Life since the "Incident" has been anything but normal. Lasting changes to the physical world have led to a dramatic rise in tensions and turmoil in the system has put the relatively new Seri government on the brink of collapse. What began as an underground movement to revive the Old Empire has gained in strength, threatening a revolution and using both Merythalis and Piri as their rally cry for change.
With Neph on the front lines of the political upheaval, consumed with trying to stabilize the situation, and Piri struggling to handle an increasingly volatile and secluded life in which he has been branded a social pariah, along with serious lingering physical repercussions from Merythalis, their world has begun to fall apart. The relationship strained nearly to breaking and life collapsing around them, the two are thrown into an untenable situation, caught between political ambitions and supernatural forces, all focused on Piri and an ancient order that could destroy everything they know.

About the author

3 books12 followersI was formerly a fashion designer and graphic designer, creating everything from footwear and apparel to tradeshow booths and marketing materials. From the time I've been young, I've held an intimate love for both art and writing. The Enpirion Project has allowed me to merge those together and create something special.
While I work in pencils, acrylics and oils, my true love and the medium I most commonly work with is digital. I spend most of my time in Photoshop CS6 on my trusty 13” Cintiq.
I have 10 years of experience in the fashion industry and over 15 in art and graphic design. Trained for the game industry at DigiPen Institute of Technology, I currently freelance to the industry as well as doing private commissions and contract graphic design work.

I know this book is heavier than book one, by a lot, but I absolutely love how sweet the romance is! It lightens the mood and showcases what a healthy relationship looks like!💖
I also love the foreshadowing and hints to other things that happened already! It is a well written book and I love how real this world feels!

One of the highlights of Nadir is learning more about Nephael—his upbringing, his family, and the experiences that shaped him. This added depth only strengthens the bond between Neph and Piri, showcasing a partnership built on trust, understanding, and shared resilience. Their relationship remains the heart of the story while still further learning about Piri, where he came from, and who he is to his core.
The pacing is noticeably quicker than book one, balancing action with meaningful character moments, while Piri and Neph's relationship and the LGBTQ+ representation is thoughtfully and flawlessly woven into the narrative. Book Two deals heavily with the mental health of both our main characters. Piri is struggling to understand how he fits in now while Neph seems to be pulling away. Neph is literally drowning in work and seems to be keeping secrets.
We end up on quite an adventure with these two through cities and portals while always being in danger.
I also really enjoyed the Interludes from the other characters POV’s. It was a great way to get a larger picture of what was going on but in a way that wasn’t confusing.
Overall, I enjoyed this book more than the first which makes me even more excited for the next book!
Really rooting for Piri and a Neph to have a happy ending 🖤

I could not read this book fast enough. Piri and Neph are forced to rediscover their trust and love for each other. Mental health recovery, facing fears and embracing each other. Fantastic!
Neph has sacrificed all he can to keep Piri safe - including his time and energy. Piri is pretty much under house arrest - when he leaves the apartment, Piri is met with open hostility. No one cares he saved the world two years ago - all they see is a potential weapon, lack of any compassion or empathy.
In a coup, Piri is used by his previous handlers to create chaos and death. Desperate to escape, Neph and Piri travel outside of their world. Together they encounter The Dark, fighting for their freedom and each other.

After reading book one I got the second one as a gift from the author and I must say the second is just as good as the first one I found myself reading almost 10 chapters with a single hour. I found myself laughing and crying and getting angry just as much as I did with the first book . If you want a book that you can dive right into and feel like your part of that world then this series is for you . I can't wait for book 3 to be finished so I can't continue with the series

Book 2 in The Enpirion Project continues this epic fantasy, queer romance novel. The intricate world building and dynamic character development continue to keep me glued to this story. This one has more magic, more battles, and more friendships. The foreshadowing is great, too, and I see this series continuing!
