I asked for help, instead I got engaged to the mafia boss.

He offers her a deal: marry him instead.

Natalia Lourose writes angsty romance about broken people figuring out life and finding love along the way. Television and far too much smut as a teenager left her obsessed with dark-haired bad boys who are moody and wear leather jackets. Tucked away in her writing nook with a dog at her feet, two cats on her keyboard, and husband yelling at the computer – she is always writing something, or trying to.

She loves interacting with fans and fellow book lovers on social media!

I'm glad that I didn't have to wait too long for the books. I basically read the whole trilogy in 2 days! Natalia is a new author to me and reading this trilogy is such a great introduction to her writings. I absolutely loved it!

Rhea and Gian's story was oh so good! I absolutely loved these two. First and foremost, they have such hot and steamy chemistry. And Rhea's character is one I would always adore. She's the defiant type, she's ambitious and strong-willed. She's definitely not one to just act as a trophy and dutiful wife for Gian. But she's so caring and sensitive too. Absolutely the opposite of Gian.

I loved the way the author writes their story. Truly a great conclusion to the trilogy. I can't wait to read more from the author.

Rhea Cabrera doesn't want to play the dutiful mafia daughter to her jerk of a father. The child of her father's mistress, Rhea has spent her life rebelling against the idea that she should be quiet and docile, starting by getting a higher education. Rhea wants to pass the bar exam and change the lives of battered women who wouldn't receive help otherwise - a dream which is shattered when her father announces his plan to marry her off to a man she's never met. Desperate to escape the marriage, Rhea goes above her father's head and pleads with Gian DelGado, Providence Mafia's Boss, not to bless the arrangement. She thinks that's the end of it, until Gian proposes a counteroffer - he himself will marry Rhea.

Gian DelGado has never wanted to settle down, but he must admit that being a family man would be good for his image. So when Rhea Cabrera comes to him asking for a solution to her dilemma, he realizes that he has found an answer. And he has to admit, he's drawn to her in ways he doesn't quite understand. But Gian isn't looking for love, this is purely an arrangement. If Rhea agrees to marry him, he will allow her to become a lawyer, something her father and any other husband will not. In return, she will play the perfect Queen of Providence in public. Surprisingly enough, she accepts.

Neither Rhea nor Gian wanted to get attached. But as sparks fly, things are unsettling deep in the workings of their world. Will feelings deepen before it's too late? Or will they never get that chance?

"Gian" is the incredible conclusion to the DelGado Trilogy by Natalia Lourose. Gian is my favorite of the DelGado siblings, and his story could not have been executed more perfectly. I connected with Rhea as a character because I saw a little of myself in her. All in all, a perfect ending. I can't wait to see more from Lourose in the future!

I received a copy of this book from the author, and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Loved this book till the 70% mark then it lost me... Skimmed the last 30% because I really liked the previous books.

What I didn't like:
Rhea became TSTL, she didn't what to be married to a guy that would make her a thropy, the H did everything in his power to make her life "easy", let her work, gave her 1 million dollars for her to "help" others and still she is always complaining! Didn't feel/connect with what happened to her in college, looked more throw in there for the pitty factor...

-didn't like that the FBI agent was made the villain when he was only doing his job, he was not a dirty cop or a bad person!

- the brother was over kill... Half the book we don't even notice him and then from nowhere he is doing shit after shit and just gets a bullet in the head... Didn't care about the father...

- Actually my favorite character was Gian and liked that he didn't change just because he found love! He was the boss and he needed to be ruthless...

Each book in this series out did the predecessor. I’ve been waiting swings Gio for Gian’s book and it was everything!!

Gian is the eldest of the 3 DeGaldo siblings and also the Il Cabo. He’s was previously a bit of a dark horse, but we learn he has so much depth to him.

Rhea we met in Gemma, she’s an attorney in training and SUPER independent (with good reading), she’s the bastard daughter of one of the mafia elders and had a terrible upbringing due to her father.

G&R had a marriage of convenience and let’s just say they were constantly battling their whits against each other.

It’s sad to see the series end but it ended beautifully. Hopefully we get a next gen series 😉😉

"You're an a******"... That about sums up Gian's character lol, but we loved it! Gian is the new boss in Providence, so naturally he's going to have quite an alpha, takes no prisoners attitude. We definitely see that side of him, both with his men, family and Rhea. And can we talk about what a power move the marriage proposal was lol, I loved that! As much as he was an alpha, we did get to see quite a sweet side to him too, I think. The little touches whenever they were in the kitchen together and the reason for the carousel made me love him more.

I really liked Rhea's character too, she was strong willed and sassy, not afraid to push back as hard as she needed to with Gian. I'm really, really glad that we got to see her push for her career ambitions throughout and she didn't just give up on them. The scene where Gian tells her about the car absolutely killed me lol.

I think the author did a really good job of giving the main females in this series different personalities, and Rhea's was definitely one who didn't beat around the bush. I do wish we'd have learnt a bit more about Isabella though, as I felt like there was more to her story than just being a mistress, but it was nice to see Rhea having a good relationship with Elena. Oftentimes the stepmother is made out to be an evil witch who is jealous or out to get the main h, but Elena seemed like a kind soul, especially given the position she was in.

One of the main things I liked about this book though, was how the ending played out, after what happens with Rhea. I'm glad that it didn't all end with sunshine and daisies where everything played out with no deaths. Some of the characters still ended up losing people, whereas oftentimes they will be given mercy because of who they are in relation to one of the main characters, and it was unexpected to see that not happen here.

Overall, this was again quite a fast paced book, but I enjoyed it -I literally read it in the space of a few hours lol. It starts out with a bit of a twist that makes you feel for Gian, and there were others within the rest of the book that I wasn't expecting to play out as they did. Rhea and Gian were a good couple together, and I liked that it wasn't all about them trying to deny their feelings for each other because they started off with an arranged marriage. Again, I would have liked to see a bit more of Gian and Gio's relationship as they're supposed to be close, but it didn't necessarily detract from the storyline. Definitely want to see more of them and the rest of the DelGado family in the future though!

Let me start by saying I read this book in one seating; I just couldn't put it down. Rhea and Gian couldn't be more perfect together.

Gian is the last book on The Delgado Trilogy; from the moment I started the trilogy, I was dying to read about Gian; he was always portrayed as the cold and emotionless out of the three siblings.

Love was never in the picture for Gian; neither was having a family and settle down. For Gian, the whole purpose for everything has always been work. As the mafia capo, he never does anything without a purpose; for him, any situation that doesn't benefit him or La Famiglia is not worth it, so imagine when he realises that marrying someone will benefit his image in front of La Famiglia.

Rhea is looking forward to two things; one is, getting out of her father clutches, and the other, she wants to become a lawyer; she wants to help a lot of girls who don't get the justice they deserve. Rhea is working really hard to achieve her goals, and she doesn't need any distractions, especially not the one named Gian. After some unexpected decision made by her father, which she doesn't agree with, her only chance to escape is the deal that Gian is offering her, and that is an arranged marriage between the two.

One thing Gian & Rhea can't deny is the attraction they feel for each other, an attraction none of them seem to understand, much less admit. What started as an arranged marriage with no real intentions turned into a beautiful love story.

I love Natalia Lourose and her writing; I always get lost between pages, only to come out when I'm done with the book. I love what she did with the Delgado Trilogy; each book for each sibling was perfect on its own. I can't wait to see what she will bring next.

A beautiful but real and raw story where there's no such thing as the perfect happily ever after!

Gian, oh boy, what an asshole but my kind of asshole, haha. He is the kind of guy who battles with his demons and can act, well like an ass, but is the most loyal, protective and loving person. When he lets you inside his heart, he'll love you like no other. He treats Rhea like the queen she is and would tare the world apart to keep her safe, despite of his best efforts to not feel anything even close to love towards her.

Rhea is soft and has the kindest heart. She only wants to help others and cares for everyone around her very deeply. But she is also very sassy and stands up to herself. And she definitely doesn't let Gian of the hook so easily just because he is the mafia capo and instead makes him work for her respect. Rhea is his little monster, love that.

They're the perfect badass couple that I absolutely adore. They challenge each other and understand each other in a deeper level, once they get through their walls. I love the small sweet moments with them the most, like when they're in the kitchen and when he takes her to the carousel, which you'll understand the meaning of when reading and it will just melt your heart completely.

Gian has a soft spot for Rhea and damn it's beautiful. He only lets her see those sides to him and the vulnerable moments with him are the most precious. He can be pretty ruthless but when it comes to Rhea, you truly see how much he deep down cares and how he's just a little lost. Oh but we obviously can't forget his alphaness that simply makes you swoon! These two gave me all the feels, I was teary eyed so many times! I seriously love them with my entire heart! They have the perfect chemistry and it's portrayed so well.

This is intense. There's betrayal and twists you can't possibly see coming. There's heart beating fast moments and it keeps you utterly hooked. It's touching. And it's also incredibly beautiful. Natalia Lourose has a way with words and you can't help but fall for every single aspect of the story and feel the beautiful words deep in your soul!

"Is it possible for the man to be both the hero and the villain of my story?"

WOW!!!! 💥💥I have been waiting for Gian's book since book 1. There was something about him that intrigued me. This book was everything I wanted to read. I was not disappointed.

Gian is such a sexy AF alpha that was built to protect his loved ones.🥵🥵 Gian is a monster in a suit but he wears that title so well.

I loved the chemistry between Rhea and Gian from the beginning. Their arranged marriage was only suppose to be a transaction. A way for Gian to appear perfect in the eye of the public. This arrangement was suppose to protect Rhea from being married off to someone else.
Gian and Rhea knew what they were getting into, what they did not except is to have an attraction for each other. To want to give up their beliefs and just give it a go.

💥Well they did and the book got even hotter‼💥

My ❤ is happy and satisfied because Gian is everything I pictured him to be. Well except the humor. I didn't expect him to have a little sense of humor. I thought he was funny. LOL.

I wish I can rate this book more than 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am sad to see this series end. 😪

Gian, the third and final book in the DelGado trilogy- is my first read by author Natalia Lourose.
Her books have been brought to my attention at the beginning of this year and while I have had “Gio” on my Kindle locked and loaded, it took me until Gian’s release was imminent to dive head-first into Natalia’s writing.

Rhea Cabrera is the daughter of a mobster and his mistress. Since her mother died when she was young, she was raised by her son-of-a-b father, Joe, and her stepmother, Elena.
When her dad arranges a marriage between her and a deadbeat, Rhea- who is a head-strong, sassy lawyer- does everything in her power to not have to marry that guy- and finds herself on the other side of a business agreement with Gian DelGado, king and boss of Providence.

While a big part of the book is about Rhea and Gian’s developing feelings, things go bump in the night.
I’m going to name it “the subplot”, because I don’t want to spoil it, but “Gian” is a suspense-filled dark romance with surprising twists and turns, a gian(t) asshole that carries his heart in the right spot and steamy scenes that are just swoon worthy!

I’m super excited to start reading the rest of Natalia’s other books and am giving this a solid five stars.

The last book of the Trilogy DelGado, and OMG ! I just love, LOVE the trilogy. I was really excited to read about Gian's story, who was described as cold, handsome, and without mercy underneath his three pieces suit. I was in a book slump since few months now, but as soon as I started the trilogy, I couldn't put it down.

Rhea is sassy, smart, fierce, everything but a doormat. She stands for herself, and the back and forward between Gian and her is really refreshing.
Gian is the capo of the mafia, and he needs to get married but has no interested to it, until he met Rhea. A marriage of convenience, turns out into a love story. But the L word is forbidden, especially for the Capo of Providence. I loved this book, and the two others as well. I'm sad that the trilogy is over, maybe we can have a stand alone for Andrew, the best made man of Gian ? His character gets more important, and now I'm curious about his background and what will he become, after his promotion.

Gian comes out on March, 3rd, you can pre order now : https://www.amazon.com/Gian-Arranged-...

I look forward to reading more stories about Natalia Lourose, she's a fantastic author.

I've been waiting for Gian's book ever since I read Gio. And this book shows that for a very good reason. This right here is a masterpiece. Gian is a huge asshole, but one you hate to love and love to hate.

Natalia did him justice with everything. There're steamy scenes, great emotions and lots of action. Everything you might need in a book. Just like in the whole series. So go and freaking read it. So worth the money, time and ever wrecking your own heart just to put it back together.

Remember how I told you that I feel so connected to the DelGado(s)? Gian just strengthen that bond for me even more.

Rhea Cabrera was an unwanted illegitimate daughter of made-man Joe Cabrera & Isabella D'Amelio. When Isabella passed away, Rhea was left with Joe and her wife + his son. Joe mistreated her so badly, however Elena; his wife loved Rhea like her own.

Rhea was promised to another family in marriage in which she seeked the help of Gian the 𝙄𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙤 of the 𝘓𝘢 𝘍𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘢. Gian offered to marry Rhea in return.

Their marriage was unconventional, it wasn't based on love but things progressed very well, only to take an ugly turn 😔😔😔

Once Gian goes live, please 1-click your copy and you'll be in for a rough ride 😭💕

From the dedication this story already started playing my heart strings. What begins as an enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, quickly morphs into so much more. For someone who hasn’t been shown much love since she was 10, Rhea sure knows how to give it. I love her fire and determination to do what is right. Gian, on the other hand, doesn’t care about your moral beliefs. He will do what needs to be done and not have a care in the world. His hands on approach leads to trouble, but the betrayal in this book is wholly unexpected. Excellent story, and a series you don’t want to miss.

So Much Potential

This book started off quite well. I was so excited to read a mafia romance where the woman is a bada**. But instead the story that began with so much promise fell flat after the first half.

I won't give any spoilers, but the last 30% really annoyed me. The pacing was off and the plot itself wasn't good.

I think this author can do better, they just need to improve their story building skills.

Gian and Rhea's story is something to die for (really bad references/pun) I don't read this trope very often; mafia romance, enemies to lovers and arranged marriage.

Gian and Rhea never were all for love in their life, different situations of upbringing but somewhat of the same circumstances. This arranged marriage did just that but they didn't expect it to come at them. Yet attractions for each other were very strong and there from the moment they met.

Without giving away too much. Gian is a ruthless cold-blooded mob King. He does his dirty work and all in for La Famigila. He's not one to want to settle down or have a family. For that he has his reasoning and to cut love out of the equation too. He's a made man with a tough upbringing.

Rhea is a head-on sassy girl with a story of her own. She's been let down all her life by men that toss her around but she's determined to serve justice for those who's been in her place. This is where the arrangement came in, it held the bargains on both ends for them.

First and foremost I'd like to thank the author Natalia for giving me this opportunity to read Gian even though I have not read Gio or Gemma but I surely will because now I'm very curious of their story and how it became to be of what I've read in Gian. 😱

Gian and Rhea relationship transition was rather quick than I expected but it was good nonetheless. The chemistry was hot and steamy which I believe transitioned in the right direction to where it headed; passion and lust blurred in. To keep it discreet as possible, I didn't expect how it ended. I even love the villains in this. Natalie, you wrote your characters so good. I even felt bad for Rhea's brother! (Tease! 😉)

I really loved Rhea's character so very much, she's so strong-willed yet can be so sensitive with a caring heart for what she wants to do to help others. Much want be a lawyer in like a way in Gian's father spot (tease there for you!) Gian's was a tough nut to crack...he's like a made of steel against emotions but one look at Rhea, everything has changed for him (Swooned yet? 😍)

The bit of action/suspense had me on edge! It shook my heart how it changed both Gian and Rhea from the beginning to how it ended. Despite how their story started and ended up as, there's no other way I don't think either would have wanted it. This was perfect in it's own way! 🖤

I look forward to reading Gio and Gemma's story

**Trigger warning sexual assault, physical abuse and violence

Gian is the final installment in The DelGado trilogy; although each novels are standalones, I highly recommend reading the first two. This will enhance your reading experience; the storylines are interconnected.  I just recently came of across Natalia Lourose's work, she now happens to be one of my favorite authors! I absolutely loved The DelGagdo trilogy and what a book to conclude this amazing series. The ending of this novel was epic! The DelGado siblings may not come eye to eye with everything, but they got each others' backs, no matter what. Okay, let me say this, the build up and tension between the main characters, Rhea and Gian was incredible. Rhea cannot stand Gian's cockiness, but she cannot deny the fact that she's attracted to him.  Every so slowly, Rhea and Gian bring each others' guard down. And begin to see each other in a new light; being able to be just themselves', without their guard or facade up.  Rhea is a strong willed female character; she fights for what she believes in and doesn't back down without a fight. Gian may hate to admit it but he loves the fire and sass in Rhea.

Rhea Cabrera's family is in the mafia; loyal to La Famiglia. For most of her life, Rhea has been living under her father's thumb; she had no say in her life choices. Gian DelGado is the head of the La Famiglia. When Rhea's father announced that she was arranged to be married, she had no choice but to turn to the person that she despises the most, Gian DelGado for help. Gian offers a proposition to Rhea that will benefit them both. Gian needs to boost his image in the La Famiglia and what a better way than to portray as a married man.  By marrying Gian, Rhea will avoid an arranged marriage she didn't want in the first place. And finally breaking free from her father's clutches. But as time moves on, the lines get blurred; is it really a fake marriage or will it turn into a real one?

Rhea Cabrera has spent her life living under her father's thumb and she’s ready to
escape. Only her escape is dressed in an expensive suit and is a mobster. One who offers her a deal too good to refuse.

Gian Delgado, the boss of the Providence mob, is a cool and calculated man. He has worked hard to get to his throne. The only thing standing between him and utter loyalty from his members is for him to be considered a family man. When a simple solution presents itself he jumps at the opportunity.

An arranged marriage. One were they both help the other out without getting in each others way. Only shared looks and home cooked meals slowly bring them together. "Is it possible for the man to be both the hero and the villain of my story? Both my savior and my monster?"

This mafia arranged marriage was a hit for me! Saved the best couple for last for sure. Gian being a 'best face forward', constant control type of guy and Rhea being a big-hearted, strong opinion type of woman. They are both so alike but so different they not only complete but also challenge the other. Slowly finding themselves catching feelings, even though they each try and fight the possibility, a big hiccup forces them to acknowledge and show their love.

Looking back again on all three books I love how their stories intertwine together without crossing the other. Each can be read as a stand alone but are definitely better read in order. Each book giving a '5 years later' epilogue ending.

Gian- This was my second favorite book of the Trilogy and probably the darkest.

Gian is the boss of the Providence mafia, he doesn't have time for love or relationships. Since he has recently taken over as "the boss" he spends all his time making sure he is running a tight ship- but when a nosy FBI agent and a new sassy girl working at his dads law office his world is about to change.

Overall in regards to writing quality and plot the third book was by far the best of the series.

I was excited to read Gian's book after reading the blurb and seeing him be this cold aloof man adjusting to the role of Mafia boss in the previous books.

I have to admit though I was disappointed by the character development and pace. I never really got any true depth from either Gian or Rhea when it comes down to it. And Rhea's combative attitude throughout their entire marriage was exhausting and yet they somehow managed to screw each other every chance despite their dislike/contention between one another. It felt wooden and shallow. Something about it didn't flow for me. I didn't get a organic progression into them falling in love with one another. Sure, there was some stuff to build with but not enough IMO.

The story plot was pretty interesting but ultimately the shallow like story telling between the MCs Rhea and Gian left me disappointed and feeling like something was missing. I never got that spark from them regardless of Rhea's "sass" and Gian loving it.

If you're not a mafia book snob and have read as many as me you'll probably love this one and not be as picky as I was tbh.

Two souls broken by deaths around them who become turmoil for each other's souls

" I wanted to run from a monster only to land in the arms of another monster " but she's not scared of this monster because "he's the hero and the villian of her story "
Gian a monster who never realised he could bend on his knees for anyone but here he is on mercy of his wife and he's happy bending on his knees for her .
Two souls broken by deaths around them who become turmoil for each other's souls and now are bound by love .
An arranged marriage mafia romance which will wound your emotions around it's words and you will not want this book to end .
A story of love happening its own pace and becoming a beautiful journey to go along .
An amazing series came to an end 😩 I loved this series all the characters being it a strong women like Gemma or a bastard monster like Gian .
Every character has it's own story which is deeply encoated with emotions to let you stick around the pages of these books .

Let me start by saying, I read this in a long afternoon.
This book was everything. It was so fun to read. The writing is impeccable. I loved the first two books but I think this is my fave from the series. I was a quote from this and immediately knew I’ll read all the books to get to that part.
I love mafia romances. I hate that it sometimes gets really bloody but i totally get why. I was so excited to read this. It was like I wanted to see what happened next while not wanting to finish it while also waiting for the show to drop and something go terribly bad... and when that came. It changed everything. Surprisingly for the better.
I love how they got their happy ending, how all the siblings got their happy ending, they do deserve it.
Another thing that’s amazing and totally new to me is the epilogue. I’ve never read a series with the same epilogue plot and it’s the best thing ever. So creative.
I don’t want to let this series go, but I also can’t wait to see what comes next from the author

4.75/5⭐️ It was unconventional. Arranged. Forced. Rhea was stubborn and independent, raised to take a beating while also accepting no BS. Gian was the new boss of Providence Mafia, reigning king and executioner. His hands too dirty, hers too clean. She sought justice for all by the law, he took justice without the law.

Opposites. The monster under the bed and the girl who brings it cookies🍪

They worked. Pushed through. Both learned to love and receive it, too. Although their lack of communication and self-admission delayed much of it, the lessons and hate s*x hurled them further towards the edge.

An edge the both fell from.

And thank f*ck Natalia can write. Honestly y’all. I cried(Ik I say it a lot but seriously). And sure it took me soooo fcking long I didn’t even write the start date.. but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Gian is my new comfort. Rhea another queen to applaud. All applause to Natalia, wrapping it up with a nice bloody shirt and white rose.😅

Until next generation…

decent I suppose

I’ve read all 3 Delgado trilogies . They all had their strengths and weaknesses but if I had to rate them all I would put gain at the bottom. Which kinda of sucks because I was most excited to read his. By the end of the trilogy Gian , Gio and Liam basically blended into one ‘ possessive love interest ‘ personality . Same with the main girls Annie , Gemma , abs Rhea.

My main complaint with Gio was that the sex felt too rushed and out of nowhere . With Gian it’s more paced which makes it happen more realistic. However the rest of the novel basically lacks any action. I read so much but it felt like nothing barely happened . There weren’t any tense moments like in Gio.

This might be my personal opinion but the sex scenes felt repetitive and lackluster it fell into the same pattern that lasted 3 pages . Overall it’s an okay read but a bit disappointing specially after gio was actually kinda good .

Rhea has no intention of being the dutiful mafia wife. She has plans and ambitions and she's determined to get to where she wants. Her father has other ideas. When she Asks Gian for help to stop an arranged marriage that will be little more than business deal for her father however, she bites off a little more than she expects.

Gian never wanted a wife. He knows all too well how much of a target they can be for his enemies. Having on just for appearances should be ok though right? No need to get attached.

sparks end up flying in more than one way and both Rhea and Gian will have to face the truth before its too late. I loved the dynamic between these two and getting a glimpse into how the other two brothers lives have changed too. Natalia doesn't pull any punches and she's more than happy to make tough choices for her characters. I'm super excited for more from this author in the future!

This is Gian's and Rhea's story. Gian's character is the most unforgiving and lethal amongst his siblings. He is driven by bloodlust, revenge and the act of death. He gets off on killing people. He is not your boy next door and begins the final book in the trilogy as a real badass. In comes Rhea's character who is feisty, smart and a heroine I absolutely adore. She is the epitome of the kind of character Gian needs to counterbalance his changing personality/moods and the demons that drive him to do and act as he does.

Their story is full of twists and turns, revelations, bloodlust and death. A slow burn love story evolves early in their arranged marriage with sizzling sexual chemistry between the two characters. The sex and lust comes first with the actual "love story" coming later. Rhea's character is defiant/strong and entertaining throughout the novel while Gian's character bounces between being the all powerful Don to a man that finds himself wanting and needing something he never thought was possible for him....the love and support of a woman.

It is well written with a good story line and character development. While some of these stories can drag or get too convoluted this storyline stays right on point. Enjoy!

Absolutely loved this story!

This is a fantastic enemies to lovers romance that will hook you right from the start and keep you fully entertained right to that amazing ending.

Rhea is one fierce spitfire of a woman. She has so much strength and fire that she doesn’t back down from much. Gian is the opposite. He’s demanding, domineering and one sexy alpha man. Theirs is a love story that starts out as a convenient alternative to an otherwise horrible situation. It then turns into something neither one of them expected.

I loved every thrilling moment of this story and then some. With fantastic writing, phenomenal characters and a storyline filled with all kinds of twists and turns that kept me captivated and entertained, it was everything you want in a mafia romance.

It was too long (though by page count it wasn't). It felt too long. Some monologues/dialogues were repetitive. The heroine was annoying:at times was full of herself, wasn't consistent at all. The fact that for the most part she thought everyone failed her, but still saw her brother as almost a saint and best friend everytime made me roll my eyes, therefore i got a headache at some point. The twists and turns felt forced. Could not feel the chemistry between main characters, even a bit. The hero was just meh and wasn't consistent as well. I noticed a few instances where something was said or happened in one way and some pages/chapters forward the same thing were presented differently.
