The Eternal has more power than Rob. Somehow he must progress to stop him—and the one he serves.
Rob’s new allies struggle to understand the changing power that flows through his realm, having now added water essence to the others and purifying the unity essence the Netheral taught him to use. It allows considerable power, and has given Rob a chance to understand the thorny essence that has grown across one part of the realm.
While there, he finds a surprising connection to the past that explains why the realms were sundered. Understanding those secrets, including what happened to the Netheral, may provide answers about their present danger.
They don’t have much time. The Eternal presses his attack. And while Rob thinks he’s progressed enough to face him, the Eternal heralds something worse.
And Rob has already drawn its attention.
Dragon Herald is book 11 in an exciting progression fantasy series!
Dragon Herald is the eleventh book in the Blood of the Ancients Series by Dan Michaelson & D.K. Holmberg - it is an epic fantasy, with a coming-of-age adventure, and high-stakes heroism. We follow Rob, a young man who, unlike most of his people, is not transformed by the mystical “firewater” meant to strengthen warriors against the valley’s deadly threats. This twist sets him on a path of self-discovery, resilience, and unexpected power. The authors craft a vivid setting filled with dangerous creatures, ancient mysteries, and a tangible sense of history. The lore surrounding the “dragon forged” and the valley’s threats is original, intriguing, and quite richly detailed. Each book builds momentum, balancing action with quieter, emotional moments. The stakes escalate naturally, keeping me invested the whole way through. The series leans into familiar fantasy tropes, so seasoned readers might predict some plot threads – but they still deliver an engrossing read. Happy Reading…
Congratulations to D.K. Holmberg and Dan Michaelson for this amazing series. Ibt’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book!
Nooo please don’t end there. I need more. Can’t wait until the 11th April. Love the characters, love the twists and turns of the different plots. Still have a problem with the editing but can almost live with this.
An interesting twist to the storyline, or maybe I should have seen it, anyway the twist just made it better, but the pacing is truly slow, I think the Author is stretching the storyline for the past few books, if not for the twist, this book would been the same as Book 10.
