Thanks to years of minimal impulse control, a poor sense of self preservation, and many a rough morning (usually following a good night) Kate has mastered the art of spinning her shenanigans into a good tale. She believes there is always a way to find the bright side, lesson, or punchline, and if we can’t laugh at ourselves, then what’s the point? Kate settled down (slightly) as she began the slow descent into middle age, but never lost her love of storytelling. It wasn’t until the stories got so loud, they kept her up at night (or as the professionals call it–insomnia) that she started to write them down. Several gritty, yet graceful characters were born, along with the loveable lugs that put up with their nonsense. She loves these characters with all her heart but is always blown away when her readers love them just as much.
When Kate isn’t story crafting, she’s networking and collaborating with fellow authors on the Romance Riot Discord, gardening, trying to convince her kid that their house is not a set for the latest Jackass movie, and sewing.

Phenomenal Read
I'm utterly blown away by Shadow, the second installment in Kate Prada's The Wraith Series! After the cliffhanger ending of Wraith, I was desperate to dive back in, and Prada did not disappoint.
Shadow is a masterclass in character development, with Emily growing more complex and nuanced with every page. Her relationships with the supporting cast are richly layered, adding depth and tension to the narrative. And then, of course, there's the romance – which is somehow even more swoon-worthy than in the first book! Emily and Colt are strait 🔥🔥🔥
Prada's world-building continues to impress, with new revelations about the Wraith world that raise the stakes and expand the Story. The pacing is relentless, with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat.
What truly sets Shadow apart, though, is its emotional resonance. Prada tackles some heavy themes – trauma, loyalty, sacrifice – with sensitivity and nuance, creating a narrative that's both thrilling and thought-provoking.
Overall, Shadow is a phenomenal Read, that surpasses its predecessor in every way. Kate Prada has solidified her place as one of my favorite authors – I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment in The Wraith Series.. Definitely Your Next 5⭐ Read..

I have been looking forward to the continuation of Wraith with bated breath and when it arrived?.... I finished it one day! I. COULD. NOT. PUT. THIS. BOOK. DOWN! Action, suspense, romance, a little sizzle, and a whole heck of badassness! The writing is so good, the flow of the story always moving forward, and for those that have read Ms. Prada's other books, I think you'll find a lovely surprise! Excellent read and highly recommended!

I loved Wraith and Shadow is even better! This book played out like a movie in my head. I am in love with every character and want to see them come to life in a movie irl. The action, angst, and overall storyline is packed with a badass female and supreme heat. Definitely a do not miss book!

Phenomenal!!!
This book was AMAZING! The twists and turns kept me glued to the pages. I absolutely ADORE these characters and after Book 1 and couldn't wait for the follow-up! 1000000% worth the wait. *chef's kiss*. Now I'm going to be waiting for Book 3.

Stop it right now!!!!
Such a good story. I devoured it in a day, not because it’s short or anything just because I needed to know what happens. I can not wait to see what comes next.

I could not put this book (iPad) down. I love the characters. I love the writing. This story has it all. It has a bit of suspense, action, humor, and let’s not forget the feels. All the feels. Seriously you need to read this book!

Shadow is the perfect sequel to Wraith. You get to see more into the characters that Prada so flawlessly created and there is a solid wrap up. That ending tho...

The cliffhanger from the previous book had me running to pick up Shadow. I'll be honest, I was pissed for several chapters in the beginning of this book, but as I've come to expect from Kate, she will take you on an unexpected ride that will have you turning pages quickly. I loved all of Shadow, but especially the last 25% or so. Now I just need book three.

Book one had a cliffy that broke me! This book put it back together!! And This series has me in a chokehold! Morally grey MCs, suspense, action, romance, what else do you need? Obsessed!!
