I’ve wanted to write books for adults for as long as I can remember but I was too scared to try. One day I decided to be brave and dipped a toe into the bubble bath of romantic comedy with my first novella, Cupidity, and I’ve never looked back. I often try to be funny to be funny, except for when faced with traffic wardens and border control staff. My favourite thing is making people smile.

I’ve tried many jobs over the years, from barmaid to market researcher and I even had a brief flirtation with modelling. These days I am mostly found writing.

I live near London with my grey tabby cat, Portia. We both have an unhealthy obsession with Marmite.

Another fitting title to fit another great story. It's becoming more of a Gina, Ben and Max triangle as the story progresses. I love drunk Ben and am growing annoyed with Max. Throw in the sort of villain of the story Rose.

Well this is part 3 to the Picture House by the Sea series and it just keeps getting better and better. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and so don't want it to end.

The story is truly well written and I can't wait to find out how it all ends in part 4.

The ice cream flavours just keep sounding delicious, especially the Tiramisu one. Good job I'm not eating them for real as I'd be putting weight on like anything, not good.

Right off to read part 4, the last instalment.

This is the third part in the latest serialisation from Holly Hepburn and I have been loving it so far. One of the things I like best about this series is that each installment is short enough to read in one sitting, taking between one and two hours to read, but each one is also a mini novel in itself. There are chapters so if you are short on time or you are reading this on a commute, you can read a chapter at a time and still get through the story fairly quickly, but each one is also action packed, full of things happening, and frustratingly not happening, but also full of great characters you grow to love or hate!

Speaking of characters, this particular installment features even more of my favourite character Carrie, I would love for her to get her own spin off by the way! I really loved her as a secondary character and she features even more prominently in this third novella. I really love the spirit that she has. Main character Gina does rely on her for a lot of things but in this novella we see her getting something back from Gina too, I just really love their friendship.

Of course we get healthy doses of all our other favourite characters too, Gina and her grandparents, Ben, Max and Goran and somewhat villain of the piece Rose. I still can't get over how calmly Gina takes everything in her life. She just stays calm and fixes all the problems that are sent her way, although she does show a little more human quality of running away from her problems ever so slightly this time around. There wasn't quite enough Ben in this episode for me, I mean I love Ben and so I could have him mentioned on every page and it still wouldn't be enough, but he does have a couple of very key scenes in the story and he did make me laugh so I'll let him off there. I am growing increasingly cross with Max but I really hope this all irons itself out in episode 4!

This installment obviously concerns a screening of Dirty Dancing but we also get to see another film screened at the picture house at the end of this episode and there are countless other films mentioned throughout the story which I just love. I feel like this book is tempting me to put down my reading and go and watch films all day instead, I feel a little conflicted by this but I love it at the same time. I really can't wait for the final installment in the series to come out. I have loved having these novellas land on my Kindle every so often but now I really want to find out how the story ends, and read about even more flavours of ice cream of course!

Another fab read in this collection by Holly Hepburn-can't wait for the next one to be released hence why it only gets 4 stars as the stories are short books which will eventually be published into one book (far too long to wait for the 1 book though).

Great easy read for a miserable rainy Saturday afternoon.

Characters are likeable and real. Wish Gina would wake up and realise she's with the wrong guy.

Another 5 star instalment of the series. Part three is just as good as those previous and is easy to read in one sitting.

**Part Three of the brilliant new series from the bestselling author of the Star and Sixpence series. Perfect for all fans of Cathy Bramley.**

The little picture house by the sea is the Palace at **Polwhipple** – a lovely art deco cinema, nestled in front of azure **Cornish **seas. But it is long past its heyday now, and its only saving grace is **Ferelli's**, the family run **ice-cream** concession in the foyer, which is widely known as the best ice-cream for miles.

**Gina** is in Polwhipple to help her grandfather, the owner of Ferelli's, and has taken charge. Now there is a 'closed for refurbishment' sign hanging in the window. But just because the picture house is closed, doesn't mean there can't be a movie screening... and there's only one place for it! **Pre-order **now to see how Gina pulls off her biggest event yet... and find out who will be the Johnny to her Baby...

**What people are saying about the Star and Sixpence series:**

**'Warm, witty **and laced with** intriguing secrets' Cathy Bramley**

'The** perfect book **to start the** new year' Rowan Coleman**

'**A treasure** of a find and I was **completely enveloped** within this world from the very first page.** 5 stars**!' **Becca's Books**

'A** thoroughly lovely **and** entertaining** read!' **Book Kaz**

'A **charming** story with **real characters** and an** idyllic **setting' **Fictionophile **
