Justice Manning is talked into a lingerie modeling job...and forgets her inhibitions after meeting the sinfully gorgeous photographer, Black Savoy. When the photo shoot turns hot and heavy, the last thing she pictures is that lust might turn to love.

Thank you Brenda Jackson for this book! I really enjoyed Blake and Justice’s story! She had commitment issues. Blake proved to her that she could love and commit. Her best friend set them up! Her best friend happens to be Blake’s cousin! This was an excellent read! On to book 2!!
First I love how Blake and Justice meet. He's a famous photographer hired by Tonya, his cousin, to spice up her website, by taking photos of beautiful and voluptuous women in sexy but tasteful lingerie. A huge case of "OH HELL YEAH" at first sight.
Both Blake and Justice knew what betrayal felt like, but when they saw each other, they knew this right here could be different!
I especially loved the part where Justice finally asked her mother why she and her aunts had such a problem with commitment and the answer was quite shocking!
This was a very good read, it is short but it held my attention. The h meets the H while he is on vacation, he is the cousin to her best friend. His cousin asked him to photograph her model who was the h, the photo shoots were extremely sexy because she was wearing lingerie for full figured women. They were instantly attracted to each other and fell in love. Great epilogue.
I love to read about black love that doesn’t consist of struggle. Blake is a successful photographer in town for a month to visit family. Justice is business owner and model for a plus size lingerie company. When Blake steps in and agrees to be the photographer for one of the shots, its love at first sight. I listened to this novella and loved how it jumped right into things. Blake and Justice had instant chemistry and their love story was sweet.
Ms. Jackson never fails to deliver. This was a good quick read excellent for passing the time while on a road trip, flight or waiting in the airport. This is a story about finding love and commitment that eluded the main characters in the pass. Solid storytelling, I can’t wait for book 2.
This was a quick instalove/instalust read. The H and h got together basically after a photoshoot. Everything happened so quickly. There wasn't much to the story other than that.
I liked the narrators voice for the male characters. He wasn't bad for the female, but I think it would have been better had their also been a female narrator.
Brenda Jackson is an amazing writer. Her books are spellbinding. You can't put them down. She takes you on the romantic journeys ups and downs until the happy ever after.
The heart knows what the heart wants even when the lips say different. It was empowering to see the sexiness of a full figure woman desired and celebrated!
Excellent read, I enjoyed the characters and storyline. There was an instant attraction between Blake and Justice. Their chemistry was intense. This is a sweet love story.
Another of Brenda's great stories. She has a way of keeping your glued to her books. I can't get enough of her writings. Commitment can hard for some, but keep on pushing and it may get better.
I alway enjoy Brenda Jackson’s books and so I enjoyed this short. So many people have issues that impact their relationships and some they are unaware of. I’m glad Blake and Justice worked theirs out.
I listened to the audio. This is a short story. Not one of my favorite’s by BJ. It seemed rushed and missing many pieces especially good romance. The narrator sounded horrible. Voice did not fit they style of reading. Overall 3 stars.
Tempting fate was a short and delectable tale of love at first sight. Old enough to know but still willing to learn. Love wins. And conquers all fears and creates new memories.
Dedicated to full figure women this novella is about 2 people with reservations about love. Blake & Justice embarks on a for now situation-ship but love at first sight is in the air. Will they live happily ever after or allow their past to dictate their future?
Read in one day! Short, sweet and sexy. Just a wonderful much-needed escapism. Give me a plus-sized heroine and a man who adores her and I’m sold. Loved it!
