Sally Townsend, of Loyalist Oyster Bay, Long Island, walks a tightrope of allegiances. While appearing neutral, she secretly helps the Patriot cause. When the dashing British Officer, Lt. Colonel John Graves Simcoe, moves into her home, Sally is taken with the handsome, though sometimes ruthless officer. Simcoe is immediately infatuated with the beautiful Sally and proposes marriage. Angela Moody lives in Vermont with her husband, Jim and her cat. Their son, Stephen and his wife, Amanda live nearby. Daughter Alison is a law student at Rutgers University. Angela has been writing short stories and novels from an early age, always in the historic fiction genre where she feels she shines. One of her passions is crochet. From the time she learned the craft, she was “hooked”. She loves reading, writing stories and spending time with her family. One of the items on her bucket list is to visit every civil war battlefield site at the time of year each battle took place.
