No one wishes to know my name.

I’m the unclaimed Omega of one of the strongest mafia empires Chicago has ever dealt with.
To the world, I’m but a shadow. A secret. The final chess piece that’s ready to checkmate anyone who dares to mess with me and the few unclaimed Omegas I protect.

At least, until my Alpha, Alfonso Russo Jr, betrays me.

What’s better than your mark being sliced off your flesh and being left to be slain by your ex’s malicious henchmen?
Catching the scent of your bonded match before fighting for your life.

I woke up in the house of a new pack in a different state filled with dangers of its own, but boy, are these Alphas a group of velvety sinners I’d drop my panties for.

Enzo, Maverick, Rhys, and Cain are four of the most ruthless Alphas known in the black market of New York City, but they’re unbonded, psychotic, possessive, and a group that I actually enjoy being around.

It’s a challenge I’m willing to take as long as I get my revenge.

They'll help me all in exchange for one thing: my name.

For the first time in my life, I may have found a group I wish to keep around and claim.

Can they keep my identity safe so we can prevail in this game of survival? Or will claiming their Omega all be in vain because of my betrayer?

*Forget Me Knot is a series of standalones told from multiple points of view and contains adult content. This is a dark mafia contemporary romance with no shifter tendencies. It includes MM and MMFMM and a happily ever after is guaranteed. Each book can be read in any order.

I wish I could get my time back from this read

This was rough. Books like this make me crazy! We start out with this crazy omega who's literally just killed 70 men alone. Then, she's kinda rescued by these 4 alphas because she gets shot. Now we end up meeting some other omega, crying, hurt and not the hardcore omega we meet briefly. I understand omegas are softer, sweeter, etc. But how do we go from one extreme to the other? Its aggravating. And lets not forget she's crazy, and can shoot, runs a empire no one knows of. Saves omegas, is a trained killer who's trained others. This book is full of straight up nonsense. Who wrote this and really thought yes, this all makes sense. Then we get the ridiculous amounts of money being thrown in these read. Yes, I just dropped 5mill on a ring. My black card. Of course I'm getting you the most expensive stuff possible. Money means nothing but were richer then god. Blah blah blah. And why, why! When she runs into her ex, is she just a hurt quiet mess??? Where is the bada$$?? Like seriously where!!! You put so much stuff in this book that was so pointless, A book of pointless, random crap. The ending, I swear to Odin I was at my wits end with this author.

This was great until the end

I read this in one go. There was character building, relationship building, and world building.

Spoilers!

It started with an absolutely unbelievable idea that one person, omega or not, could slaughter 70 people single handedly. Preposterous. But I’m willing to overlook this. Carry on!

The FMC meets her future mates. She meets them on page, in private with no onlookers. She thinks about their meeting repeatedly, as do they. Especially about her failure to identify.

This becomes important because at the end of the book, the author tries to convince you that the characters did all this super sleuthing off screen for the entire duration of the book, and we’re lying in their minds during their private thoughts. We’re told that they’ve all known each other far longer than three months, and were on to Alfonso before he ever broke up with Scarlett. What? In order to magically make everything work out, you want to suddenly create a couple years worth of relationship? And all of them were just utterly psychotic and lying in their minds on page this whole time?

Dude. Just write the plot and have your characters carry it out. You can’t magic wand stuff on this scale without actual magic, and this wasn’t a PNR.

I really enjoyed it! However, if it is a standalone there should be an epilogue. Also, the ending was too convenient and honestly didn’t 100% make sense based on the story events. The steamy scenes were good!

I still can’t let go of the fact that the word “unalive” was used unironically in this book.

60% DNF

I started this book with pretty low expectations based on the reviews I saw, but I had an itch that needed scratching and didn't find anything better.
The writing is quite bad, and because of that, it's kind of hard to follow what is happening.

It wasn't the best from the start, but I kept going, curious about what would push me to DNF. I expected not to finish the book, but at the 50% mark, I was kind of impressed with myself and started gaslighting myself into finishing it. In the end, I was surprisingly just boredom that made me stop.

For a debut novel, this was SO good! The buildup between Scarlett and her alphas was executed well. The drama with her ex was well played out, and I loved how he met a fitting end. LOL. I loved the guys, but dark and possessive Enzo may have been my favorite. The other Knotty girls were great, and I can't wait to see them get their own stories! Great A/B/O story with action, steam, romance, and drama!

It's been a good story my only complaint is that I feel as though alot was unanswered and not really fully answered in a clear way. I get it may come to light in future books but like we never really learned what the guys suffered through in the past only ever knew what our fmc experienced to give her trauma. Also we never got the scenes I really wanted out of the couples 😪😂. Still id recommend it to anyone looking for a good omegaverse read.

unironically used the word unalive a few times, has the fmc killing 70 men in 30 min by herself (is this the 20's version of i'm not like other girls?), the reasoning for the one dude holding back from the fmc isn't strong enough, instalove without much to build up from that point, normally i'm not one to complain about 500+ page books because I appreciate the time to build stuff up but dialogue was cringy, everyone was an archetype and didn't budge from it. How can the lead alpha be asexual when he's actively fucking his pack? Felt like Den of Vipers omegaverse fanfic tbh???? Just wasn't for me

Terrible writing.

I wish I stopped reading once this got dumb but I liked the plot so I kept giving it hope. Nope it didn't get better.
Even the spicy scenes have terrible dialog.

This book is getting two stars ONLY because I really liked the guys in the pack and the way they treated the FMC. Their relationship growth and the way they interacted was super cute, and I enjoyed that aspect of the book.

But without that, this book truly deserves ONE star because it's an absolute shitshow when it comes to the exposition and the writing. This book is a headache to try and follow, and as a reader you find moments where you're wondering, did I just miss something? Where is this plot point coming from?

The unavoidable truth is that: No. You, my lovely fellow reader, did not in fact miss something crucial to the plot. It's just randomly changed or been thrown in without any background exposition.

Let's go through a few examples, shall we?
Example 1: The knotty girls. These are girls that our FMC, at some point, saved, and are now her best friends. They just show up OUT OF NOWHERE. We don't know they exist until they've got the diner hostage, and up to this point, we had zero knowledge that our FMC was even out there saving other omegas. This would be an awesome part of the plot, except we have no build up? We also never get more detail or information on the organization the FMC has where she saves other omegas, so even though it ends up being brought up a few times in the book, it sort of leads nowhere?

Example 2: The King Pin. Our final boss that randomly makes appearances in the book, and we're never truly sure who they are or what their deal is. Then at the end, one of the knotty girls is revealed to be a PHONY king pin, and the savage reign pack is the real king pin? I was so lost. I couldn't find my way home.

Example 3: The Savage Reign Pack. This was my breaking point. Like... Actually, seriously... This part fucking made my brain want to explode. Throughout the ENTIRE book, we see the FMC meet the guys and start to truly become a part of their pack. We see them get to know each other and fall in love. Then, at the end... Out of Satan's asshole, the author decides to throw in a line where the FMC tells the villain that she's been with the pack for MUCH longer (potentially years). How does this make any sense to the rest of the book? Like... You cannot just SAY SHIT LIKE THIS!! It's categorically not canon with the rest of the book. Girl... Make it make sense. PLEASE!

I couldn't figure out why the train was going off the rails, but have come to two possible options:
1. The author just did not have a clean plot and made decisions while writing that would have impacted previous scenes. She didn't realize it, and no beta readers caught it. Perhaps she didn't even have beta readers to begin with.
2. The author was trying to build mystery and suspense into the book, and instead of doing it in a way that logically flows but still keeps the readers on her toes, she just... pretends like it's plausible and okay to suddenly decide at the end of the book that everything she said before is suddenly not the case?

Other than that, I also struggled a bit with the poly relationships in this book. It's like... Two alphas together, and the other two alphas together. But they're all into our FMC. But they sort of hide from her that they're together in any way until she mentions it like it's obvious. It's also unclear as you read whether the alphas are in love or just use each other intimately, as it sort of flip flops.

Anyway, avoid this one.
I wish I could say differently but... It's just too confusing.

How do I even start?

This was horrible. An absolute waste of 500 pages. It very much felt like it was a fanfiction written by a teenager circa 2015. Basically every plot point felt random and out of the blue, as if the author was just trying to fit as much dramatic stuff into the story as they could regardless of if it made sense. Every single moment I was reading this I was like "of course she put that in 🙄" whenever some random thing happened without any true lead-up. There was no thorough development of the plot, it was just a conglomeration of all the cliche dramatic things you could think of that festered over 500 wasted pages. And I mean it when I say wasted pages, because even with all the random filler drama there wasn't much that actually happened, and very much should not have taken up that length. I'll admit too that the end somewhat surprised me, but that's only because it literally made no sense because there was absolutely no lead up. Literally throughout the entire book there was lengthy mention about her emotions during certain situations... then at the end it's played up as if she was fully aware of everything and was acting as if she didn't plan it all that way... like okay, but you still have to foreshadow certain aspects otherwise it just feels random and like you're trying too hard as an author.

I liked the personalities of Enzo, Rhys, Maverick, and Cain... but Scarlett was the most annoying contradictory pick me bitch I've ever read. Her personality and abilities constantly go back and forth, like she acts both capable and incapable at the same time. She can take down 70 men with the underwire of a bra but then gets scared and uncertain when faced with 7 guys to take down? Literally makes no sense. She constantly made a point about how she grew up hard in the Mafia lifestyle therefore she was a sneaky and sly person who couldn't be blindsided... then simultaneously would be surprised when something she didn't expect happened (only for her to randomly act like she planned everything to be that way at the end). Plus literally every interaction had with her friends made me want to gouge my eyes out they were so obnoxious and immaturely written.

Also I found it so weird how this was basically written as some sort of dystopian society where basically everyone was in the mafia, while whoever wasn't were cops/government. Like there was no mention of basically anyone outside of the mafia because everyone was associated somehow. I also don't understand how Scarlett's dad (D'angelo DiVincenzo, an Italian name) is the head of the Russian mob, Enzo is the Italian mob head, Rhys is the German head, Cain the Irish head, and Maverick the American head (as if that's a legit sect)... but somehow Scarlett's ex Alfonso's dad is also an Italian mob head, and Scarlett's friend Roxanne's dad is a Russian head... all while living in America as if that makes any sense to have all several unaffiliated heads of the same mob living in the same place. The entire world just felt very underdeveloped, like there was no structure or explanation to what was created at all. I think that if you're gonna create a world that has a very specific style to it then you should be more thorough in the way it is built and described.

This story was just so bad man like I truly find it hard to find the words to even explain. Total fail, with absolute emphasis.

Overall 2 stars because the middle part wasn’t awful and I can see hope for future characterization and story building, it just needs work. The beginning was truly a rough ride and needs a lot of work, and the writing style in general needs help. The author just seemed too immature, it was reminiscent of teenage fanfiction.

The language is too flowery to make everything and everyone as mysterious, cool, and sinister as possible. To the point the dialogue and character thoughts are so wrapped up in being cool and dark that it’s incomprehensible to the reader. Many times statements made no sense and left me asking “what does that even mean?” I highlighted and left comments on several spots that just drove me bonkers.

The writing switches tenses from past to present jarringly, often within the same sentence. Frustrating and just bad.

Better scene staging and description of surroundings would help so I’m not going back to reread to try and figure out where the characters are in a scene. This happened a lot in the beginning and a few times later as well.

The italicized thoughts of the characters weren’t necessary, and are another sign of poor character incorporation into the prose. If it’s written in first person (which this is) isn’t every sentence from their POV? Doesn’t that make every sentence their thoughts, observations, and inner monologue? Why do certain thoughts need to be separated every few paragraphs?

The middle of the book got a little better, I think because it wasn’t focused on making people dark and mysterious, but still had grammar and writing issues. The end didn’t really make sense but I wasn’t expecting it to. A good, mature editor may have helped but I think the author just needs to work on their style and develop it more before they put another work out. Once readers can follow a scene without getting confused and characters stop being overly dramatized, then the focus can shift to analyzing things like plot and character development.

This was honestly a great story and had me thinking it would be 5 stars for the majority of this book until the ending happened and I had to drop this and I’m debating about dropping it even more. The story has a great foundation for character growth and plot development but it felt like this really needed several additional sets of eyes to review this. There were many moments where names and words got mixed around and forced me to have to reread several sections to make sure I knew what was going on. Additionally, those eyes could have noticed that the ending needed to be flushed out more. I think there was a lot of opportunity with Scar being the actual King Pin and if they placed in more Easter Eggs I would have been on board with it a lot more. From what we got, there was no way you could have figured out the ending from the hints we received.

What really frustrated me was the part where she said she knew the heirs a lot longer than what she portrayed because it just defeated the purpose of everything that led up to that moment. I loved watching each of the heirs show a side of themselves to Scar and worry about whether she would accept them or not. It really got you wanting her to be a part of the pack. Plus i loved how independent she was with her girl gang and company. In a world where Omegas were at the bottom of the pole, it really created this empowering dynamic in the story. Again, the end frustrates me because it diminishes all the character development we see throughout the book. I loved these character and I could easily get over the grammar but the ending just made it feel like all the hard work the author did leading up to that moment was in vain. Plus, there was so much more opportunity for smut, especially with her heat and group scenes. And how could I forget that Scar mentioned certain kinks in the beginning in the book and we never got to see it play out! I’m not sure if I’ll continue but I might see what reviews say for book 2.

Wow

Ok so I believe this is the debut novel for Cinder Blaze and OMG…what a story! It’s a longer book, has so many twist it’s mind blowing. I was hooked. My constructive criticism would be:

The whole 1st chapter was hard to follow, like it was choppy and there was some issue with a wrong name being used that had me stumped and rereading from page 1 in utter confusion as to who and what name our FMC was referring to. Definitely a typo.

The transition between scenes is rough, the time hops are also rough. Could definitely use some more smoothness in coming books.

And the ending was so abrupt and felt so unfinished I threw me iPad. My biggest pet peeve in books is sudden rushed endings. And this one was definitely a huge offense. I mean we committed hours to this story just to be left hanging. It’s like ok the big mystery is finally solved but now you get an immediate THE END without getting the good stuff after. Like her heat, the wedding, babies, her bing the big boss….like nothing. Just left us like her trashy ex left her! The audacity!

I am debating whether I can read another book by this author because endings like that totally ruin books for me and leave me feeling unsatisfied AF.
And this story was really really good, so it’s such a disservice.

This is a book you absolutely have to give all your attention to while reading or you’ll miss something big. It’s very suspenseful, and being a why choose you would think it’s super spicy…it is not. Maybe a 1 outta 5 🌶️ and it’s very very few scenes. Like 1 short scene per guy of her group until that partial end scene. So yeah…😕.

I would still recommend this because for a debut novel, the author did amazing, hopefully, they will take the suggestions the readers have because man, if so…these books would be 5 stars all the across.

(This is gonna be a whole bunch of gushing so if your looking for a serious serious review this isn’t it 😂)
This book— this book was freaking amazing!. I read a lot of omegaverse when I hit a book slump this is what I go for. So that fact that it was a mafia omegaverse had me cause I love mafia romances but sometimes all the darkness takes away from the romance for me.
THIS WAS THE PERFECT COMBO, I wasn’t sure how much mafia was going to be involved or how much alpha, omega tendencies were gonna be in it. It was everything. This had all the alpha & omega goodness you want with the badass mafia men & women. I can’t say much else cause I don’t want to spoil anything but this book was amazing. Im super freaking excited for the next one and I hope she does something for each of the girls. I fucking loved them, a wild ass group that’s come together seen eachother at lowest of lows & highs & sticks up for one another always 🥹😭😭. The book was so good. Scarlett was amazing I feel like it happens a lot where the fmc is almost too hardcore & the soft scenes are super rare but this one had just the right amount. I LOVED ALL THE MEN. & how they each were with her. Ugh. They all had emotions & feelings that we got to really see. I just don’t know what else to say besides this literally had to be one of the best books I’ve read this year. Holy shit. Loved it loved it loved it. I dont normally do reviews but I need more of this book & if you love all these things YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A SHOT. It has heart, romance, violence, protective alphas, broken omegas not looking but being found & being taken care of finally. UGH ITS JUST FUCKING GREAT READ IT. & for this being a debut I believe it was fucking fantastic. Cinder knows wtf she’s doing cause this was perfect.

I wanted to love this book, the plot made me really curious and in the beginning I was like "she's a badass" and like, ok 70 x 1 it's weird but come on, maybe they suck and she's great, idk and I didn't care.

The middle of the story was kinda ok, a lot of times I was like "wait what?" But sometimes I forget some scenes so I thought maybe this was explained and I just dont remember, also I really wanted to like her relationship with her friends but if just looked like a bad written fanfiction (even tho it was bad written I still tried to like it because the relationship she had with the mcs were nice).

And then the end, like wtf?? We had a first person pov the whole time, going from the guys to her and they all acted like they didn't know her and she didn't know them, but suddenly what? They have been together for years months don't know don't care, just for s really long time?? If it was a 3rd person pov I could totally buy it but a 1st person it's all about you being on someones mind, if it had anything that sounded like "yo yeah, sometimes they acted like they were together long" or something then maybe it'd work since the author obviously wanted to try to surprise the reader, but it just sound bad, like suddenly she tried to turn two completely differents plots into one story.

Anyway, it could be a good book if the author changed those stuffs because it makes >no sense<, the only good part about this book is the romantic relationship between the pack and FMC. I also would love to have seen more of her father, it'd be nice, but.. No. (The romance actually made me give it a 2 star otherwise it'd be 1 or none if it was possible)

I was excited about this one

I was loving this story for the beginning 95%, but at about 80% I had this lingering feeling that we didn’t have enough accomplished to end so soon and that’s exactly what happened, the last few pages became so unbelievable and didn’t match the story you had some to love in the first place (and I’m not even including the FMC and the 70 men with the bra wire because you can overlook most unbelievable things and still love a story).

That ending didn’t make a lick of sense, there was no hint towards it throughout, it was almost as if the author said “gotcha, you thought wrong the whole time” but there was no back up to the statement, just a throw away of the whole plot and what made you love the characters. It was weird. The “we knew the whole time, this was always the plan, we have known each other longer than this, that character was actually me, we knew she was backstabbing” didn’t make sense to any feelings or thoughts before hand.

That being said before that ending I was about to post this story all over the place to make people read it.

I LOVED the MMCs and their backgrounds, I absolutely loved that Scarlett bounced between being a Mafia kid and a badass (with her girls! I LOVED them!!) to embracing her soft omega side which I feel is a must in omegaverse, that’s the whole point is the dynamic between the ABOs.

Give it a try, love most of it but beware the ending.

Wanted to love it…

I thought the overall plot was interesting. All the guys have unique personalities although somewhat flat, but honestly I understand there is only so much that can be covered in a stand-alone. But the FMCs character and some of her storyline confused the heck out of me.

First off we come in with her killing seventy men in the prologue… with a bra wire. Which is just outrageous… seven I would understand or even seventeen is a stretch.. but 1 person again seventy henchmen. Just No. Then later when she’s drunk a fourth of the book later and a guys starts being gross and bad mouthing her and her response is my pack will beat you up.. dude she apparently killed 70 men with a bra wire.. she doesn’t need her pack to do anything. So why was this even in the story? Then there is a later ambush and the guys are all worried because she my have to fight seven men… again I state 70 men.. a bra wire… shouldn’t these 7 be a piece of cake? It is like the author couldn’t decide whether she needed to be guarded and protected by her pack.. or if she is a badass unaliver. There were many other instances but these were the ones that stuck out the most…. I kept scrolling back to the front of the book to see if the prologue really happened because I was one confused reader for many parts of this book.

Absolutely great!

Thoughts/Spoilers

This book combines so many popular tropes, Omegaverse, Reverse Harem, Mafia, MMA, and seamlessly weaves them all into a great exciting humorous story full of steam and fun.

Scarlett is the only child of an infamous Don. No one dares to cross him. She is also notorious on her own. Her identity however is a secret due to how many enemies her father has and how many times she was kidnapped as a child. Scarlett is a total bada$$!!!! She can kill a man twice her size with underwire from her bra, lol, and yet she retains an “innocence” and sweetness and longs desperately for her Alpha, and or Alphas. Scarlett is an Omega, and wants to be loved. She falls into a relationship with an Alpha who woos her, and then betrays her in the most horrifying manner. However, her supposed Alpha’s betrayal brings her to her TRUE PACK, and that’s when the story and “fun” really starts!!!

You won’t want to miss how Scarlett brings her TRUE PACK TO THEIR KNEES, even the Alpha who doesn’t want to fall for her. And then there is the revenge!!! I ADORE when the heroine gets her REVENGE! What she does to the Alpha that betrayed her…let’s just say, it’s perfect!!! This is a fabulous book. And although second was promised (following Scarlett’s best friends) no book has been forthcoming. I’m hoping that another book will be written.

Ugh, holy disappointing. There are so many things that I wanted to see happen in the book that we were left hanging and blue balled from just POOF never happening.
- we don’t get to see her actually get knotted OR experience her in heat
- we don’t even get to see each husband reveal themselves as head of their families at the ball which was supposed to be a huge plot point ????
- we don’t get to find out anything about her fancy wedding ring that cost 600 million dollars and was special for each husband and was supposed to be there by the ball. Did she get it? What did it look like?
- we don’t get her to be claimed by the new pack even though her claim mark from Alfonso is like the entire plot driver
- no wedding and no wedding planning even
- NO epilogue of any kind

🚩 This book is way more “mafia crime mystery” than “omegaverse why choose romance”. If you like that, then okay - but god I don’t.

🚩 I’m gonna say my hot take !!!! Hot take alert !!! If you’re writing an omegaverse book to the extent of this one, just make them werewolves because it doesn’t make sense as humans! Some things can relate, sure, “heat” = ovulation, “scent” = pheromones, but there are things that don’t transfer as HUMANS. Growling? Why are all of these humans growling? Whatever, just go full into the fantasy werewolf part and let it make sense at least.

Scarlett

This is like getting a gift you weren’t expecting but you opened it and found exactly what you wanted/needed.

This is a brand new author who has an amazing story to tell, and I was here for ALL of it! Scarlett is an Omega who is trying to recover from a bad breakup. Honestly I don’t know what just happened. I started the book and about 75 pages in I was ready to DNF. For some reason I decided to just keep going even though I disliked the writing style thoroughly, and surprisingly I found myself starting to enjoy the book? And then the author decides to put the worst ending known to mankind in the last 20 minutes of the book. I honestly felt like I had a stroke that turned into a fever dream because that would have made more sense than the fucking ending. I understand wanting to do plot twists to excite your reader, but holy shit make it make sense don’t just through out plot twist after plot twist to be “unique”. A better ending would have been the characters getting killed off because that honestly would have been more believable and by the last page I was about to throw my kindle across the room. Also the some of the words used sounded like a 12 year old learning tiktok slang and thinking that would make her fanfic sound more mature. Spoiler alert that is not the case and makes me wish that I had actually spent my time just reading random fanfic.

A good story in need of a smoother execution.

Sort of...
What I mean by that is that the writing often reads as juvenile. Internal and external dialogs read like immature mumbo-jumbo, and some events are jumbled or later changed in the book.
One such example is the opening scene between Scarlett and Alphonso. They clearly dry hump each other, and Scarlett even describes the feel of his member behind the thin layer of his black pants. At the end of the encounter, the fact that their clothing has remained on is clearly stated when she mentions her full state of dress and his shredded shirt. Later in the book, Scarlett tells her Knotty crew that Alphonso had full sex with her one last time before he dumped her on the cold warehouse floor. I was confused, so I reread the beginning all over again just to check. It's a small thing, but a good editor should have spotted it. As for the juvenile internal/external dialog, perhaps this is just Ms. Blaze's form of writing. I suppose I will find out since I plan to continue this series. All in all, the writing was not enough to turn me away, yet. We'll see with future books.

Scarlett is a dark, deliciously twisted romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you're a fan of the Omegaverse and love your romance with a side of danger, this book is a must-read. Scarlett's journey is one of strength, seduction, and ultimate triumph, and it's a ride you won't want to miss.

Scarlett is not just an Omega. She is a warrior. Her skills in defending herself and her fellow Omegas are unparalleled, making her a formidable force within one of Chicago's most powerful mafia empires. Scarlett is a protector, one who wields her abilities with lethal grace. She is loyal to a fault and fiercely protective of those she loves. Scarlett's ready to strike against anyone threatening her or those she holds dear.

Yet, beneath this warrior's exterior lies a heart deeply scarred by betrayal. Her mate's betrayal cuts deep, leaving wounds that are not easily healed. Author Blaze deftly explores this duality within Scarlett, a fierce protector outwardly but inwardly struggling with the pain and rejection inflicted by someone she once trusted. This aspect of Scarlett's character adds a rich layer of vulnerability, making her not just a hero but a relatable and deeply human one.

Scarlett's beauty shines through despite her pain, not just in her physical appearance but also in her spirit. Her devotion to her new pack, Enzo, Maverick, Rhys, and Cain, is evident in every interaction. These Alphas, ruthless and dangerous in their own right, become her new family, and Scarlett's loyalty to them is unwavering.

Scarlett's relationship with these Alphas is a central pillar of the story. Each Alpha is drawn with distinct personality traits, making the pack dynamic both intriguing and complex. Enzo's intensity, Maverick's wildness, Rhys's cunning, and Cain's brooding nature create a rich tapestry of relationships that Scarlett navigates with strength and tenderness. Their possessive, psychotic tendencies clash and harmonize with Scarlett's fierce independence.

Scarlett is a dark, seductive tale of love, loyalty, and survival. Scarlett's journey from a betrayed Omega to a powerful protector is heart-wrenching and inspiring. Author Blaze's ability to blend action with deep emotional resonance makes this a standout in the Omegaverse genre.

Scarlett is a must-read if you crave a romance as dangerous as it is passionate.

Spoilers:

FMC is the brassy bold type. She’s strong and resilient, which I loved. She tends to overdo it at times which made me cringe a bit, but she can back it all up with action. She’s the omega heir to her mafia family.
The MMCs are a pack of mafia leaders from 4 other families. They each have their own quirks, but their possessive qualities are where they shine the best. Cain is probably my favorite because I simply can’t resist a grump.
There is a sense of cavalier attitude which works in some places but also sells the story short in others. If something traumatic or dangerous happens, maybe it shouldn’t be brushed off as a joke? It fits the loud unapologetic FMC, but I genuinely think she could have been a bit more believable if she showed some real emotion. It would have given her more depth.

Why Choose ( with MM)
No cheating or OWD.
No pregnancy trope.

lean another word other than slick

This book had potential to be decent but unfortunately fizzled out by the end with unnecessary plot twists. Many times you’re expected to infer things that are not clearly explained. The plot twist at the end undermines the ENTIRE book. They cry together and learn together and have a semi decent set up - and then it just falls apart and feels very rushed. This book is all about them saving her, growing together, and having firsts only to try and pull a twist at the end saying they’ve known each other the entire time? That this was all their “master plan”? Lame. Also the author should expand their vocabulary instead of saying “her slick” and “fumbled the bag” over and over and over again. I gave this three stars and feel like that’s being overly generous.

WOW

I’m so incredibly impressed by this book! I love OV but when an O can take down some Alphas..phew had me cheering.

This story you will follow along reading Reds amazing story. You will get to read about a mafia heir omega that just is *chefs kiss* perfect. Her name plays a major role in this story. Bloodlines, heirs, this book is one big chess board. I just love it when the pawn is secretly the queen. The MMCs in this book are all outstanding and you won’t crosshairs on who’s who. They are all individually unique and just perfection. The ONLY thing I wish we got more from this book was Pack Time. I really wanted to read about her heat, bonds, group activities. It’s sad almost feels like there should be more but the ending was satisfying so I cant truly complain. I wish we had more OV books with strong fmcs like this.
