Leon plunges into the third entry in the dating-sim series to rendezvous with its main character and love interests. Unfortunately, the scenario is already breaking down: one of the male romance options is now a woman! Meanwhile, the female lead is off enjoying herself with a knight who didn't even appear in the original game. And in the shadows of the capital, a murderer is on the loose... Can Leon drag this spiraling story back on track?!
back to the academy. not a fan of the new characters, too tropey. this novel has a few interesting plot points that I hope will be explored in this arc (what are the dukes doing?), but otherwise it's kinda bland. The whole Rachel kingdom "revolution" felt also very underwhelming. Since MC is too OP, author tries to introduce ridiculous enemies. but this gets tedious after a while (i.e. very quickly).
The 9th volume of Trapped in a Dating sim gets back on track with the plot and humor. New characters are introduced, some loose ends are tied up, and a few new characters appear, including a family member?
I think the best part of this novel was all the clapbacks to the previous books in the series.
If you are this far in you are hooked just like me. I have only none complaint at this point I love all the supporting characters but we need more face time with the ladies and so does Leon!
Leon and crew are back at the academy for their 3rd year and the 3rd Otome game. Overall, I enjoyed this one but I hope we get an explanation for the mechanism behind the reincarnations soon.
I love how the story. Twists from high drama to low humour. And the way the story followed a fictional game. I can't wait to see how bad the leads life become.
