers. D'altra banda, les il·lustracions no em semblen res de l'altre món i les side stories sense censura tampoc no aporten cap interès addicional... L'era Joseon s'està explotant força en el món webtoon/manhwa i em genera curiositat, però em fa l'efecte que se n'està abusant un pèl massa, es fa difícil sorprendre.

The beginning of the story was super toxic I almost dropped the book but then I realised that if you scroll past all the "royal favours" there was an actual plot and that is why I stayed.

Between the jealous king, the evil queen who wanted to reap where she did not sow, the queens father and his cohorts and the evil shaman who predicted the downfall of anyone who went against the crown prince but still went ahead to try to hex him on behalf of the queen, I was thoroughly entertained. It was like watching evil people take turns to hug an active electric pole while knowing the consequences, it was satisfying to say the least.

Finally, the juicer part of the story yunno the romance part, the story was a classic example of she fell first but he fell harder and he did something about it😌.

I came for the smut but stayed for the story. I liked the development of Eun Woo and Hyun's relationship. It started out a bit rocky but the feelings they had for each other were genuine and Hyun did his best to make her his Queen. Both of them were so good to each other - not only did they care for one another but they also had mutual respect which I really liked. Eun Woo's character development was a little slow and although I found her sometimes too meek, she was also trying to protect her own heart. In the end though, they had a happy ending and everyone who plotted their downfall got the endings they deserved.

me leí esta historia en Internet. no encontré el libro o libros ya que deben de ser varios porque es una historia de más de 80 capítulos y algunos extras. es una serie muy fácil de leer y recomendable para pasar el rato; como ahora que tengo que guardar reposo por el resfrío.

-- this is a representation of the toxic world of the royal court, politics, betrayal, too many wives, too many children, and only one can be the first child to become the emperor, and how important it is to choose your empress
-- Eun Woo’s never been one for attention. She’s kept her head low in the palace ever since she first arrived, and all she’s focused on is doing a good job. Her peaceful life is broken, however, when the prince calls her to his bedroom. Lee Hyun is known for never having the same maid in his chambers twice, but Eun Woo keeps lingering on his mind. -- the development of Eun Woo and Hyun's relationship is not fast, and both of them come into it with trust issues, a rocky beginning and the genuine feelings, but both of them are so good to each other - not only did they care for one another but they also had mutual respect which I really liked.
-- the end was purrfect, main heroes are happy and together, the everyone who plotted their downfall got the endings they deserved, Karma is a bitch.
