“You become the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” - Jim Roth, author and motivational speaker 👦🏻

"Science is often misrepresented as ‘the body of knowledge acquired by performing replicated controlled experiments in the laboratory’. Actually, science is something broader: the acquisition of reliable knowledge about the world." - Jared Diamond 🧪

Part of the 101 Things I Learned series by Matthew Frederick, 101 Things I Learned in Psychology School is a book that provides a fascinating overview of some psychology concepts.🧑🏻‍⚕️

As someone who is interested in the science of the mind, I find these concepts interesting to read. They serve as good reminders for myself to avoid common misconceptions (e.g. left vs right brain, psychiatry vs psychology etc). 🧠

Although the graphics do not always effectively complement the text, and more information could have been provided for the many studies mentioned, this still works as a quick overview that some will find useful! 📒

Bite-size psychology fun facts, would be much better if author can provide greater depth and expanded details of the studies and examples mentioned.
