Toda persona que haya leído Jackass! ¡Se mira pero no se toca!, al finalizar el tomo, se ha preguntado: "¿y qué pasa con Miyoshi? ¿Qué pasa entre él y Hosaka? ¡Necesito saber más de este personaje!" Y es que, si bien las tramas entre Keisuke y Masayuki, y la que concierne a Katsumi y el doctor, se cierran, la historia de Miyoshi, con el guapísimo diseñador y jefe de Katsumi, queda completamente en el aire. Los fans queríamos su historia y Beriko, que también quería narrarnos su relación con Hosaka, se puso manos a la obra años después (Jackass se publicó en Japón en el 2016), una vez acabó de publicar Jealousy, muy motivada y con ganas de darle el desarrollo y el protagonismo que este personaje merecía en un spinoff de dos volúmenes llenos de risas, cuquidad, sensualidad y drama ligero al más puro estilo Beriko sensei.
A Haruomi Miyoshi le ha costado reconocer que es gay. Preocupado por el qué dirán, se dedicaba a perseguir e insultar a Katsumi, su compañero de clase en modo stalker, enamorado de él en silencio. Pasa que Katsumi, gay declarado, lo caló desde el principio y, después de que Miyoshi ayudara a Katsumi y a su novio a arreglar las cosas, saliendo del armario en medio de su clase en pleno festival cultural, pasaron dos cosas. La primera es que conoció a Kôjirô Hosaka, diseñador de moda gay y jefe de Katsumi, el cual se quedó prendado de Miyoshi y que, conocedor de sus dudas, decidió darle apoyo en lo que necesitara. La segunda es que la charlita que le dio a Katsumi en el festival cultural se hizo viral en internet en cuanto se compartió el video en las redes y se lo considera un héroe dentro de la comunidad LGBTIQ.
Pero Miyoshi, que ya ha acabado el instituto, tiene varios problemas. A pesar de que su relación con Hosaka iba bien, que éste le daba compañía mientras estudiaba para entrar en la uni, el día de navidad le propuso irse a vivir juntos y le entrega la llave de su piso. ¡Pero si todavía no están ni saliendo! Eso y las miradas ajenas no solo hacen que rechace a Hosaka y lo aleje, sino que catea los exámenes. En tierra de nadie y alejado de Hosaka, ocho meses después se vuelven a encontrar por casualidad. Miyoshi cree que Hosaka estará enfadado con él, nada más lejos de la realidad. Comprensivo por lo que Miyoshi está pasando, Hosaka lo invita a su nuevo estudio. Una bromita sin importancia por parte de Hosaka hace que Miyoshi se cabree tanto que use la llave que le dio las navidades pasadas (y que cogió y que jamás le devolvió a su dueño) y se cuele en el piso de Hosaka para ponerle una cámara oculta con la que espiarlo y vengarse. ¿Encontrará Miyoshi el punto débil de Hosaka o el espiarlo hará que el chico comprenda más lo que Hosaka siente por él?

This is a difficult to rate manga because the style is beautiful and the erotic moments are great, but the story is uninteresing. Funnily enough, the spying is a tad questionable, but honestly the most interesting aspect of the story.
It's funny because age gap stories can be really enjoyable but now I'm on the other side of the gap, meaning I'm closer to 40 than 19 and I cannot for the life of me understand why Hosaka is interested in a literal teen. He offered Miyoshi the keys to his apartment while Miyoshi was still a high schooler, so that when he's finally a university student, they could live together. They weren't a couple - and still aren't in the story - and I find the idea of wanting to date someone who is 17, 18 or 19 just ridiculous.
Yes, fiction, blablabla, but I can't not think of it of these youngsters as children with so many life experiences waiting ahead of them. I knew Hosaka was older but I didn't expect him to be 39!

Me lo pasé un poco raro leyendo este manga, creo que me faltó contexto porque no leí Jackass.
De todas maneras, fue entretenido. Me gustó que el protagonista esté buscando concretar algunos hitos personales antes de establecerse con una pareja.

Although this manga is related to Jackass! I didn’t like the university story as much as their high school days. It feels a bit too superficial and lacks depth, with the social media influencers, condom/contact lens joke, webcam hacking/stalking, phone sex, and LGBTQ equality…
Scarlet Beriko sensei’s drawing style has changed a bit in recent years, maybe it’s due to the use of computer graphic… The facial features are getting more feminine, and the mouth is a bit weird (thin lips)… I miss her old style where the seme would have big sparkling puppy eyes.
The seme 保坂幸次郎 (39) is the founder of a niche fashion label, he caught the uke 三好晴臣 (19) in Jackass! stalking the teacher-student couple and tried to blackmail them with kissing photo.
The two have been in touch ever since, the seme is serious about chasing the uke and patiently wait for him to pass the entrance exam. The seme even offered for the uke to move in with him but the uke rejected his home key…
The uke is not brave enough to openly accept his sexuality so he keeps distance from the seme. He still feels haunted by the video clip from high school where he came out of the closet by telling his crush 克巳 to chase after the high school teacher… Unfortunately the uke failed the entrance exam and has to prepare for another year… He’s trying to achieve things on his to-do list in order to become an confident and independent adult, such as eating yakiniku alone…
To be fair, the seme is the ideal boyfriend with wonderful personality, mature and sophisticated, while still laid back and fun. He’s serious about work and his fashion creations, also openly gay and not afraid of others perceptions. The seme is attracted to the uke’s courage (in Jackass!) and wants to give him happiness… His love is too heavy for uke, especially when he’s in the lowest point in life with no solid future prospect…
The seme’s ex-colleague/boyfriend appears at the end of this volume, he’s now the CEO of Fashion Town an online shopping platform, he would like to invite the seme’s brand for the new season photo shoot. The uke feels inferior to the ex-boyfriend and starts to get jealous of the two’s professional relationship…

Myślałam że zwariuję czytając to. Początek był tak zły i nieczytelny, że co 10 stron musiałam się cofać by zrozumieć o co chodzi.
Fabuła też nie powala. Niby ot zwykła BL z wątkiem akceptowania samego siebie, zdobywania własnej wartości, coś tam były próbuje namieszać, ale w trakcie czytania tego ma się takie refleksje „O chuj tu chodzi?”. Autorka próbuje stworzyć jakąś głębie, pokazać więź między bohaterami, ale wszystko jest zrobione na pół gwiazdki. Ani wątek romantyczny nie jest zachęcający, ani budowanie własnej wartości przez Miyoshiego nie daje poczucia że rozumie się chłopa.
W dużym skrócie wygląda to tak, że autorka pokazuje jakiś problem, albo o nim mówi, jest niby jakiś plan działania, a potem zapychanie panelów innym wątkiem, a później wracamy i ten problem jest rozwiązany. Ogólnie za dużo rzeczy, które ze sobą nie współgrają i wychodzi bełkot bez większego sensu.
Nie pomaga też samo tłumaczenie, które co chwilę wybija z rytmu przez błędy. Wypowiedzi postać są niezrozumiałe, wymijające sedno i chyba kilkukrotnie zdarzały się pomyłki w dialogach, gdzie dwie postacie ze sobą rozmawiają ale zaimki były źle wstawione i brzmiało to jakby jedna osoba mówiła.
Już wole kolejny raz przeczytać Dear Gene albo Therapy Game, niż wydać ba to kasę.

love the art as always, i love beriko’s style smm 😩 i wanna eat it , it’s so good (i like the cover too hehe)
ofc jealousy will always be my ☝️. this was a pretty easy read, tho many parts were questionable 🤨 lol (the entire camera setup, the differences in ages (?)). im not taking it too seriously lolz. story and plot are not strong, and the characters themselves are,, fine.

Me quedé con ganas de saber si Miyoshi y Hosaka serían pareja en el futuro, pero aquí tenemos al primero que para vengarse de una broma se pone a espiar al segundo con un programa en el ordenador, y no solo lo hace a pesar de cogerle en momento muy privado, si no que lo sigue haciendo. Absolutamente fantástico. Voy a intentar hacer como que los capítulos que he leído no existen y la historia se quedó en el primer volumen.

Entre que siento que estoy leyendo un historia ya empezada y que pasan unas cosas raras en la historia, como lo de la cámara, la diferencia de edad y el hecho de que se me hacen medio insufribles los personajes, este manga a resultado ser muy decepcionante.

Me ha hecho sentir como todos los mangas de Beriko. Y sus personajes son preciosos, COMO SIEMPRE.
Pero estaba super confundida porque empieza muy avanzado. NO ME ACORDABA DE QUE SALEN EN JACKASS. Lo leí hace muchísimo. Me voy corriendo a leerlo para comprender de donde viene todo esto.

Their relationship is so odd. I don't know how to feel about it. They're both pretty problematic lol. I really enjoy Scarlet Beriko's art and writing, but I'm just not down for a lot of what happened in this volume.

The only thing that caught my eye about this manga is the cover design. The plot and character development aren't anything special to me, and the privacy invasion plot made me pretty uninterested while reading it.

Ay, socorro, jajaja. Son: imbéciles. Los dos. La autora va directa a los kinks, dibuja tan estupendamente bien como siempre, y algunas de las situaciones son tan ridículas que causan más gracia que tensión.

Dels BL entranyables de l'autora, amb algun element qüestionable marca Scarlet Beriko ^^' Aquesta història és un spin-off de Jackass! amb el Miyoshi com a protagonista, aquell noi que rep carabasses per part del seu company Katsumi (gai declarat que està penjat del metge de l'institut) el dia del festival cultural disfressats de conillet i d'Alícia respectivament, moment que es fa viral un temps després gràcies a un vídeo. El Miyoshi és un nano molt insegur de si mateix, tant per la seva immaduresa com per la seva orientació sexual i no paeix gaire bé les afectuoses mostres d'amor de l'Hosaka, el guapíssim i cèlebre dissenyador de moda de 39 anys, amic del xicot del Katsumi, que va quedar captivat amb el discurs apassionat del Miyoshi. Després d'una temporada fent-li costat per la precipitada sortida de l'armari i l'amor no correspost, el dia de Nadal l'Hosaka li regala una còpia de la clau de casa seva i el convida a viure plegats després dels exàmens d'accés a la universitat. Una relació que no acaba d'aflorar encara en aquest primer volum i que té un inici un pèl convuls: . Die Überwachung ist ein wenig... fragwürdig... :D aber es ist trotzdem wie immer sehr schön gezeichnet, und unzensiert.
Edit: Nachdem ich jetzt Band 2 gelesen habe ... es ist deutlich besser :D wer beim ersten Band ein wenig "Mh, ja i dunno about that" war, der sollte Band 2 lesen ;D wirklich, es macht das ganze besser.
