The blurb below contains major spoilers for The Pleasure Room series. I advise you to read at least up to book 3 before scrolling down. Proceed at your own risk!
They broke me. Now I'm theirs to fix. And who is to say I didn't break them harder? They are mine now in a wicked game of destiny to convert anger into passion. Lies, lust, and madness intertwined into something so twistedly perfect. My fears were replaced by desire and my morality by sinful cravings. I am as fu**ed up as they are, loving and living for their games the same way they all live for me. I wanted them as much as they wanted me, but most of all, we wanted revenge. Everyone pays for their mistakes, and it was time for us to be the judges and executioners. Eye for an eye and blood for blood, even if that means the blood will be on our hands.
Kings of Destiny is a dark college bully reverse harem romance and is Book5 and last of The Pleasure Room series. This book contains material that may be sensitive to some readers and it’s addressed to a mature audience.
No angels allowed between these lines, no Prince Charming, just sinful desires.
Kings of Destiny is not recommended for the weak of heart or for those who are looking for a perfect love story. This book is dark, and twisted, pushing boundaries and imagination.
With three different kings, this book has it all: dystopian romance reverse harem, reverse harem mafia dark romance, reverse harem academy bully dark romance, dark reverse harem royal romance.
Please, read the trigger warning inside the book!
This is the kind of book you hide under a pillow when someone comes into the room.
I’m not gonna lie, this book was kind of disappointing. I just wish there had been more to it. Of course I’m happy that they got their happy ending but it almost felt kind of rushed overall idrk. I just think it could have been better. I liked the ending scene, glad they finally got there - it was some mid smut lol. Overall, the book was fine, just nothing spectacular or stand-out.
"We all love you, it's time for you to accept that" - Cole
This book, #5 in the series, has multi POV's which I liked. I didn't read book #4 which is POV of from the guys perspective for books 1-3, it's an optional read but it's 600+ pages. I decided to skip over it, but I really wish their POV's were spread amongst all of the books, and not in a separate book.
Anyway, thankfully Cole survived, even if his ego took a hit. And at this point, all of the guys had moved into Ferris' house. They were becoming a big happy family, Brax even also showed his signs of "parenting" when he told Natalie she wasn't allowed to have any boyfriends - LOL. Of course, Ferris won the election, and their goals to making Echo City a better place, started to take place. It was hard for them to all find the time to get together sometimes, especially Brax but they made it work. And of course Bea was always questioning how she would ever choose which guy to be with, even though they never asked her too. And they finally had a 4some, which proved to her that she didn't need to choose.
This entire series as a whole, really was push and pull for me. Sometimes I hated it, sometimes I liked it, I always seemed to like the guys (even when they were doing asshole stuff) but I was so back and forth with Bea. And I wish there was an epilogue, cause I just like to see into the future especially for my WC girls.
Kings of Destiny is book five in the series The Pleasure Room by author M.O. Absinthe. I have a confession, I dreaded this book- to the starting of it, to the finishing of it. It would mean my time with these dark, brutal and dangerous men was coming to an end. But curiosity has always been a weakness of mine. The reminder says it all. THERE IS NO LOVE WHERE DARKNESS GROWS, BUT YOU COULD LEARN TO LOVE THE DARKNESS. And I have learned to love- crave the darkness. It’s done, I have finished- it feels as though I’ve completed a rough and tumble journey. These characters have grown so much and I have with them. I know I’m starting this review backwards- but alas such is life with its surprises. Anywho, this is a beautifully dark and seductive tale of three Kings- monsters- who have decided on their Queen. It’s a wild and exciting journey. Only sadness is that it is done. Enjoy!!
Honestly, it needs a little more editing BUT this story line kept me hooked along with a few subplots. And with that... there's no harm in trying it. Why Choose, Hey?
Was this objectively a literary masterpiece? No. Did I absolutely enjoy myself? Absolutely. Would I read another? Absolutely 💯 And it was just getting good too 🤣
…. hell yeah dude wtf this book was awesome! a little unconventional compared to other wc books i’ve read but i still loved that journey! and the ending? HELL YES DUDE I WAS WAITING FOR THAT SHIT
Loved that this series kept your attention with every book! I’ve had a lot of series take a turn by 3rd or even 2nd book to where my interest is lost. But not this series, I was on the edge all 5 books!! Love that it has the right amount of spice!
