Absolutely one of my all time favorite books! I couldn’t put it down!! Levi’s character was written so beautiful. The book is raw, truly. In the most beautiful way. It’ll make you cry, it’ll make you hurt, and it’ll make you feel, but overall, it’ll give you happiness, make you laugh, and fall in love. You can tell this author spent a lot of time researching the topic, and wrote such a tragic event in the upmost respectful way, making you feel everything. It’s almost like you’re IN the book. Everything comes to life, and you can see everything so clearly. Mason has now became one of my favorite authors, and I can’t wait to see what else they can come up with.

’ve said a hundred times since I started reading this book, it is beautifully written. I felt the emotions of every single character while I read, and I felt them full force. When they were hurting, so was I. I’ve cried about a hundred times while reading. This story is tragic, beautiful, sad, and happy all at the same time. It brings awareness to things that honestly need more awareness in the world we live in. Never stop doing what you do, because you do it well. And it matters

Genuinely one of my favorite books I've read. A long one, but it's evident early on that it is worth the read. Although some subject matter is not suitable or may be difficult to read for some, it is very important and approaches the topics in a sophisticated, healthy, and conducive way. It does not glorify any of the traumas and experiences of the characters, but rather teaches the reader good, genuinely helpful coping mechanisms. I'd give this book a good 11/10 Ferris wheel kisses.

The ghost of you is an inspiring tale about a young man's recovery in the wake of a school shooting. It does not glorify the trauma and it cuts deep to the root of his issues in a respectful way. The story is very emotional but in a positive way. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, Sometimes at the time.

The ghost of you takes you through his winding journey of trying to find a way to cope with his PTSD and the loss of his friends. I grew attached to the characters the instant i met them. Levi's story is so riveting that you will not want to set the book down from the moment you pick it up.I read all 776 pages in 2 days and I'll do it again soon.

Not many people like to talk about mental health. Especially Men's mental health and The Ghost of You does it more justice than I ever thought possible between the pages of a book. I can not speak highly enough about this book. If have ever experienced Sorrow, Depression, Anxiety, or PTSD this book will resonate with your soul.

I'll be keeping an eye out for Mason's future works and you should too. I have no doubt they will be a big name one day!

If you like Thirteen Reasons Why you will love this Series.

This book touches topics that need to be talked about! I really felt for Levi, and everything that he struggled with in this book! I loved the development of the characters, and getting to see everything that Levi was going through. The Ghost of You is a must read for everyone out there! Especially in this day in age where here in the US, school shootings happen almost daily, and parents fear sending their children to school.

This story needs to be told, and we need to listen. Things like this happen so much here, and we almost never pay attention when the media moves on to the next thing that happens. These survivors are out here living with so much pain and guilt, and we could do so much to help. Mason does an amazing thing with helping catch the readers attention but also keeps the story close to your heart as you feel every emotion and all the pain that the characters are also feeling.

Not only that, but Mason also donates a little bit from every book sale to march of our lives and actively speaks on mental health, shootings, and so much more. We need more authors like Mason Carlisle out here. I can't wait to read what Mason comes out with next.
