Three weddings at one isolated venue. Three dead bodies. Three missing brides… And one of them is a killer.

Lucy longs to be a wife. She craves the stability her older fiancé, Henry, provides. But Henry’s angry teenage son, Jacob, is looking for any opportunity to get rid of Lucy. When he catches her in a moment of weakness, he has all the ammunition he needs.

Claire can’t wait to marry Adrianna, but her stalker is making life difficult. After jury duty on a gruesome murder trial, someone starts sending her horrific crime scene photos. She’s convinced the brother of the man she helped to convict is behind them. And then an unwanted guest shows up at the wedding…

Mila and her fiancé Rafael are picture-perfect. Young, beautiful, and rich, their winter wedding is set to be stunning. But Mila’s past is coming back to haunt her. In fact, Mila isn’t even her real name.

On Christmas Day, as the three brides arrive at their venue, the perfect storm hits, cutting every guest, invited or otherwise, from the rest of the world. One of the brides stumbles alone into the snow, her hands bloody from what she just did…

This chilling psychological thriller by bestselling author Sarah A. Denzil is not one to miss. Set in the atmospheric Lake District, it’s the perfect winter read.

I'm happy to announce that FIND HER is now available to preorder! https://geni.us/KQ7TcO

This book was a lot of fun to write, and I would say it's a little different from some of my previous books. It's more complex, with more characters, and very mysterious, with the first chapter opening with a murder. You don't know who the killer is, but you also don't know who the victim is. Oh, but you do know the killer is a bride, and she's about to disappear into the snow...

Anyway, I can't wait to share this book with you! A few review copies have already gone out, and I'm so intrigued to know what you think!

Sarah

*ETA*

There are two days until FIND HER is released! I thought I'd let you know some fun facts!

1. The original title was The Lost Bride, but I changed my mind before I finished writing it.
2. It's set in a fictional area in the Lake District (which is a real place and absolutely gorgeous).
3. I started writing this book in 2021, but I got writer's block halfway through and needed to take a break. I finally finished it earlier this year.
4. I believe this book has the most character POVs of any I've written.
5. One of the characters in this book is a favourite of mine and I'd love for you to guess when you're finished reading!

There's still time to preorder: https://geni.us/KQ7TcO

3.5!

I'm always excited to read a new release from Sarah Denzil. This one grabs you right away and doesn't let go! It consists of three separate character groups. Each story is occurring simultaneously. The connections unfold, piece by piece.

Once more of the truth is revealed, I admit, personally, I wanted parts of the storylines to work out a different way. The conclusions ultimately were underwhelming. Or perhaps they felt lacking. A good book. A great book, if 100 pages longer.

Creative, especially with the complexities of weaving three different well thought out storylines. It was well spun. I'll be eagerly awaiting the author's next one!

So many characters, so many story lines!

Kudos for keeping all the balls in the air, but man there was a lot going on in this book. The gothic-like location added to the atmospheric setting, an interesting take on all the plots, and the writing is good.

But…a few too many coincidences for me, too many deranged characters in one place at one time and lapses in logic as to why people would do what they are doing lowered my overall rating of this novel.

Loads of four and five star reviews, so check those out too!

It’s wedding day at the Wilder House and everyone is caught in a snowstorm. Everything turned chaotic after the snowfall. People were out looking for a missing grandmother. Some guests couldn’t make it due to the snow, others were sequestered to there rooms.
It’s Christmas Day with three weddings scheduled. Colleen, the wedding coordinator is frantically working with all three brides to provide the best wedding experience. Little does she know that warning bells are ringing around the three couples. Each have secrets that manifested into a fear induced day. No one could’ve predicted the danger that was about to happen.
Find Her is a character driven story with each character behaving in suspicious ways. As Sarah A Denzil navigates readers into the mysterious disappearance of several members of the wedding party she also shares backstories from the three brides.
Four parts. Fifty-eight chapters and an epilogue make up this book.
The fun was in trying to decode the lies and figure out how all the pieces fit together. It’s a busy storyline with plenty of suspicious activity.
Sarah Denzil is an impressive British suspense writer who writes twisty psychological thrillers. Find Her has many twists and turns. Her writing skills kept the story moving fluidly. It’s a hard book to put down. I wanted to read it in one sitting. Sarah makes reading fun and enjoyable. She got me out of my reading slump. I love when Sarah has a new book release. I drop everything just to crack open one of her story’s. The cover is stunning. The title is catchy. The characters are intriguing. The way Sarah bounces around information has my brain trying to play catch up. There’s so many details that I find myself flipping back to previously read pages to verify the information.
There are multiple points of view : Claire, Lucy, Mila, The Bride, Henry, Jacob, and Colleen. Sarah A Denzil did a great job introducing each one of these characters while allowing a smooth transition between points of view. My memory jogged back easily into the characters point of view.

Wow!!!!! This book kept me guessing from the very first page. There are twists and turns galore and you will love every minute of it. This is psychological suspense at it's finest. Sarah is one of the queens in this genre and I can't get enough of her excellent writing style and ability to reel you in with secrets and lies revealed little by little. You will not want to put this book down until you reach the satisfying conclusion.

3.5 stars. Enjoyed reading this. Thought it was very suspenseful and loved seeing the plot unravel. I just felt like it ended very suddenly without much of a conclusion

My first book by Sarah A Denzil and it won’t be my last! This was a rollercoaster of a book - twists and turns aplenty. An absolute page turner so don’t read this if you have things to do - you won’t get them done!
Set from multiple POV going back and then forward again to the present day but you don’t ever lose track of the story or the characters. Exceptionally well written and I loved how the story all came together at the end. Loved all the brides - Mila being my favourite.
If I could give this more than a 5 star rating I would 😊

I love a good thriller and Find Her didn’t disappoint! Christmas Day weddings sound like a dream but that’s not what happens here at all.

I enjoyed how Find Her was told from different POVs as I loved learning more about the characters themselves.

The isolated venue of Wilder House is the perfect setting and makes for such a good read for this time of year. Find Her definitely gave me the chills in parts and I was not ready for the twists and turns. The book is such a page turner, I couldn’t put it down I just had to see how it all ended!

I can’t wait to read more books from Sarah A. Denzil in the future. If your on the look out for a psychological thriller for the Winter season I’d recommend checking this one out for sure😊

Oh my gosh I loved this book!

We follow 3 couples in the build up to their wedding day, with all three weddings due to take place in the same remote venue on Christmas Day during a snow storm - what could possibly go wrong?!

Find Her gets off to an explosive start and it had me hooked from page 1! The narrative switches back and forth between the present (the big day!) and the past, where we follow the stories of Lucy, Claire and Mila. I loved reading each of the women’s stories and the complexities of their relationships with their fiancés and the families they are marrying in to.

The snowy setting really added to the atmosphere and the feeling of isolation. I loved how the stories all started to intersect as the brides arrived at the hotel for their wedding days. There are so many reveals in the last few chapters, with suspense building and building, that it was impossible to predict the ending!

This book was the perfect fast-paced winter thriller!

I really enjoyed the read-along chat for this one - everyone loved the book and it was really fun seeing everyone’s reactions and discussing theories.

This was my first Sarah Denzil book and it definitely won’t be the last!

Sarah A Denzil is one of those go to authors, I never have to read the blurb about the book, I can just go in blind. That is rare for me.

Yet again a great book with lots of twists and turns. Fast paced from several POVs. Loved it, had I been at the beach I would have devoured it one sitting.

Has all the hallmarks of making a great TV adaptation.

If you've never read a Sarah A Denzil book, do so. I love her nods to mental health which are carefully researched, although there wasn't a MH theme in this book, I enjoyed nonetheless 😀

There was too many character story lines and not enough excitement or twists to be worth the many stories/ POVs.
For a thriller there was not a lot of thrill! Not terrible though it wasn’t a DNF!

I was given an ARC of this book and I loved it from beginning to end because I thoroughly enjoy psychological mystery thrillers and this ticked all the boxes.

There are three brides, three grooms and a further cast of characters that fit into the plot/s very well. There are several points of view and several mysteries to solve -who's good, who's not? The twists and turns were excellent as the story unfolds and the characters are developed.

It was well-written and fast-paced and compelling from the start. There was a great sense of place, tension, suspense and an excellent psychological slant.

Highly recommended.

"A moan came from the drivers seat, and she turned her head sharply towards the sound. The man lifted his face from the steering wheel and groaned in pain. The sight made her stomach flip. Blood dribbled down his lips and chin, gushing from the place his nose used to be. You could hardly call it a nose now. A misshapen lump would be more accurate. His mouth opened, and gurgling red saliva trickled down his bottom lip."

I want to thank @sarahadenzil for sending me a signed copy after I won a giveaway on a Facebook group.

Have you ever read a book where you've disliked every single character? This was one of those for me. I just couldn't find anything to like about any of them. Most of them had secrets they were hiding, some of them made incredibly stupid mistakes, Henry was completely blind when it came to his son and Jacob... well, he was a creepy little incel, so that was kinda the point.
Three brides, three separate stories that all come together at the end. Each bride has a completely different story. All are interesting and certainly had me reading on. I felt like the ending was a little underwhelming, personally. It's not that it wasn't good, because it was. I think maybe I had built up ideas in my head of how it was going to end, and then it went a different way. But that's on me.

I have a slight issue with the book itself, though. The first page of every chapter had a grey background with white writing. I have extremely poor eyesight and honestly I really struggled to read those pages. The pages look pretty, but they just made it a little difficult to read.

This jumps right into the action--a bride is in a bad car accident with a man (presumably her fiance? although this is a book where you shouldn't make assumptions), and instead of helping him, she smothers him to ensure he dies--and the action never lets up. I received an early copy of this just two days before its US publish day, and had absolutely no problem getting through it in time!
*
There are three weddings taking place on Christmas Day, and this is told in alternating POVs primarily through three of the brides and the wedding planner (although you do get some other POVs eventually), as well as flashbacks to the weeks leading up to the weddings. If you can keep that straight (I had no problem with that) then you will fly through this! It does a great job of building suspense, especially as each bride has a reason to potentially be the woman in the car.
*
Also, literally every man in this book is just the worst. Not even shades of gray, but truly truly awful. It made me that much more excited to find out who dies at the beginning.
*
The storyline that resonated with me the most was Lucy's, going into a situation with a nasty future step-son, and how she struggled with figuring out the line between a true threat and the antics of a teenage boy who doesn't want a new mom.
*
Overall I really liked this, I found it exciting and the ending was completely satisfying. It's a great quick read for winter!

My Review:
Another fantastic read from the amazing Sarah A Denzil. I first fell in love with her when I read her book Silent Child. Ever since that one she has been one of my favorite authors to read. I have yet to read a book by her that I haven’t loved. In my opinion she is the Queen of Suspense. There are so many twists and turns in her books that I’m left shocked and speechless. One of these days she is going to give me a bloody heart attack. Now let’s talk about this book for a minute. What should be the happiest day of your life turned out to be a total nightmare. Who wouldn’t want to pick up a book that had that as their story line. So this was a fun quick read that I couldn’t put down for the life of me. It was told through multiple perspectives which I loved. Every character had something to hide and it was hard to figure out what was going to happen next. I had to race through each chapter just so I could find it all out. When I did I was wowed. Kudos to another great read by this fabulous author.

In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This book was so exciting, I thought the plot was very unique and I loved the characters. The book followed the three brides as their wedding day approached, a lot of things happened to them all individually which made the ending very action packed when they all came together. All the brides were getting married on Christmas Day at the same venue so you can imagine all the chaos this brought to the venue. I would definitely describe this book as a jigsaw puzzle because I was trying to work out which pieces fit together. The ending was very satisfying and I enjoyed where the author took the book.

I loved how this book was separated into different parts so signify the different stages of the wedding timeline. Also, we got to read in the perspective of the three brides, as well as a couple of chapters from the wedding planner, who was organising all three weddings. We also got to read from the perspective of one of the missing brides which was very mysterious. There is a couple of chapters from other characters in the book as well. I thought this layout gave the reader a good perspective of all the brides and their personal lives. I felt like I knew the characters very well as I read further into the book.

All the brides had very different things going on in their lives which made it so interesting when the author wrapped it all up at the end of the book. The author made the brides very likeable and intriguing. There were some other characters who I was very suspicious of, I wasn’t sure who I wanted the brides to trust. There was such a variety of different characters in this book, although I was never confused by who they were as the author introduced them wonderfully.

Overall, I thought this book was a great read and was a perfect setting for the winter time. The writing was incredible and it was amazing how the book came together at the end. Also, the epilogue gave a good final round up of the brides lives after this event.

This was such an interesting and different read from @sarahadenzil and I enjoyed it. I think I was expecting something completely different and I found it hard to keep up with all the different characters but once I got into the book, it was freaky, spooky and thrilling.

It was a guessing game right from the beginning and I found each character to be just as twisted as the next. I found myself trying to guess who ‘The Bride’ was and to be honest, I didn’t guess right. I done my rounds each time and at one point, thought it would be them all!

It was a rollercoaster of a ride, the book creeped me out at points, I think Lucy is a brave woman having to deal with Jacob; he’s quite a twisted young boy but I also get that he will have a lot of anger building up in him.

This was a #readalong with @instabooktours and it was great, I didn’t stick to the schedule because I got so caught up in it all that I couldn’t stop once I got going.

Thanks Vic for having me on tour with you as always and to Sarah A Denzil for allowing me a copy of your book. Another belter of a read.

A fascinating psychological mystery thriller that made my autumn complete, though it had stunning and chaotic winter vibes.

Sarah A. Denzil never fails to deliver thriller plots which always keeps heart racing and make it binge worth reading.

An atmospheric isolated venue, missing brides, multiple murders, many secrets and dramas made the plot fast pacing and a real page turner. There are multiple point of views that kept me entertained and guess for clues and twists. The transition between the characters point of views are smooth and well constructed. The characters are well developed and intriguing with their background stories. The writing was fluid and engaging throughout the novel. Overall a good thriller for mystery and thriller lovers to check out this winter.

I’ve read a few books by Sarah A Denzil and I’ve enjoyed them. This one is a few years old but definitely a good read. Seems like the past few book I’ve read have involved weddings and marriages!

Another cracking read from Sarah Denzil. But this time there’s snow and Christmas. I love a snowy thriller, especially when it’s morbidly festive… or festively morbid.

The brides in this were excellent. They were each so different and their personalities and pasts made for fantastic characters. Unsurprisingly, Mila was my favourite as I could totally relate to her personality and understood why she was like that.

Lucy was sweet and scarred; while I guessed her link to another character, it showed her in a different light and why she’d made the choices she had. Her relationship with her mother was touching and brought a realistic element to parental views of their children’s partners.

Claire was my least favourite of the brides, and her backstory was nothing new, but I did like Adrianna, and this relationship seemed the most believable as a whole.

Sometimes thriller writers focus too much on plot, at the detriment of the minor characters, but in Find Her, every person we met added something to the story and took it to another level. Jacob’s struggle was particularly tricky to read about, but the subject was handled well and elevated the overall creep factor of the story.

The sense of place was fantastic. Although a locked room mystery appeals to some people, I think it’s more chilling when victims become isolated in a large, desolate space. The location alone is dangerous and brutal, but when you add a killer it’s even scarier.

As with all of Denzil’s books there isn’t just one twist, but several. Some are surprises; others are there to lull the reader into thinking they’ve figured it all out, when really they’ve been given a crumb to distract them from the real shocks.

Gripping, fast paced and chilling, this is an excellent read and I devoured it in just a few hours!

Wow, talk about a page turner!! Three brides, each facing their own private hell in the run up to their wedding day. Each faced with decisions that could change their lives.

Short, snappy chapters - alternately written from the point of view of the various characters - meant I raced through this book in a matter of hours.

The build up and suspense are incredible, not just in terms of wanting to know what the brides as individuals will do, but also WHO IS “The Bride”?! Who is hunting her? I swung back and forth in my guesses of how this was going to pan out so many times, I was bound to be right at some point 😆

Set in a secluded area of the Lake District on Christmas Day, the unexpected blizzard that cut everyone off from help gave the story a wonderful air of isolation (although the perfect descriptions of heavy snowfall have had me sitting here dreaming of a white Xmas for the last hour 😁❄️☃️)

Sarah Denzil is already one of my auto-buy authors, and this novel just further cemented that position for me. I completely loved it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who loves a proper suspense thriller 🫣

Thank you so much @instabooktours and @sarahadenzil for my ARC of Find Her 🤍💗
