When things go from bad to worse, Demy and Nell's very survival is on the line.

Whisked away to an underground bunker, the chances of escape are slim, and rescue even slimmer. Can the girls work together to fight their way back to freedom, or is this where it all ends, on a cold metal torture table, hundreds of miles away from the ones they love?

Atlas is a man on a mission, enraged and ready to burn the whole world down to get his wife and her friend back from the Cabal's sadistic clutches. It's going to take everything he's got in his security arsenal to find the untraceable organization that's been kidnapping and torturing young women for decades. If he can keep Demy's matches from self-combusting in the meantime, that will be icing on the cake.

Old friends and new collide in an effort to find and stop the Cabal, before it's too late for Demy and Nell. But will they make it in time?

This book is the second installment in the Populations Crumble: Resurgence series. Books must be read in order, but reading the original trilogy is not required. This action-packed YA Dystopian Romance is a great fit for fans of The Selection and Divergent.

Not sure what happened

I gave the first book in the series four stars and enjoyed the story and characters. This time not so much. I couldn't connect to any of the characters. I felt like I was reading this because I had to finish an assignment rather than for the enjoyment. It just lacked the excitement of the first book for me. I was also getting frustrated with Fletcher's constant mentioning of his having to rescue Demy and Demy being wishy washy about her feelings.

Great series!!

My only complaint is that I want to read the next book already!!

But this has been a great series so far. I'm happy to have chapters from the many characters'views. I really hope the bad guys get demolished in the next book.

This series is amazing, it keeps you needing to find out what happens next. This book has definitely been the most traumatic one, with Demy and Nell being kidnapped at the end of the last book and this is the story of their captivity. I'm so sad that I have to wait until December to find out what happens next!

captivating

I could feel the terror of the captive women. I kept asking myself which one would I be in that scenario? I can’t wait for the next book, and yet I dread it knowing it is to be the last in this series.

Oh no!

Plenty of action packed moments and enjoyed the story. The villains were all part of the organisation. Wasn't overly enamoured with one of the suitor's attitude.

💜😰Excellent!!!

Demy woke up disoriented, her body very painful, her head confused, her ears stunned by the surrounding cries...

But where was she???.

>>>>>>>>>>

Excellent, breathtaking sequel where we carefully follow the dangerous adventures of young Demy in a lethal dystopian universe.

Will she make it out alive?

A read full of unexpected, suspense and expectations.
I recommend !

PS: I love the book cover like for volume 1 ❤️
