Ky “Orion” Stanford, Treasurer for the Poseidon’s Warriors MC, is content with how his life has turned out. During his military tenure, he met a group of men who are now family, and since he never plans to get tied down with an old lady or wife, he enjoys playing the field. With Reef now gone, he and Atlas oversee the club’s auto repair shop, and he also helps Brooks whenever there’s a skip trace that requires two of them. Basically, for him, life is good and one big party, and he’s along for the ride.
Until the day she drives into town. The diminutive redhead with two little girls calls to his soul in a way no one has ever done before. He knows she’s meant to be his; the problem is, she won’t even give him the time of day beyond polite conversation when she’s at work. She rebuffs his attempts to help her out, telling him she has to stand on her own two feet, but she always does it so sweetly, he doesn’t mind too much.
But when her past shows up and she finally shares some truths with him, albeit while she’s in hysterics, he realizes the game plan has to change and he sets out doing that very thing.
Roane Williams pulled into the parking lot of the club’s shop with a prayer on her lips that they’d be able to fix her car. When the men there went above and beyond, she decided to use the education she had to help get everything in order as a means to pay them back. Even though she’s not an old lady or wife, she often finds herself going to the clubhouse for this party or that get-together, making friends with the old ladies as she navigates single motherhood.
While she’s noticed Orion since he always seems to be around, her own past with a narcissistic abusive man won’t let her dream of any kind of future. Instead, she focuses on giving her girls the best she can while she heals from the traumas of her past. Traumas she didn’t know she had until one of the old ladies and she talk.
Will Orion break through to Roane so he can show her what it means to be the center of someone’s universe or is she too broken to see the promise of what he has to offer?
**Suitable for ages 18+ due to subject matter, language and situations**
Lover of words. Author of "perfectly imperfect romance". Since starting this journey in August 2016, I've published eight books, two children's books, and have been part of two different coloring books. In short, I'm fulfilling a lifelong dream and would love to have you join me!
Ky "Orion" Stanford knew when he saw Roane Williams with her two little girls that she was meant to be his. He also knows right off the bat that she needs time to heal and grow stronger. He is biding his time but after showing up every opportunity to get close to her, but she seems oblivious to his feelings. When Roane gets hurt though Orion makes his move and has every intention of never letting her go.
This was a good one. I liked that Roane finds her own sense of worth in the book because she was raised in a environment where women were made to serve. I really liked Orion he is perfect for Roane. Terrific slow burn romance.
The series is now done! So sad….but wait a new series will start with Tessie and all of the characters we have to love will in and out of the books. It will be like it’s continuing.
I really enjoyed this one! I know I say after every instalment that the couple featured is my favourite but this time it’s true. The lives they lived, the traumas they endured and roads travelled to find each other would have broken lesser people but for Roane and Orion it made them stronger and taught them to cherish each other and loved ones.
I really like the lack of club girls in this book, while drama is needed it was provided in other ways.
Seeing all the members and their families is always a delight.
This was a great series and all kidding aside I am sad that there will be no new Poseidon Warrior books.
Thank Darlene Tallman for this series and others you have written!
This is a must read story. Roane grew up believing that no matter the circumstances, she was to take care of her wifely duties and sadly didn't quite realize that what her husband did was rape her, not once but twice, and the results were having two adorable little girls so close in age. Before Paul left for his deployment, he filed for divorce and she and the girls had thirty days to vacate. She wound up in the perfect place because her car started giving her trouble and Orion was there to save the day.. Orion himself didn't have a great childhood, but being with his club brothers and their families, has helped him understand how to take care of his lady and her children. A few twist and turns throughout, but you get to read for yourselves to see what happens next. Happy reading.
It was hard not to root for Roane when she first showed up. You could see her start to become who she should have been had her ex not been a POS. Yet, I was glad that Orion finally made a move on her. But with these guys being who they are, that move was so subtle, Roane knew he was interested and willing to wait for her to be ready. This was good for Roane, so she didn't freak out. It also helped in a weird way that both of them ended up being hurt and depending on the other for help as they got well. It allowed them to get to know each other better and really decide if this is what they wanted. Once that choice was made, it was full steam ahead for them, they were quickly wed and living an easy life as a family.
Orion’s Universe is the final installment in Darlene Tallman’s Poseidon’s Warrior MC series. In it she chronicles the romantic journey of Roane and Orion in this age-gap romance. Roane survives an abusive relationship with her ex-husband, Paul, and tries to start a new life in Mountain Bend. There she meets Orion. It is a love at first sight romance, however, both Roane and Orion fight this attraction due to their individual past emotional demons. Can they overcome their fears? Is the threat from Paul over? Can they find happiness? You must read this book to discover what unfolds.
Yet again, Ms. Tallman did an outstanding job with this biker romance and a delightful way to end this series. I like her use of a character driven plot line. Her talent in creating multi-dimensional characters, rich dialog (both conversational and monologues), the use of a dual POV, and vivid scenes contribute to moving this character-driven plot along. She continues her trend of using lead characters in there are strong and independent; yet, vulnerable. Ms. Tallman continues to include a small cast of secondary characters that help readers glean the inner workings of their MC family.
I was a little disappointed in the last book but this one took me back to the prior quality. The storyline was interesting and the characters charismatic. You need to read the books in order to get the best out of them as the stories do run on from each other and it’s the best way to learn about each character. These books are really light on the MC side of things but they are easy read romances that we all need at times. I think anyone can read these books if you like the romance side of the books rather than a heavier, edgier MC read.
I choose this rating because this is actually a pretty great book. I really enjoy pretty much all of the characters. This was a book of protection, determination, compassion, kindness, gentleness, and overall being there for the one you love. I really enjoyed Orion and Ronan story. The author did a great job with putting these characters together. Orion knew that to get with Ronan she was a package deal and he enjoyed every minute of it. He loved her and her girls. This was a really great book. I recommend this book to all romance readers at MC lovers.
The last of Poseidon's Warriors MC finds his forever. Ky "Orion" has been enamored of Roane, who arrived with her "almost dead" car in town. Just making it to the PW garage, her car is fixed and Orion is interested. However, the young woman with the two babies is very guarded and will not let any man too close. They need to trust while beginning to work together. KY has everything he wants within reach - finally. There are some trials they have to go through first.
I have loved this series from the very start and Orion and Roane story is the icing on the cake. I'm sad to see this series end ,but excited to see we will still see them in a new series. Roane has overcome so much and thanks to Orion and the ol ladies she and her girls now know what it it truly means to be loved. This is a amazing series and I recommend it to everyone.
I absolutely fell in love with this series from book 1, and I'm sad it's ending, but looking forward to this family continuing in the spinoff series!! 😁
Roane's trauma is intense, but the way these guys & their ol ladies support her is awesome. And the care Orion takes with her, and her girls, is beautiful! I love the patience and adoration he has for them.
This story made me tear up, smile, and laugh out loud. Thumbs way up!!
I have read all the books of the series and enjoyed them all.... But there was something about this one that I liked the best. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't realize until the last few chapters there hadn't been any sexy times to that punt and it flows so well that you don't miss it. Now I've got to go back and read some of the books from series before this one.
Orion's Universe is book 9 in the captivating and beautifully written series Poseidon's Warriors MC by the talented author Darlene Tallman. Ky 'Orion" Stanford & Roane Williams, two wonderful characters with an intense chemistry. I loved every second of this book. The story was filled with plenty of drama, amazing characters, sweet little girls, lots of emotions, suspense, family loyalty and a beautiful romance. I really enjoy reading this series.
Orion had decided long ago having a family and an Ol’Lady was not for him. Finding a woman that catches his attention throws him for a loop but will she be willing to love him. Her past is not pretty and she is naive in many ways but Orion is a patient man. Mild triggers of abuse but only mentioned briefly at times.
I loved this story. Orion is such a sweetheart. It is amazing how he falls for Ronan and her girls immediately but he doesn't push her to heal from her past. I can't decide who of Poseiden's warriors I like the best. They all are wonderful men falling for wonderful, bent not broken women.
Really enjoyed this book. Orion meets his love when she pulls into the mechanic shop when her car breaks down. She is freshly divorced from her abusive husband and has 2 infants that he instantly falls in love with. I recommend that that you read the previous books in the series to further enjoy the characters.
Ms Dar and Ms Lib were two of the first authors that I started reading when I rediscovered my passion for reading!😍 I'm so glad I found them early on, because it's been a wild and wonderful ride🏍🏍They are 2 of the most talented authors together and separately! Very talented storytellers and I can't wait for more😘
Her ex was a complete Douche. How could you treat your children and your wife like that. No one deserves to be treated that way. I'm so happy She found Orion his brother's and their old ladies. Mary and Shamus were wonderful. I just started reading this series from this author and will continue. Plus not one typo!
Roane has been hurt and treated badly from her ex husband. She works and lives for her two babies. Orion claimed her from first sight, you'll see and feel how they find their way together. Darlene Tallman does an awesome job writing this book as well as all her other books.
It could have been better if it explained more about her ex husband and what he was blaming her 4 and the deal was with the chain holding the engine. I feel like it touched those 2 things then didn't finish it but skipped it 4 sum reason then went back 2 their blooming relationship. It was really good expect 4 those spots...
Oh my goodness! Orion and Roxane’s story made me so happy! They just fit together so well! And the way he is with her two little girls! Sigh! He’s just dreamy. And I’m so excited for Canyon & Chelsea - I can’t wait to see how everything turns out. And a new series? Tessie gets her own story? I am just thrilled!
Awesome book! Every book is awesome! I love the whole brotrhood/sisterhood plus family settings these books have! Throw in some babies and a little drama its the best. I always hate to see the series end
Love how the author doesn't over play Roane's life, yet shows enough to allow it to be believable. Orion has a huge hill to climb, yet never doubts the end results. A beautiful and gripping story.
Such a beautiful picture you painted for Orion and Roane’s relationship, I love word you’ve built for the PWMC, And sincerely hope there are more books coming for them!
This book is the story of Ky and Roxane. Her awful first marriage and the fallout from it and Ky’s patience as she works through her problems. It is a wonderful story of love really conquering all.
Falls for the new Single Mom working at the bakery and mechanic shop. But she's dealing with an abusive ex and will need Orion and the club to protect them. Another great book in this book series.
What can I say. Ky is perfect for Roane. Her past is traumatizing and Ky comes into her life with patience, friendship and love. This is a great read with all the feels. Darlene did it again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a story of an abused ex wife and a biker. They travel a bumpy path, overcoming physical and mental issues (getting over abuse). They have the MC helping them along the way. Lots of excitement. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger (just a teaser for the next book). I love a great story with characters that will steal your heart. Enjoy.
He almost lost the chance to have his universe. Roane's ex was determined to destroy everything good in her life. I'm glad Orion was there to do for her what the ex wouldn't and couldn't do.
