Mfon Gordon was a consummate actor, director, and lecturer. At forty, he surely knew what he wanted in his forever woman, and it wasn't a fair skinned one. Celibate over two years after a bad breakup, he was passionate about directing a romance movie featuring the touristic delights of both sister states of Akwa Ibom and Cross River. He succeeded in stumping the seductive efforts of his married Executive Producer, started the movie, and went to Mkpani during the Leboku Festival for filming. Mfon had barely gotten into town when he sighted the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. Suddenly, she became everything he wanted in his life even though she had the fairest skin he'd ever encountered and a dangerous boyfriend.
Recently orphaned Bright Omini had to visit Mkpani to live with her late mother's cousin for a while. Happy to be in the rustic town, she was passionate about joining the Leboku Festival Maiden Dance in memory of her mom. This passion ended up saddling the twenty-two year old with a boyfriend she didn't want or like in the least. Then the movie people came to Mkpani and she was faced with her all time celebrity crush who seemed attracted to her too. Except, nothing could happen between them because of her boyfriend. Nonetheless, something happened. Then calamity broke them apart and Bright was left wondering if it had all been a dream.
