3.5 ⭐️Paige said fuck around and find out. Paige's punishment for beating the shit out of her ex-husband and mistress was community service and attending at an anger management program. When I read about cheating relationships, I always root for the ladies to get their revenge and beat the shit out of the cheaters. I simply never considered the possibility of going to jail in a situation like that. Eric is the judge of the case. Eric was precisely what Paige needed to help break her out of her a state of sadness He had a significant positive impact on Paige's life. She needed a man like him who was real not that trash ass Trevor. This was a cute read and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop into something more.

Paige and Eric meet when Paige is waiting to be sentenced for beating the shit out of her ex-husband and mistress. Eric is the judge on her case. Weeks later neither can stop thinking about each other. Faith will have it and once again they run into each other on Paige birthday. Eric was all BDE and didn’t allow Paige to runaway. Trevor was a whole bxtch. I loved Paige finally getting HEA and the family she always wanted 🥰

Ms. Monae, you have dropped another one. Eric was the man for Paige. Her ex, Trevor was a pain for no reason. You would have thought she did him wrong when in reality it was all him. And then he had the nerve to try to threaten someone. Eric was who Paige needed in her life. She needed a real man that loved all of her inside and out. A man that told and showed her that she was beautiful. A man that accepted her as she was and didn't try to use her unfortunates against her. He also aided her in accomplishing a lifelong dream and start building a legacy. It is safe to say that Paige is sentenced to life with Eric. He has ruled in her favor.
This was a magnificent story that introduced another couple. I would love to read more about Danica and Bryan. I think their story may be a little wilder than Eric and Paige's. Before we get a full story on Danica and Bryan dive into this one. You will be entertained.

Paige was a sweetheart, and deserved all the love in the world! That damn Trevor was foul and disrespectful for the way he treated her! Then had the audacity to try to harass her and be a stalker?
Ughh.... I wanted somebody to handle his ass! 🤬 Eric, Mr. Judge was all that! The way he and Paige met was kinda crazy, but they both could not ignore the attraction. Eric was just what Paige needed to help get her out of her funk. Gentleman, kind, nurturing, protective and uplifted her when she felt self conscious. I was all team Eric, until he did that dumb ish! I get you wanting to help your friend, but pushing your girl to the side, and interrupting your happily ever after; had me giving him the 👀! Glad he got himself together, so he and Paige could love each other properly. Cute read.

This was a great story!
I loved Eric and Paige’s story, this was a quick read but the flow was great. I was like Eric I was rooting for you until you made that dumb mistake. But they got it together and I was happy. Eric definitely helped Paige gain that backbone, because the way she handled her ex was everything. Eric was very assertive about himself and his want for Paige and baby those sex scenes 🥵🥵🥵 I was like…okay Eric. Now I need a story about Bryan and Danica because I see an amazing story happening with them 👀🤣👀. You will love this story for sure!

Could have been great, but something was missing
Not a bad read, but not that great either? Something was missing and I didn’t feel the connection between Paige and Eric. Besides lukewarm sex scenes, they really didn’t come across as romantically connected. Paige was for sure very immature for her big ole age of 37! Why she just let her ex treat her like crap was beyond me. I loved Eric’s relationship with his daughter and ex - great example of how co-parenting should be done.

I loved this beauty from ashes story. My heart broke for Paige it seemed as if she just could not catch a break Her sorry ex husband made me want reach into the pages of the book and choke him he-really worked my nerves. Paige needed a real man in her life that could love her for the real queen that she was and the judge fit the bill perfectly.
What can I say about the fine ,compassionate , nurturing , protective Judge. Every women could use a man like Eric in there life. He had me a little concerned when he thought it was a good idea to put things on hold between he and Paige when a family emergency arose . He needed someone to love and to love him back and Paige was the one to do just that
Their journey to HEA was truly heartfelt, I enjoyed every page
Of it. It really would be interesting to read more about their close friends Daneca and Darren. I honestly think Daneca is afraid of love and she fronts by pretending to be a big flirt 😊. I’ll keep my eyes open just in case their comes to print.

This was no what I thought it was going to be at all 🫣😕
Man, this was not what I thought it was. This story was not moving nor was it entertaining and certainly not memorable. Boring and just plain blah, it actually was a trial for me to finish it. For two older/younger adults, they were extremely boring.
Paige was not only boring but she had no spark, nothing. While Eric, for a man was worst and what actually killed everything for me was the drop to take care of Shante. I thought now, there was going to be some actions, where Paige was going to grow a pair, go out, meet someone and Eric will have to grovel, plead his case and be remorseful but nopes, nothing, nada, zip… all was copacetic when he returned from his break. No punishment, no groveling, nothing except all system went back to normal. Even this is not only not how fiction is but let alone how real life is.
But that’s on me to grab such a book, that’s on me!!!! Will not do this mistake again, that’s for sure!

Love Trials is a quick read that doesn’t have a lot of drama. I mean there’s drama in the prologue and the author tries to sprinkle some throughout the book. However, I just didn’t find Trevor menacing, so I don’t even know if I’d classify the latter as drama.
Love Trials felt like a filler episode for a tv show. You know those episodes where nothing really happens but there’s a little bit of action? That’s this book.
I’m not mad at it though. After all of the dramatic ass storylines I’ve recently read from other authors, Love Trials was a good come down. I loved that Eric and Paige were so mature with their feelings. I also liked Eric and Paige’s meet cute (not the circumstances though), and thought they were perfect for one another.
Eric was a good book boyfriend, I loved Dante and Danica, and Paige was adorable. The book started with Paige being 36, but for some reason, it felt like she was in her 20s. Maybe it was her insecurities?
I was happy Paige was able to get her HEA.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cute love story with just a bit of drama added. Paige and Eric were so cute together and I loved their chemistry. I loved how Eric was constantly affirming Paige and helped her to know her worth once again. The drama came in the form of a cheating trash ex and I couldn't understand his issue with wanting to make Paige miserable, but Judge Eric said not on his watch. This couple found their happily ever after with their second marriage and I love that for them.

A great story of second chances!
Paige thought her life was fine until one day she caught her husband literally in the act of cheating. She lost it and fought him and his assistant! This resulted in ending up in Judge Eric Johnston's courtroom and that's where she ended up meeting her second chance! I loved how he and his ex Shante Coparented Ashanti and how caring and loving Eric was toward Paige. Her Ex was a jerk! In the end it all worked out for them and they got their HEA!

It was an ok read!!
The storyline was good, but I feel like the author had too many filler words ie “I opened the box of spaghetti and put it in water” or “I went to the bathroom and closed the door and then turned the water on”. Too many unnecessary words. The characters were cute, but the ex husband brand of crazy really didn’t fit. I did finish the book and it wasn’t terrible, just ok.

All The Feels..
I cannot thank you enough for this book, it was everything I didn’t know I needed. These relationships speak on so many levels, in many people lives I am sure. Coparenting relationships can work if the people realize it is about the children. You also can have successful relationships after conceiving a child with someone else. Thank you for displaying this type of love!!

I enjoyed reading about Eric and Paige’s love journey. Eric was instantly attracted to Paige the first time that he saw her which happened to be in his courtroom because she caught her trashy husband in her bed with his secretary Jill. They both deserved that butt whooping for the disrespect. I love the fact that Eric was a lover, nurturer, and protector towards Paige. He helped Paige build back up the confidence in herself that Trevor had torn down. I also love the fact that Trevor gave Paige sweet love and one of her heart’s desires….A baby son.

This was good read. Eric saw what he wanted and went for it. I’m glad Paige got out of her own way and allowed Eric to be there for her. Trevor was just dead weight! Shante and Ashanti were nice characters, and I loved the co-parenting dynamic. I’d really like an update on Bryan and Danica because I feel there’s a story brewing.

Sexy Judge!!!
Eric and Paige were instantly attracted to each other when they met in his courtroom. I loved the passionate scenes between them. I also loved how protective and supportive he was towards her after everything she had gone through and was going through with her trifling ex-husband. Another great book by Ms. Nicole!!!

Love Trials gave me mixed emotions. On one hand Mr Sexy Judge Eric definitely helped Paige gain confidence in being loved properly.
Now Paige had me hot because how you let your ex have you shook when you had a court case ??? Love a blend family so A++ for that .
The back and forth between Paige and Eric made me feel like , did they really belong together 😬 or more so to serve a purpose then move on.

"Love Trials" was GREAT! Poor Paige came home early and as cliche' as it sounds, caught her no good husband in HER bed with his secretary! Paige attacked, then her no good husband pulled a Lionel Richie on her and had her arrested! Best thing that ever happened because she met Judge Eric Johnston!

Great story
Enjoyed the story about Eric and Paige
They were great together and thought it wasn’t easy they made it to the finish line to happily ever after
There is some drama and betrayal but we see true friendship and love throughout the story as only Monae can tell it
She is a great storyteller and all her stories have life lessons in them

This book lacked! All the way from her goofy ex to her current boo dropping her like a bad habit for his ex that could’ve gotten treatment from her own home!!!! She had no reason to be at his house! Nope not me sir! Great co-parenting but not with the extras! Then they kept letting Travis punk them??? How? Make it make sense! Lucky for the three stars

This is a good read 🤩
This was a nice story. I enjoyed the characters most of them except for Trevor. I'm really happy that Eric and Paige are able to work it out. Paige definitely deserves better, and I'm glad she found it in Eric he's a keeper. I would love for Danica and Bryan to have a story. As always, it's a pleasure reading your books 🥰.

It was an okay read. Read kinda of cliche and the 3rd act breakup though I understood why he did it, what is didn't understand is why she wouldn't want to stay in contact with him and why he had to get back in her good graces. The man was literally just trying to focus on helping out his child mother and friend.
Anyways it was a very quick and easy read.
