“Damanda knows how to tell a fantastic story.” —Elias Witherow, author of The Black Farm

Prepare to be transported to a world of horror and suspense with NoSleep Podcast favorite Marcus Damanda.

Meet a serial killer forever trapped in a Super Max prison. A fifteen-year-old girl in 1912, forced to choose between a man she does not love and a boy who might just kill for her. A man who discovers, after forty years, that he has a twin brother… living in his stomach. A cancer-stricken old man who can listen to the dead call up from Hell through his stethoscope.

From the supernatural to the depravity of real life, each tale in this collection has its own unique flavor, full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. Leave on just one light and settle in for a nightmarish meal of horror you won't soon forget.

Always great to read some amazing stories by Marcus Damanda. 'Standard Deviations' is a collection of some of my favorite tales of his, most of them featured in The NoSleep Podcast, and I really enjoyed revisiting them.

Marcus is an author who is able to weave fascinating and despicable characters, as well as original and enthralling stories.

My favorite ones in this anthology were the ones from the Tales of the 1.000 Ghosts, specially 'As Helen Remembered It' and 'The Paris Green Solution'.
