The Big Beautiful

Rate this book
A book of poetry. There’s an instant warm feeling that comes when Ramadan begins – when the mosques have a light buzz about them and the tarawih & iftar nights have an overwhelming flicker of harmony in the air. When you spend the days hungry but with His miracle, everything about you feels so full. And it’s the most beautiful feeling. But soon Ramadan comes to an end and the dunya returns in full force – that 9-5 becomes slightly unbearable and the Ramadan feeling instantly vanishes. I pray this is the book that brings you little whispers of that Ramadan feeling back into your everyday lives. To make you remember once again -that Allah Himself, is here. For further information & business enquiries, contact us publishingsa@outlook.com

This book had me sobbing on the subway—I had to close it and stare at the ceiling multiple times to avoid ugly crying. This book had me sobbing rereading pages of it while showing it to my cousins and best friend on FaceTime to (successfully) convince them to read it too. This book is devastatingly beautiful. An absolute must-read. ♾️/10

Beautifully Written and Very Calming

This book was honestly very beautiful and calming. I absolutely loved how in touch it was with the Islamic history. I would recommend this book to all my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam hoping you'll find peace in reading it as I did.

Thank you!

100% empfehlenswert🤍🤍🤍🤍

Some poems are kind of repetitive but that’s okay, her overall message is gorgeous

Yes I give it a 5 star because it was so beautiful. When you mix Islam & poetry, it’s stunning and hits hard in your heart. You can actually relate to some of the poems and perhaps some of these poems you can get closer to Allah, learn to even love Him more.
