I love how we can see physical touch is their love language. It’s in the way Euredian carries her around, how Yerenika constantly asks for hugs, and the way Euredian constantly kisses her forehead, nose, and lips. I also love how jealous Euredian got when Yerenika almost hugged the priest.
Finally. Back to that good shit. I honestly think I’ve been deprived of my “MC almost dies and then comes back to life and is in a ton of pain and wants to save other characters so they sacrifice themselves causing more pain and almost dying again and it’s described in depth” plots. I really enjoyed the major action scene. How the fmc basically died and then came back and how she made a pact with a god and passed out from the pain but. Not enough panels describing the pain. Idk I’m a glutton for some body horror and descriptions of pain. Also. At a certain point. You just need to tell the MMC what’s going on. Bro spent them whole epic fight just kinda. Being confused about what is going on. Please. Tell him everything. Please. I beg. I’m losing my mind. Honestly. I think I just miss the cruel prince trilogy. It had good torture scenes and angst. Every time I read something of that nature I now compare it to that and. They never hold a candle to cruel prince. I’m just tired of feeling like “oh this was good but it would be so much better if it was the cruel prince”. Like. Can’t we enjoy what we’re reading right now??? Apparently not. Whatever. Enough ranting my fingers are going numb and honestly. I’m just tired of feeling like I could read something better. Not enjoying what I’m reading because it isn’t something else that is better. 😔
But let's start from the beginning (or so). Things got so confusing. Not even on the surface you understand what is happening exactly. It's hard to understand even if you go back and read it again, because we need way more background!
And the resolutions were even worse! Like explain to me why they opted for that option. WHY. It feels like not even the protagonists know why they're doing what they're doing.
And fucking Theresia!! I hate Livovny's royal family. They have reasons, I guess, but we don't know them enough to not want to swipe them off from the story!
I admit that I found the story as messy. It is also a bit cringy as the female lead is the one chasing for the male lead. I find some of her actions as childish, but overall, I love the both the main leads. I love the redemption that they gave for the villain and that they also told her story. The ending is also cute and I like how their love language remain consistent.
