I needed a quick read and despite the fact that the title includes "Erotic Sex", which it certainly did, there was a story here I enjoyed too.
Best friends older brother is definitely one of my jams. Of course she is forbidden from hooking up with him but who can stop love?

This was a freebie from somewhere or other that I picked up because of the obnoxious cover. Is he some sort of an alien warrior? Does he play sportsball in the nude? Does he need armour while he's having sex? The tiny text implies it's a bully romance.
Okay so the cover turns out to be slightly misleading. Not only is the book not about nude alien sportsball, and not really about a bully (okay as a kid he did some youthful pranks to annoy her but it's been a while) but it is not about Big Brother's Quarterback Friend either.
The FMC Lindsey is a virginal (at first) college student with a crush on her friend Amy's brother Austin. I don't think the FMC has a brother. The book is apparently a part of a forced and forbidden romance series but it's a mutual crush and the forbidden aspect is not any dramatic Romeo-Juliet thing. His tyrannical dad wants him to focus on sportsball, her clingy, emotional vine, co-dependent mom is worried about bad dudes hurting her feelings, and Amy doesn't want her friends dating her brother. But we are not seeing why Amy gets to decide who anyone other than Amy is allowed to date. And the parental opposition fizzles to a nothingburger. In the end the biggest obstacle on the way to HEA is Lindsay.
Lindsay thinks Austin is some sort of a manhoe yet they have sex without condoms her first time. Austin is a secret artist and at one point he takes a seminude photo of Lindsey sleeping and then paints her. She thought it was amazing and romantic. But where I'm from, taking intimate bedroom photos without consent would be a crime.
And they drive drunk. And there's some pissing contest with his team mates and a Cruella De Bimbo type of a girl lusting for Austin. And Amy is the most overdramatic overdrama queen who ever overdramatized. Sure, Amy, it's all about you.
So, yeah. I felt a bit too old for this story.
My favorite part was how Austin couldn't care less about being drafted to NFL. (Because that was at least a bit different from all your other future pro championship heroes.)
Steam level: I skimmed through several sex scenes but his cock is mentioned 47 times in 165-ish pages.

This was a short and sweet college romance between Lyndsey and her best friends brother. I'm not really sure where the idea "taboo" comes from or that he's a bully - he's literally so sweet and my fave out of all the characters. I wasn't too keen on Lyndsey myself, she seemed to not know what she was doing half the time and showing mixed feelings. I think if it was longer more could have been done with it, especially the story regarding Lyndeys parents. I'd check out more from this Author as I think she does a few short standalones that would be a good fix to read in-between longer books.
There's some smut in here but only low level so don't feel intimidated by the title. And there's no bully so ignore that too.

How did i feel about this book?
This book was amazing. Everything that happened in it was amazing. I loved reading every second of this book. It was so hard to put my kindle down to go to sleep at night because i was thinking about what would happen in the next chapter. This book is interesting and if your like me and love romance with a little bit of spice this book is perfect for you!

Awesome book!!
This was a very good read. You have a beautiful woman who is in love with her best friend brother but her best friend has told her she didn’t want her to have feelings for her brother. They try to hide their feelings but a jealous person tells the sister and all hell breaks loose. But you do get a happily ever after!!! Great book!!

Explosive and Swoon Worthy
What happens when people keep secrets from those they love??? People get hurt and trust is shattered. Lindsay should have bit the bullet and been upfront with Amy about her true feelings towards Amy's brother, Austin! Lindsay and Austin are good together and despite Austin being an athlete, he is one of the good ones. This was an explosive read that ends with a great happily ever after. It was a truly butter melting good read.

This was a quick college romance read with best friends brother however some of the writing was a bit stilted and could’ve been fleshed out more, plus the over dramatics of the friends being upset was overkill.

Darn Good
This book is my favorite so far by Izzie Vee. The story line was superb. I couldn't put this book down. It was a quick read and I was slightly sad to finish it. This book was so freaking good.

best friend’s brother trope is such a hit or miss. why is the sister the main one being awful and the couple has to be the one to apologize 🤨. it was not that serious for her to be sobbing and slapping her “best friend” bffr.
