I remember Dr. Dhanpaul from the Queens community as a child. I was excited to read a book by a Guyanese author about Guyana. I loved the storytelling. It’s like A Fine Balance, meets Pi. I found myself intrigued and rooting for Raj the entire book, I hope a second one is on its way. I enjoyed the political historical references, and the descriptions of the different parts of Guyana. Great job Dr. Dhanpaul!
