Isaac Jedwab known as Yves Jamiaque. He was a French writer, director, adapter, playwright and screenwriter.
He followed university studies in the humanities and obtained a license in history.
He was president of the SACD (Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers) - 1981/1983, president of the International Council of Dramatic Authors within the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC).
He wrote various plays, performed in prestigious theaters. He directed his own plays for television.
His adaptation of Don Quixote is regularly repeated.
His pieces have been performed in many countries (United States, Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Germany, USSR, ...) where they are still performed regularly today.
He wrote a few films based on his own works, but he also adapted several books by famous authors (this was the case with Signé Alouette). For television, he writes about fifty series and dramas.
