Vielen Dank an LYX und NetGalley für dieses Exemplar es hat meine Meinung nicht beeinflusst.
Das Cover ist sehr schön und passt zur Autorin dazu außerdem fügt es sich sehr gut in die Vorgängerbände mit ein.
Mein Fazit:
Der Schreibstil ist sehr gut und die Geschichte lässt sich gut lesen. Natürlich kennen wir ja bereits die Geschichte von Hades und Persephone - doch dieses Mal lernen wir Hades sehr viel besser kennen. Und ich muss wirklich gestehen, ich kann jetzt ein paar Sachen viel besser nachvollziehen - jetzt wo ich beide Seiten kenne. Doch ihr braucht nicht zu glauben, dass ihr jetzt alles doppelt lesen werdet, nein das ist nicht der Fall. Denn hier geht es wirklich allein um Hades und was er so aus seinem Leben macht und wie er wahr genommen wird.
Hades gibt sich oft als sehr grausam aus - doch in der Zeit wo er Persephone kennen gelernt hat, hat er angefangen sich zu verändern. Auch seine Freunde ist das aufgefallen.
Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf die nächsten beiden Bücher aus seiner Sicht - ich will unbedingt wissen wie es mit ihm weiter geht und welche Veränderung er so noch durchmacht.
Zur Geschichte:
Hades erblickt Persephone in seinem Club - sie schlägt ihm ein Spiel vor - welches sie verloren hat. Sie bekommt das Mal aufgedrückt. Er bittet sie mit in die Unterwelt zu kommen und dort zeigt er ihr, was er von ihr erwartet. Er ist nämlich davon überzeugt, dass sie das schaffen kann. Und außerdem gibt es da noch die Wetter die er mit der Göttin der Liebe eingegangen ist. Doch im Laufe der Zeit verschwindet die Wette aus seinen Kopf, den er erfährt das die Leben der beiden bereits verwoben sind. Jetzt geht es nur noch darum sie von ihm zu überzeugen.
Und ob ihm das geling und wie er es anstellen wird - findet ihr sehr schnell heraus.

A touch of ruin was so frustrating, but this book made me like Persephone again. She seems so much more confident. I also feel that the things I hated about a game fate are non existent. This book has confirmed for me I will finish the series. I also feel like my love for Hermes has grown so much!!!

It was a very interesting book. It had a lot of plot twists but in the end I absolutely loved it and have recommended it to friends. The second book left you on a cliff hanger tho
