No está mal y es una lectura ligera, perfecto para pasar un buen rato.
En esta ocasión le toca a Kadon que es el hermano que gestiona los clubes en la costa, yo los habría dejado como resorts para que se entienda mejor. Es el más despreocupado en apariencia, el surfero, pero tiene un trauma por algo que ocurrió y que no consigue superar.
Cuando conoce a Leesa, ex modelo, en su peor momento engañada por su ex, se enamora aunque cree que no es digno de ella.
Y al surgir la oportunidad de ser su falso novio, pues la va a tomar, porque si sólo puede tenerla unos días, al menos será feliz ese poco tiempo. Y Leesa no sabe dónde se ha metido porque Kadon es, sin duda, un perfecto novio falso.
Este libro aborda lo difícil que es la vida de las modelos y cuánto pueden marcarte las exigencias que se imponen. No se trata de forma muy dramática, pero aporta a la historia y a entender a Lee.
Como la propia autora dice, es un poco más largo que otros, pero no se hace pesado. Sí, podría haber sido más corto, pero también podría haber sido más largo y profundizar más en algunos aspectos.
Echamos de menos a la familia Kingcaid porque solo interviene Blaize del que espero leer pronto.

Sweet and seductive.
I wasn’t sure that I was going to like this book as much a the others in the series because it is quite sweet, which if you know me you know my preference is dark and gritty. BUT, I’ve to to say that I really enjoyed it.
I loved that Kadon is so far gone and in love with Leesa that he would do absolutely anything for the woman. Even if that means he never tells her and they remin best friends forever.
But after a mad suggestion to spend the weekend at her exe’s wedding, Leesa suddenly sees Kadon in a much different light. Let’s just say that sparks fly.
What really surprised me with this book is how the author introduced a scene with such cleverness that it made me rear up and gasp with unexpectedness. Hopefully when reading you will understand which scene I mean. It really took me by surprise and was a real moment in the story where I was like “okay, I’m invested.”
I genuinely don’t have a bad word to say about this book. It was the palette cleanser that I wanted and didn’t know I needed.
Still though, my heart will forever remain a Johannes fan.

En esta historia nos encontramos con Kadon y Lee, dos personajes que se conocen de una manera bastante original: él aparece en la vida de ella justo cuando está destrozada, llorando porque su prometido acaba de romper con ella tras engañarla. Desde ese momento, Kaydon se convierte en un apoyo incondicional, y entre ellos nace una amistad muy especial… aunque, claro, todos sabemos que detrás de esa complicidad late algo más.
Él está enamorado de ella, pero decide no dar el paso porque siente que Lee no está preparada. Todo cambia cuando llega la invitación de boda de su ex, nada menos que con la chica con la que la engañó. La situación es devastadora para Lee, y ahí Kadon aparece con la solución perfecta: la acompañará como su falso novio para dejar a su ex en evidencia. Y ya se imaginarán lo que pasa cuando una amistad tan fuerte cruza esa línea entre lo fingido y lo real… tensión, cariño, risas, complicidad y chispas por todos lados.
Algo que me encantó es el humor que comparten. Él es americano, ella inglesa, y a lo largo del libro hay chistes internos y un sarcasmo delicioso que, incluso traducido al español, logra sentirse natural y cercano, como si el lector fuera un espectador más en sus bromas. Además, no puedo dejar de mencionar a Dash, el gato, que roba escenas y más de una carcajada.
Más allá del romance, la autora nos muestra que ambos personajes arrastran traumas y heridas que no se sanan fácilmente, pero que el acompañamiento, las palabras justas y la compañía de alguien especial pueden hacer el camino mucho más llevadero. Esa enseñanza le da un trasfondo precioso a la historia.
Es una de esas novelas románticas que te dejan con el corazoncito calentito, perfecta para leer en una tarde de fin de semana, o en esos días grises en los que apetece una mantita, un café y una historia que te saque sonrisas y suspiros.

Seducida por ti es el quinto (y, de momento, último traducido) libro de la serie "Kingcaid Billionaires" que nos cuenta la historia de Kadon Kingcaid y Leesa, un friends to lovers con un fake dating que os enamorará.
Leesa es una ex modelo que lleva ya unos meses trabajando para Kadon en uno de los resorts, se han convertido en los mejores amigos. Un día recibe la invitación a la boda de su ex, ese que la dejó por la que decía ser su amiga. Kadon le propone ir juntos como pareja y demostrarle al ex que ella ha pasado pagina y que está mucho mejor sin él, aunque para él nada es fingido, lleva desde que la conoció enamorado de ella.
Esta serie mejora con cada libro, va a mejor, y la historia de Kadon y Lee es prueba de ella, un friends to lovers precioso donde él le va a demostrar cuánto la quiere. Ambos han tenido un pasado muy duro pero ver cómo conectan, se apoyan y lo hablan es lo más bonito que hay.
Lee nunca ha visto a Kadon más que como un amigo, pero cuando se besan delante del ex, ella siente de todo y no puede creer que lo que siempre quiso estaba delante de ella y nunca lo vio.
Me ha encantado la perspectiva del mundo que tienen, esas conversaciones llenas de ironía y sarcasmo, además de la sinceridad y honestidad con la que se hablan es precioso, señal de que antes de pareja han sido amigos y eso se nota.
Aparte de la trama romántica, la autora trata temas no tan bonitos, pero muy importantes, como la parte "no tan bonita" de ser modelo y el "saber perdonarse a uno mismo", y también por supuesto tendremos nuestra dosis de drama que nos dejará con el corazón encogido pero que habrá valido la pena para que Kadon y Lee tengan su merecido final feliz.
Tengo mucha curiosidad por saber de quién será el próximo libro y espero que la editorial española no tarde mucho en traducirlos.

I have loved the Kingcaid men throughout the series and Kadon has not disappointed.
Kadon runs the beach resort arm of the family business. Leena works for him while she pulls her life back together after a bad break up, and she and Kadon have become firm friends. When her ex invites her the his wedding, her first reaction is to tell him to stick his invite where the sun don't shine. Kadon suggests she go and take him along as a fake boyfriend to show the ex she has moved on to better things. That he is madly in love with her and would do anything for her even if he never gets the girl makes this story such a good read. There are secrets and lies that the two have to deal with as they begin to wonder if "fake" is what this really is.
I can say I loved this book and would highly recommend reading the whole Kingcaid Billionaires series. Each of the men has a different tale to tell and Johannes is to die for, but in the meantime watch out for Kadon and Leena, you are going to love them.

No está mal, pero tampoco es la bomba.
Las tres primeras de la serie me encantaron, pero la cuarta ya no me acabó de convencer y esta... A ver, no está mal, pero es floja. No engancha. Y hay partes que no acaban de ser congruentes.
Mucha repetición de los mismos pensamientos, falta de profundidad en los temas más importantes y muy poca sensibilidad en el final. El drama necesita más largada, más explicación...
Kadon es un hombre atormentado. Su trauma se entiende, pero le falta desarrollo y un poco más de extensión en cómo lo supera. Me ha gustado su forma de querer y cómo lo da todo por el amor.
Lee... No me ha gustado tanto. Falta mucho más texto para entender bien su trauma, tal como está es demasiado superficial para entender por qué actúa de una manera específica. No me ha caído demasiado bien, la verdad.
Para mí es incongruente que en dos días cambies tanto los sentimientos hacia alguien. No está bien explicado y me ha parecido muy irreal.

I love reading about the exploits of the Kincaid and this one is no different. Kadon runs the Kincaid Beach Resort side of the business. A business which is thriving and he employs Leesa as his right hand man and they get on like a house on fire becoming firm friends friends that tell each other everything and would do anything for each other. Everything changes when she gets a letter from the ex fiance inviting her to the wedding. Leesa point blank refuses to go but after a long chat with Kadon her mind is changed and he persuades her to go but with him tagging along as her fake boyfriend. Their banter is funny as....and the chemistry is definitely there for all to see. They both have issues to deal with before either of them can move on. This story is sweet, romantic, funny and so easy to read I whizzed through it in no time.

In dieser Geschichte geht es um ein Ex-Model, dass von ihrem Ex-Verlobten zu dessen Hochzeit eingeladen wird. Ihr bester Freund begleitet sie als besser aussehender und reicherer Mann an ihrer Seite, um ihrem Ex auf die Nase zu binden wie wenig sie ihn braucht und dass es ihr ohne ihn besser geht!
Die Dynamik zwischen den Hauptcharakteren ist absolut gelungen und liest sich sehr angenehm. Auch die Interaktionen mit anderen Charakteren sind gut gelungen und ergeben ein rundes Bild, dass wirklich Spaß macht zu lesen.
Der Schreibstil ist gewohnt angenehm und macht es leicht problemlos in die Geschichte abzutauchen und zu genießen.
Eine gelungene Geschichte, die viel Spaß beteitet hat zu lesen!
Die Dynamik zwischen den Hauptcharakteren ist absolut gelungen und liest sich sehr angenehm. Auch die Interaktionen mit anderen Charakteren sind gut gelungen und ergeben ein rundes Bild, dass wirklich Spaß macht zu lesen.
Der Schreibstil ist gewohnt angenehm und macht es leicht problemlos in die Geschichte abzutauchen und zu genießen.

Sino me equivoco este fue mi primer acercamiento a la autora y, en general, la experiencia fue entretenida. La historia arranca muy bien: atrapante, con personajes que me gustaron mucho y un ritmo que me mantuvo enganchada desde el principio.

The 5th book in the kingcaid series!
I've always loved this series and Penn from Captivated by you was always my number one guy! Until Kaden came along, now Kaden is ny number one guy!
I won't give spoilers as I hate doing that.
This book was an easy read, the moment I picked it up I had to fight with myself to put it down. (The book won)
In my opinion this is the best one yet out of all 5 (sorry Penn amd Gia, but I do still love you guys)

Brilliant read
Once again, a fantastic book by this talented author. An exciting plot line and a steamy romance between Kadon and Leesa, both haunted by their pasts. Tracie has managed skillfully to weave an excellent story with some deep emotions and also some hilarious passages that had me laughing out loud. I have loved this whole series, but I think this is my favourite so far. I eagerly await the next book in the series.

This was a surprisingly cute friends-to-lovers story.
Even though it was quite cliche and didn’t go too deep into any real issues, keeping it light and superficial, there were some nice plot twists I wouldn’t necessarily expect. And it wasn’t all fairytale either but had some reality check to it.
Nothing too memorable, but fun and short enough to enjoy in one sitting.

Their relationship felt natural. First friendship, then a fake dating to make her realize his worth, and then simple swooning.
